Cheryl is a very good looking girl but she spends £100k a year on grooming, it's totally immoral and makes her seem really vain, she dosent need to spend that much to look good, she already does!! I'm not slagging her off as I really like her but come on, that's more than most families live on for a year, this is how self obsessed celebs are, and we all get sucked in. I try and do my own thing and walk to the beat of my own drum, maybe you should too and stop idolising 'Famous People' they are the same as the rest of us!!!

Thank god someone has mentioned the amount of styling she has had to endure to look this way. Does anyone remember how she used to look at the start of girls aloud??
thats her natural look, not her current look, for which she has a crew of stylists to help her create. And im sure she didn't choose this hair colour herself either. Hardly her own style is it?

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! About 2 weeks before VB unveiled her concaved bab, I had mine cut like that on the advice of my hairdresser. Once she came out with it and EVERYONE had it done I grew myhair back long and decided to go red about 6 months ago. It did my head in when people said ooooh you hair is like VB's, and it will do my head in this time with CC. What a nightmare cos I love it red - its gonna get soooooo boring seeing red heads I'm gutted. She isnt stylish either......remember her pre-Girls aloud days anyone? She has a stylist (or team of them!!)

This is no trend setter, i had this colour like a year ago. and for god sake wheres the new style, this style has been worn out now it was nice at first, now it bores me!

I think it took some guts for her to do it considering her signature hair style is what many women covet and contributes a great amount to her sex-appeal, brave choice! I rather like it actually, why are people saying she looks washed out? She has colour in her face, and this is the U.K for goodness sake, not many people are naturally tanned. Must people in the U.K have such a boring, uniform conception of beauty? If she wants to try something new and daring then good on her!

all she's done is colour her hair and she's getting bitched at. Some people have constructive comments, which is fine, but everyone who has come to flame and bitch because they're jealous of her? Learn to be comfortable in your own skin, and maybe you won't need to pick faults in others to make you feel better. Yes, we know she has a lot of money, but lets be fair, all the money in the world couldn't honestly make everyone naturally pretty, which, lets all be honest, Cheryl is. it might not be the groundbreaking style NOTW is making it out to be, but it's definatly a break from the constant blonde and brunettes that occupy our screens, isn't it? Personally, i think it suits her, but whats more obvious about her is that she's confident and she's happy, and that does more for her than hair colour ever will.

My 15yr old daughter has had her hair that colour for the past 12months but hers was much brighter than cheryls!!! She has just gone back to a rich brown as reds never stay bright looking as they fade very fast which means you have to colour over all the time!!!
I Do think it suits her but she is in NO WAY setting a new trend so why do the papers say she is........is it that they have nothing interesting to say about her lately???????????? Prob just had an empty space that they were struggling to fill in this wks news of the world!!!!!!!!!!

I've got to agree with Averil. If everybody had £100,000 to spend on personal grooming alone - we would all look "beautiful" to some extent.

It's easy to say a female celebrity is beautiful when she has so much professional help to get her looking that way. It means so much more to see an everyday girl who is genuinely beautiful as they probably only spend humble sums of money on beauty and don't have any make-up artists, hair stylists, clothing stylists...at their every beck and call either!!!

I have only seen this one photo so I might be wrong, but I don't think it looks that nice. It would have made more of a statement had it been cut differently too, or the colour more vibrant. It looks as though it is a £3 job from Boots. I think it looked fab on Ashlee Simpson but makes Cheryl look pale and tired. Having said all this, Cheryl is still so naturally beautiful. As a hairdresser myself, I can see that this change in colour probably took a lot of money and time to do (changing the colour of her HAIR EXTENSIONS to match that of the dye itself etc) and for what? It does look like a quick fix hair dye job.

If she actually got rid of those wag-ish extensions and changed her hair length it would look a lot more classy and sophisticated. A Danni style bob would suit her well. She looks a bit washed out now.
