The Scottish sensation, 48, performed Mick Jagger's 1971 ballad on America's Got Talent on Wednesday.
And her rendition will also be the first single from her first album.
A source said: "Her opening performance to promote her album will be in front of 20 million TV viewers - so the stakes could hardly be higher.
"But her cover of Wild Horses is sensational and people will be blown away. Simon Cowell is a very happy man right now."

SuBo's album, I Dreamed A Dream, will be released on November 23 under Cowell's SyCo label - and is set to be a Christmas hit on both sides of the Atlantic.
It includes the Les Miserables song Susan first wooed the world with on ITV's Britain's Got Talent last spring.

I can't believe she did this so well so quickly.
Susan is in a class all her own....voice, humility and genius.
I never thought I'd like a song better than her Cry Me A River, but this is it...she's precious, an absolute gem.

This is one of the most talented singers on the planet, God bless you, Susan! Lots of us here in the USA are looking forward to buying your album. May you enjoy much success, good health, and blessings with your family and friends!

Keith Price, shut up. Perhaps we Scots think there is more to life than getting a team to the World Cup. Good luck Susan Boyle, loads of English people have tried to conquer the USA and failed. We are proud of you.

I heard the "Wild Horses" track before it was pulled, too. OMG! Haunting thrilling. Just an unbelieveable performance. What an album that's going to be.

I was fortunate enough to hear "Wild Horses" before it was pulled from YouTube. Absolutely breathtaking. What a delight she is and somehow, I think the Scots right now are more than proud they can call Susan one of their own,

It's absolutely beautiful, and yes, it did blow me away!
At first I wasn't sure that it was even Susan.
She's so versatile. Now the wait for the album will be even harder.

If I was Scottish, I'd be more ashamed of this wannabe than I would of my national football ream

I have heard Susan Boyle's rendition of Wild Horses, and it is breathtakingly beautiful. Her glorious voice is unbelievable on this one - she will have her listeners in absolute tears. She sings with such emotion and passion, unlike anyone I have ever heard. Her album will sell millions - she is magnificent.
