SUPER-SKINNY CHERYL COLE has been dishing out advice to X Factor winner ALEXANDRA BURKE-ordering her to fatten up.
The talent show judge reckons Alex is too thin after dropping from a size 12 to an 8 during the show.But the advice has stunned Christmas No1 star Alex because Cheryl herself is even skinnier at a waif-like size 6.
A source revealed: "Cheryl has been telling Alex she looks too skinny. She says she can see the weight loss in her face because her cheekbones stick out too much.
"But Alex thinks it's crazy. She loves Cheryl to pieces but thinks, 'Look who's talking.' Alex is very slim, but compared to Cheryl she looks like a giant. Cheryl is the one who needs to gain weight."
Last month Alex revealed that she wanted to be anorexic at the age of nine-but has vowed never to diet again.
Her worried sister SHENIECE has already told Alex not to lose any more weight after slimming from a size 12 during the show. She said: "She looks nice, but I did tell her, 'No more'."
My source added: "Alex doesn't diet. She just eats healthily. When the X Factor finals started, she would try even harder to opt for salads rather than some of the junk the other contestants were eating."
It seems that teeny Cheryl, 25, may just take her own advice though.
Her weight plummeted to six stone after hubby ASHLEY's cheating came to light earlier this year. But the Girls Aloud singer, who wore a rib-revealing dress at the X Factor final, has vowed to gain weight after being stunned at how skinny she looked.
Meanwhile, Hallelujah singer Alex, 20, is getting ready to celebrate her success with a break on RICHARD BRANSON'S private paradise island Necker.
Delighted Sony BMG bosses are treating her to the holiday in the British Virgin Islands-and she's taking best pal and fellow finalist RUTH LORENZO along for fun in the sun.
The source went on: "Alex and Ruth are over the moon-they can't wait. It's the kind of holiday normally reserved for huge stars like MARIAH CAREY. It just goes to show how highly they regard Alex."
The two singers also plan to move in together and are flat hunting in London. The source said: "Alex and Ruth really clicked on the show and have become best friends."

or maybe a clever pr move by cheryl's people. she gets slated about being so skinny so what happens, it comes out that cheryl has 'ordered' alex to put on weight. then cheryl will gain weight to be a 'role model' for more young children. etc. yawn
