Peter Andre's new chart attack
...and this time he's serious!
PETER Andre was on a high as he bounded into the XS studio to reveal he's teamed up with LA TOYA JACKSON for a tribute to MICHAEL.
"This is the biggest thing that's ever happened to me," he said excitedly as he warmed up to perform an XSclusive acoustic performance of his new single.
"La Toya and I are joining forces. The Jacksons know how much I love Michael and how he's been an inspiration. It's a total honour to be doing it."
The tribute will kick off a whirlwind few months for the Insania singer - as he relaunches his music career and will try and crack the US market.
He has a hugely important gig before music bosses at Universal Studios in LA - the first time he's performed in the States.
Pete, 36, said nervously: "It's a big thing for me." I have been talking to him for months about recording an XSESSION - before his messy divorce from JORDAN.
He is determined to prove his album launch isn't a publicity stunt as she has claimed.
Pete said: "I've been working on it for over a year. How could you plan to release something on the strength of a break-up? If you really listen, these songs weren't about something being over - they were about something possibly being fixed."
He added of the split: "I thought 'This could be the end for me. Maybe no-one's even going to pay attention. What if after this break-up, the public turned completely against me?'"
Pete said: "I don't expect everyone to take me as a credible artist straightaway. But I'm hoping today's XSESSION will help make people give me a go."
Pete said an opportunity is something Jordan, real name Katie Price, never gave him - as she refused to listen to his work most of the time. He said: "I even used to say to Katie, 'Why don't you come and listen?' These were my letters."
Behind Closed Doors is out today via download and Pete, who has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in his new music, is aiming to hit No 1 next Sunday.
He said: "When I went away, I used to say: 'Please God. If you ever give me another chance, I'd never take it for granted'. So I would love nothing more than this song to go to the top."

I've watched the katie and jordan and used to go mad on how she used to speak to you!! How you put up with it for so long i do not know, you have the patience of an angel!!!! I noticed how you used to say 'i love you' to Katie and you rarely got a response or she'd give you a sarky comment :(
You deserve better and hell your an amazing person of what ive seen of you on tv etc and your a wonderful dad, you interact with you children and i love the way you talk to them, you talk to them with so much love and how you try to explain things to them. Oh and your children are beautiful.
You and Junior when you get him to copy what you say has me in stitches!!!
Your a great guy and your album is amazing. I was waiting ages for that to come out, got it now so im a happy girl :D

I think he is very talented. At any stage in his career he has produced music to fit that genre popular at the time. I love love love his new sound. not keen on this song, sorry pete but its just not that good, maybe if someone else sang it. Its like your replying the split in your songs just get over katie, i hope this song does well because you have put alot of effort into this album. Love this acoustic version of BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, its shows that Peter's voice is not dubbed on the for sale version. His voice is brilliant, he has a very dimensional voice and that's why alot of people are saying it's not him singing on the single. Anyone slatting him is obviously tone deaf. He's a very talented, good looking guy and I hope he goes straight to number 1 with this song. Well done Peter, don't listen to any on Team Katie. They haven't a clue!!!
