The recovering drug addict is spending a whopping £1 million to launch her own record company.
She's named the business Lioness and has already made her first signing - her uber-talented 12-year-old goddaughter Dionne Bromfield.
Amy is so confident that Dionne has what it takes to become Britain's next pop sensation she's teamed her up with US star Lady Gaga, soul singer Lemar and X Factor finalist Eoghan Quigg to record duets.
But most excitingly Amy, 25, has secretly headed into the studio with 13-year-old Dionne to collaborate on a handful of songs herself.
The album will be released in March and I can't wait to hear it.
My source in camp Wino said: "The album is co-produced and co-written by Amy. It has a kind of funky Motown soul sound.
"Amy thinks Dionne is so talented that she didn't want to wait for record companies to come knocking in a few years." Amy has taken advice from X Factor judges and established record industry moguls Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, who have both been introduced to Dionne.
Last night a very excited Dionne told me: "I had a lot of record companies wanting to sign me but I didn't know where to go. So for Amy to set up this record company and make me her first signing means so much."
Amy recently flew Dionne to St Lucia in the Caribbean, where she is currently living, to plan the project.
The troubled singer - pictured last week in St Lucia begging for booze on all fours on the Caribbean island of St Lucia - told a close friend: "I'm cleaning up my act for Dionne.
She needs someone responsible around her to promote her career." A source close to Amy added: "This is a very exciting business venture for Amy. It marks a new phase in her career, just like when Madonna set up Maverick Records.
"Amy is covering all the costs herself. She wants to sign up more acts and bands who she supports to help nurture a new generation of talent."
Amy has also spent £15,000 to send Dionne on an intensive month-long singing programme in Los Angeles.

Good luck to her-the further away she is the better-I'm sure we'll all be much happier without her

i think that this is a really good thing.
amy will know how much responsibility she has, and will hopefully put it to goood use.
also, she will be able to find unique artists, (such as herself), which everyone will love.

Greatnews from Amy. The duet they did of the Alicia Keyes hit on You Tube is sensational. I can't wait to hear both Dionne's and Amy's new albums

This necessitates cautious optimism that Amy might be headed back to sobriety.
