A HERO has come along for X FACTOR bosses - MARIAH CAREY will perform on the show next Sunday.

The singer, 39, below, will belt out new single I Want To Know What Love Is, out on November 23.

A TV insider told me: "She will be a massive pull for viewers."

Mariah's also toned down her diva ways by taking a normal suite at London's Dorchester hotel rather than the Royal Suite!

The Queen returns for another year. last year perfomance was brillent, and her masterclass with 2008 contestants was so much more helpful than whitneys one this year. can't wait. i think she will pull out all the stops, because whitney was on before her. prove shes still number 1
