Katy Perry sets record straight

KATY PERRY has blasted reports she warned girls not to date her ex TRAVIS McCOY during a recent show.

The gorgeous I Kissed A Girl singer had supposedly slammed her former lover's commitment issues during her incredible performance at Los Angeles' Wiltern Theatre on Saturday.

But I can finally set the record straight and reveal she was actually referring to DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE frontman BENJAMIN GIBBARD.

Katy Perry has avoided commenting on the break-up so-far, but the deaf in the audience supposedly heard Katy say: "Girls, if you have ever dated a boy - specifically the lead singer from Gym Class Heroes - don't do it! Boys should have a heart. You know what I mean girls? Boys just want the milk, but they don't want to buy the cow."

But what she REALLY told fans: "Girls if you feel me, if you've ever dated the lead singer from Death Cab For Cutie... it's not like that, I'm not engaged... this one goes out to him.

"To all of my upcoming relationships - one foot in, one foot out. He wants the milk but he never wants to buy the cow."

Now I know she can be pretty distracting but when Katy talks... we should listen. And when Katy sings... we should listen.

And when Katy puts on an outrageously sexy outfit... well, we should definitely listen.
