Kylie Minogue set to get engaged
KYLIE Minogue is about to get engaged to boyfriend Andres Velencoso, she let slip during a heart to heart with me in Cannes.
But when I asked about plans for the wedding she looked down at her feet, went bright red and giggled: "Er, I really couldn't say!"
Then pointing to my buttonhole flower she quipped: "But I see you're ready for it."
The Princess of Pop played the "blushing bride" at an exclusive gig for A-list celebs like James Blunt and Peaches Geldof in the early hours of yesterday. I was the only showbiz writer invited.
Kylie, 40 - who split with French actor Olivier Martinez, 43, in 2007 after four years - said of 31-year-old Spaniard Andres: "He's lovely, amazing. I'm a very lucky girl."
But her fans might not be so lucky (er, lucky, lucky) - as Kylie announced that she's putting her music on hold to revive her acting career. Kylie, who first found fame in Neighbours, now wants to crack Hollywood.
"I love acting and I feel ready to really go for it, she told me at the lavish Miracle Africa International Foundation Charity bash, sponsored by Chopard.
"I want to go back to my roots. I'd like to do drama and comedy roles. I'd even like to return to Cannes as a director one day."
But my new XS Icon assured me she will be releasing new music again. "I'm always working on things quietly," she said.
Meanwhile, I'm told Dannii Minogue has secretly agreed to get hitched to her rugby player-turned model boyfriend Kris Smith.
A source said: "Kris took her on a romantic holiday to Port Douglas in Australia. It was the last chance before Dannii has to come back for X Factor.
"Kris is going to have to stay in Oz for a bit because he's got some modelling work. But they're planning to make an official announcement over the summer."
I GROOVED with rocker JAMES BLUNT during Kylie's wicked set.
And he was quite blunt about what he'd like to do to her!
He said she was the singer he'd most like to sing You're Beautiful to every morning. He told me: "Kylie is the girl every guy wants to marry, including me."
PEACHES Geldof flashed the silver-wear at Kylie's party then dashed to the Dolce & Gabbana bash and danced crazy with sister Pixie.
She said: "Pixie was flamenco dancing alone for hours. Then she ran around swishing her dress in people's faces."
Peaches has partied for a week and has a new bosom buddy, Paris Hilton.

Peaches looks awful, she looks like she's a chicken ready for the oven in that dress, what's with the make up looks like she's trying to cover up that she hasn't slept for a week.

This is a gross overstatement and an insult to the genuine A listers with real talent who have earned the public's respect This nobody with only her fathers name as a claim to fame is so talentless and chav with no class a million other more attractive and fresh young girls could easily take her place and deserve it!
What puzzles me is this:
How she is always able to afford to be seen in these expensive places exclusive likethe Cannes film festival What is she promoting other than herself?
Who provides the clothes and the expenses for these trips Her father?

Kylie - plastic - hardly. Come on now people she's not Joan Rivers. Anyway who isn't using Botox? and quiet honestly what's wrong with it anyway. Everyone who jumps on the anti Botox wagon are just scared or jealous that they can't afford it. Kylie is gorgeous, you go girl.

Kylie looks sensational, I'd really be glad for her if she has found real love with Andres, both of them look great together, and Kylie is such a great person.
Can't believe how many of you consider her as a plastic doll as she has "only" had botox, and excuse me but in the showbiz botox at the age of 40 is the less celebs do. (this doesn't mean I am for botox) but common her body ain't plastic and you know it, so stop being jealous bout her. The girl rocks!! :)

Why oh why do tabloids feature waste's of space like peaches geldof, she's not in the slightest bit attractive and she's a talentless waste of space - how desperate are you?? For god sake she probably had those expensive shoes given to her for nothing and they don't even fit!! Sure this won't even be printed.............
