MADONNA Likes A Prayer - but now she's brought her London rabbi to America to pray for a miracle over her failing adoption bid.

Madge has begged her Ka-blah-blah leader Eitan Yardeni to fly to the US to pray with her for the successful adoption of baby Mercy from Malawi.

A source close to the star said: "They have been praying at every waking hour. The adoption process has been stressful for Madonna. She's been telling pals it's felt as painful as childbirth."

Er, can't really put those two in the same pain category can you, Madge.

Why is it so hard for ppl to respect her belief system. She has been studying Kabbalah for over 12 years. Clearly not a fad or spur of the moment philosophy for her. Just because you may be cynical or an athiest or whatever, try to show some respect. This woman isn't addicted to drugs or alcohol, works hard for a living, loves her kids....what more does she need to do??? Nope mocking her is so much better than giving her some much derserved props, I guess.
