Peter Andre: I'm so over Mrs Reid

Pete its a very strange thing to say you are so over mrs reid, when you left her in the cowardly way that you did it should of been over then. So i think you made a big mistake with your last boyish tantrum and just wasnt man enough to back down, that is also very cowardly. I think you know pete, that you didnt try hard enough at your marriage, it was only a few years, you gave up too easily and now you are paying for it, because you will never have the same relationship with your children as you would of done had you stayed with them, you can see it in your face, you still love katie price.

Why do you think Pete is a good father? A good father would not of left his wife and children just because he couldnt handle his own insecurities or jealousy. On his itv2 show with Katie, he thought of himself before his children, he did not have much time for them then. At the moment he is using them at every photo opportunity possible, he also should never have released his song about Harvey, after leaving him, very hypocritical words. Also if he wants the best for his children why wont he talk to Katie? she has often offered an olive branch, but he would rather the mother of his children spent her money on solicitors fees to make arrangements instead. Peter always said he would not sell any stories about anything but he does whenever an album comes out or one of his products and if Pete thinks its a circus being married to Katie why is he copying everything she has ever done.

Can't stand the blokes reactions. His attitude and "reactions" are as questionable as are his choices in women. That said:

I do hope he gets to keep acting as Harvey's father, since Dwight is less than willing and Alex has not had to chance to prove himself worthy yet. He seems a wonderful lad and deserves to have Andre's love. Hold your head up mate, we all know your trying. Love your kids, they are just precious. Some of that comes from their mother, too. In time this will all seem really silly.

Remember, you loved each other once. Being civil to each other should come with time. I hope for the best to all involved.

I think that Pete's had a lucky escape - in many ways, Alex Reid has done him a huge favour. Pete has retained his dignity throughout the breakup and has shown that he has the class and morals to protect his kids as much as possible. Either Pete really is an absolute gem of a guy or / and his management are totally clued up.

im so SICK of hearing Peter go on and on about how he is over eveything. WE KNOW ALREADY. He is the one who keeps going on about it, no one notice he keeps going on about Jordan in his own little coloum page in certain magazines, and is aaaaaaalways banging on in magazines like OK, he even had a advert recently going on about his story of how he is so over Jordan and his views on her new man and bla bla bla. God grow a pair Peter, or heaven forbid go and date somone :O im fed up of it all, he backtracks on his words all the time. Not talking about things that went on but STILL managing to get loads of money for talking 'not' talking about his old relationship. Boring!

Nobody knows what goes on in a marriage behind closed doors. Perhaps Pete wanted Katie to be something she is not. Maybe Katie has good reason to complain about the times with Peter. He is not a saint - a good dad maybe. The only thing for Katie is whatever hurt she has from her time with Pete, she is doing her best to show she is not hurting....AND is actually making a mess of her life. I think when she is hurt, she takes it out on men. Hopefully for the sake of her 3 kids at least, she does not have more kids and she does make her time with Alex Reid count...to use and abuse men for the sake of fame and loadsa money does not deal with the pain of a hurting woman who is past her sell by date as a model and young fancy free woman. Katie and Pete are better apart now it is clear that neither of them wanted to play the happy family game properly.

Pete, as a bloke, the only question in my mind is "What the hell did you see in her in the first place ?" She tried to humiliate and belittle you every time the cameras were rolling, and that's no basis for a sound relationship.
But "well done" for not letting her back in when she realised what a mistake she had made. It says it all that she then went running back to the cagefighter .... who has already said (after just 4 days!) that he was conned into the marriage and wants out !
You are well rid. And there's no way any Court is going to take your kids away from you - or Harvey either, so don't shed any more tears for fears about that.

Why should you sit down and chat with Alex Reid? Because he is now you're childrens stepfather. Personally I would want to get to know anyone who was in close contact with my children face to face not through the tabloids. If you can't see that then you're just as immature as your ex wife! No one is expecting tea, biscuits and pleasantries, just a basic level of communication with the person living with your children. This is the man celebrated for being mature and putting his kids first? Excuse me whilst I try and swallow my guffaws.

I hated my ex and his new partner and was outraged at the speed at which she was involved in my childrens lives, however I felt it my responsibility to personally know the woman who would be caring for my precious children while they were with their father. As a mother I had to look past my anger, hurt and resentment to do the right thing by my kids. I wanted them to hate her if I'm honest, but I quicky found to my chagrin that she was a perfectly decent woman and my children grew to be very fond of her. I'm glad I put my own feelings aside to be mature enough to put my children first. Shame St Pete doesn't have the gumption to do so.

