PhotosSMITTEN KATY PERRY is all smiles right now thanks to her new man RUSSELL BRAND - who has offered to help her launch an acting career.
The I Kissed A Girl singer - picture leaving Russ's pad yesterday morning - desperately wants to break into films and her new beau has promised to give her a helping hand in hooking her up with Hollywood's acting elite.
Funnyman Russell - who has played numerous roles in Hollywood, including playing himself, himself and, erm, himself - has also bizarrely offered to give her acting lessons.
He has already spoken to Knocked Up director and super producer JUDD APATOW and has managed to bag her an audition for his next major box office smash.
Someone in Katy's camp told me: "Katy really wants to break into acting and Russell has offered to help.
"He thinks he can coach her into the film world."
