Liam: Oasis will not split

OH brother - LIAM GALLAGHER is going to continue with OASIS despite NOEL binning the band for good.

The mad fer it Manc wants to Roll With It and keep the music alive as he holds the rights to the super band.

This week Liam said he wouldn't talk to his brother until January - because he thinks Noel will need that long to cool off.

I'm told by a contact in Liam's camp: "He's decided that just because the guitarist has quit, it doesn't mean the band should collapse.

"He's been on holiday with bassist ANDY BELL and both of them reckon they can keep going and create good music - even without Noel.

"Liam has been writing a lot and Andy has made a big contribution to the band."

I'm also told that Noel HAS agreed to meet with Liam at the start of next year.

But on one condition - his MUM is there to make sure there's no fisticuffs.

i agree with the guy saying that noel leaving oasis is definetly on a par maybe even more than john squire leaving the roses. oasis would no way be anywhere near the band they are with noel. hes the songwriter and he writes the tunes, wouldnt work no way. i think that he will return to oasis as he always does i mean how many times has he threw in the towel and then returned.

I was at Rock Am See this summer. Oasis were scheduled as headliners, but due to their split, british Rock dinosaurs - DEEP PURPLE were invited to replace them...

got to say, I, and all the 30 000 people who attended the show, were blown away by Deep Purple - probably the greatest rock band ever.
Nobody remembered and nobody missed Oasis when Purple began their set...

can't argue with that catalogue of songs... any fan of music has to show respect for what oasis has done. great song-writing, fantastic live show.

the albums will tell their story way better than the media has done in our time. one of the greats!!

oasis will never work without noel .... remember the stone roses when they carried on without john squire???

Rupert, which planet exactly are you on???

No band has a greater list of songs???? You absolute space cadet, as much as I like Oasis I can be objective when it comes to other bands.....how about the entire Beatles back catalogue for example....a great source of inspiration for many an Oasis song.

Rubert, are you serious? Ride songs were garbage? You obviously haven't seen both Ride and Oasis live. Ride would blow Oasis off the stage. For that matter, Andy Bell is a FAR better guitarist than Noel. From a performance standpoint, the band wouldn't miss a beat with Andy assuming lead duties.

That said, Oasis shouldn't go forward without Noel. It would be a bit like The Clash continuing without Mick Jones. Remember how that worked out?

The best band ever, so many great songs, live forever, dont look back in anger, wonderwall, supersonic, cigarettes and alcohol, champagne supernova, no band has a greater list of songs than them, most of their b-sides would be singles for almost every current band, acquiesce, the masterplan, half the world away, talk tonight, listen up, it's good to be free, fade away . Oasis are simply the best there was, the best there is and the best there ever will be. Only The Verve and The Stone Roses come close to them

Oasis without their genius ?? Replaced by Liam and Andy Bell ?? hahahahahahahahaha

Andy Bell struggled to get a songwriting co-credit in his old band "Ride" - remember them ? Nope, and for good reason - their songs were garbage.