I have always admired Pete. I think he is a lovely guy and is well rid of Katie/Jordan. It seems her only concerned is about herself, the publicity and money she gets. One day she will look back and see the mistakes that she's made in her life. I think she could end up a very lonely person. Bear in mind money and fame does not buy or bring happiness with it. I think that Pete can only go from strength to strength now and wish him and his children all the luck in the world. Also good luck Alex. You seriously need it. Isn't it funny how Pete only gets attention regarding his ex-wife?! Nobody is interested in him, he only gets media attention when he's piping up yet again about Katie. I'm not particularly a fan of Katie Price's but Pete keeps saying how he wants to shut the door on the past, yet he keeps bringing it up at every opportunity. Before people say 'he can't help what he is asked in interviews', yes he can - he has total control and power over what people ask him, so he could simply ask not to talk about Katie in any interview. i completely understand why he wont sit down with katie and alex there really is no need they are divorced the only contact they need to have is to discuss the children which they both have said is the only thing they discuss which is how it should be! as long as the children are happy then thats all they should be concerned with. its the right time now to get the KP tattoo removed, hes well rid of katie and i think the longer pete is single the better a woman he'll meet and it will be for life that time and by then jordan will be divorced for the second time and probably have more children by a third man!!

been there done it, it took me five years to get over my ex hubby and we had children, but you get there, you have maintained a high level of dignity through out all this and the kids will see that later on, and you will always be daddy to all three of the kids, :)

Im not surprised Pete broke down in that interview, any man would. she should have talked about his album and tour first, NOT what are you going to do if Alex Reid wants to adopt your children, the children you love, adore and would die for? and by the way hows the tour going!!!... note to Dwight York, the difference between Pete wanting to adopt Harvey and the suggestion from that interview about the above is, Pete is a committed and loving father who wanted to be REAL dad to Harvey, his kids do not need another one as they have theirs. And in relation to the "marriage" she will have another kid, she will end up lone again, remember the saying "marry in haste repent at leisure" Alex you have been warned. Its the children I feel sorry for caught up in her 3 ring circus of a life....

Mr Wooten this is how an interview should be conducted well done. Peter it is all up from hear you and the three children can enjoy the future which looks bright now the burden of your ex wufe has been shifted to another man. The children will need you to stay as strong as you are when that ill matchd relationship bites the dustand the circus that is Katie begins again. Good luck in all you do

i am quite open minded person. and i still like 'jordan'. she just come's across as if the world 'o's' her because she has come from nowhere and <apart from a good family> she has worked to be where she is today o.k so the fortune all came from her chest but she has still had to work at it, i think deep down she is pretty insecure even though she has everything and i think she is so scared of being hurt that she hurt's the people that love her the most, and i think that 'pete' was lovely and genuine guy and he truly loved 'jordan' but i don't think she got it! she know's she has screwed up if she is honest with herself i just hope she doesn't screw this one up with 'alex' as again he seem's genuine, o.k yeah he has had some bad press 'so what' that's life none of us is perfect.< as long as the children are happi> life should go on. and 'pete' you will find someone nice and pretty and genuine and sweet just don't rush it as i feel you got hurt and let down and you are a guy that takes thing's serious just don't get caught in the fire again!< i think 'jordan' loved you she just tried to make out she did not give s..t but realy she did and it was too late! i don't understand why she does it as she has got the world at her feet if she played the right cards<just her pack is a bit messed up! goodluck to you all & the kiddies.

I'm so over Pete. He's rinsed it long enough and I'm not in anybody's camp. It's also the best thing that Katie/Jordan could have done. But to be honest, I still enjoy reading all their antics, and am looking forward to Katie's new tv show.......saves me having a life of my own really;) LOL

Anyone who knows and loves you Pete knows what a great guy you are. You can go on and be happy as you have piece of mind and that is all you need in life! In a world where alot of kids don't have parents, or decent ones, you are a truelly great father and should be proud!

its reallllly odd that after persisting that the tattoo of the name kate on his finger stay on bcause of the children and then it wasnt the right time....erm and all of a sudden KATES MARRIED AND ITS NOW TIME TO REMOVE IT Mmmmmm then crying over the newsgate incident i actually think part of it was because he still has feelings there
he was considering a reconcilliation obviously
