Diane Vickers was seen screaming on Bonfire night when she was supposed too ill to sing last night!!! Might have something to do with it being Diva week and she is so not
I think that no -one should have been voted off last night and as little Diana has been given a buy to the next round.I think that Simon and Louis should be ashamed of themselves. Laura is an amazing singer and always got on with the job without a single sympathy approach I am disgusted that we are being used as the scape goats when it comes to the show. Never public vote. Austin was also brilliant and I am sure that both Laura and him will have future success. Pull the plug now Simon its becoming boring. Have lost all interest now injustice done last week and this week.

I thought the format was changed so that the sing off was judged purely on the last song, so why did Louie save in his own words " i save the one that has more fight in her" absolutely appalling, the idea of the show is to showcase the talent and the reason the judges are left to vote is that they are to stop the talent from slipping out surely. The sooner the judges realize the show is about the contestants and not them point scoring from each other.
Laura would be a greater recording artist than Ruth anyday in the british market surely!! is that not what the show is supposed to be about?

I think that Simon and Louis voted Laura off to protect their own act. I have decided to no longer watch this farce. As for Simon, obviously you should be voted off the judges board as your opinion is not sustainable at all. How could you vote someone off that you described as being your very own reason why you are still doing this show?

I'm not British but I'm (or was)a huge fan of talent shows, because i'm always glad to see young talents and stunning performances like for instance Leona Lewis in 2006. But this year, to be honest, I'm getting a bit disgusted of how manipulated this show can be. In my homecountry we obviously haven't got to this level yet...I mean all these sob stories, all this crying, hard life, dead relatives etc..But to get to the point - the main idea or reason why such a show is on tv IS to get votes and advertising space. Let's take Diana - who I think along with LJS is the only act that has a REAL chance to succeed at least a little bit - It's like she's through to the next round just like that, without singing a single note, so what happens if her condition will last for let's say next 6 weeks - then she would be automatically the winner right? The reason why they're keeping her in the show is that she gets many votes if not the most of them, which means more money. And another reason why i'm writing this - just wondering, when the h*ll will people/judges realize that Rachel CANNOT sing. The only thing she can do is to sing very very loud because she's got strong voice, but she's singing off tune all the time, she yells these flat, pitchy notes and has no flexibility in her voice, no softness or feeling. IMO she sounds like a goat or something..And they are still giving her "the second" chance like for the 7th time already...that's all I wanted to say, sorry for my grammar:D

Both Louis and Simon have previously said that Laura is World Class and an outstanding talent - yet both vote her off! Why? Obviously so their own acts could win, nothing to do with talent then. I am fed-up of Louis and Simon's childish behaviour as judges, its about time they realised its not about them winning the show - but talented contestents winning and if they can't make unbiased descisions then they should not have the right to choose which act goes home. Laura should not have been voted off by them as she has one of the best voices in the competition. The whole thing is turning into a farce - don't waste your money voting! I for one will not be watching anymore as talent is not being recognised.

This week was totally unfair and no one should have gone, Diana didn't perform so they should all have been given a by into next week. I doubt very much that Diana would have been able to pull off a Mariah number as her vocals are screechy and weak. She is very quirky and cute but singer....uh hello. All that VT of her being 'so sick with laryngitis' yet she still managed to pop on the false eyelashes, lip gloss etc plus on X-Factor Extra she was at a bonfire in the week screaming into the camera "Toffy Apples"!!!?? I thought Laura was great and so was Ruth and neither should have been in the bottom two. Unfair this week and the show is all favoured twoards Diana ..she could sing the frog song and the judges would rave over it. The show is a farce and i'm switching off

Shame on louis!! All tactical if you ask me. He knew Laura was a threat so made sure she went. He should've let the public decide and let it go to deadlock. Its all wrong!! I like Ruth and Laura and don't think they should've been in the bottom two, although Alexandra's my fave. Get Daniel and Rachel off, who is voting for them?! Last week Rachel was a total whinge, she should've been pleased she was saved, she wonders why shes in the bottom two, its because her voice isn't that good and she has a horrid personality!

I really liked laura but in the sing off, as soon as ruth said what song she was going to be singing i knew laura was going. Gutted that diana couldn't sing i really like her. Cant believe daniel and rachel are still in, its so pathetic, proper sympathy votes. Alexandra is my favourite, she sang that song amazingly. Eoghan was good too which suprised me and jls wornt bad either. But the biggest shock was that the xfactor finalists sang hero better than mariah carey did!

THE JUDGES NEED TO START BEING JUDGES AND NOT BEING PETTY AGAINST EVERY1 ELSE.I REALLY DONE UNDERSTAND WHY DANIEL IS STILL IN IT......LAURA IS FAR BETTER THEN HIM!!!!

laura shouldn't have gone last night. but equally, nor should ruth, i like both of them. i was shocked to see them in the bottom two. Just like last week, shock bottom two (to the public, i agreed that rachel should have been there), and the wrong decision was made...rachel should have gone. she's been consistently bad since bootcamp, austin had been consistently good since his first audition.
daniel shouldn't be there anymore, he should have gone weeks ago.

Look we all know this shows been fixed since Will Young won it Simon wanted Gareth Gates to win cos' he knew he could controll him but instead he got stuck with Will who wouldnt play the game at the end of the day its all about making money and they make sure the winner will do as they are told, so my prediction Rachel will NOT win no one will ever tell her what to do i'm amazed she's still there, let Daniel win then he can have a Christmas number one with Gloria Gaynors hit "i will survive"

Avril! Do you really think that it is the public that is voting? Quite niaive considering recent competition scandals.
This is just a money making exercise for a few people. There is little talent there, but, be assured that one of them will be the Christmas number one.

Laura's perfromance last night was rubbish but i don't think she should have been booted out.
Diana laid in bed with full make up looked like a smurf gagging for sympathy when in fact it had the reverse affect which made us crack up with the hysterics. This was so staged and how handy to fall ill because she would never have been able to sing a Mariah song, just like she couldn't sing a disco song which was the previous weeks choice.
The whole show is a farce but i have to say Daniel was quite good last night but not the best singer or entertainer.
Alexandra is knock out and if she fails to win i wont be tuning in ever again even though i was a Laura fan.

Actually I think Louis and Simon made the right decision. Ruth's rendition of "knocking on heaven's door" was probably one of the best performances I've ever seen on the x factor, my fiance who hates this show thought the same too. Glad Laura is gone, the next one who needs to go is shoe-less Diana.

Most of the time i couldn't make out the words she was singing. She has a lazy kind of voice and slurs her way through songs up until she hits the big notes at the end, and then she's good. I also think she was voted off because it was in the papers last week that she was seeing one of the producers. People who watch that programme want normal people to win who have come from nothing and are just like themselves, not ones who are seen to be given a helping hand along the way. Alexandra has the best voice by far.

Laura shouldn't of been voted out, she has a unique voice and raw talent - not like some other people, whom are allowed to skip a week and actually sound like she's always got a throat infection!

diana - the reason you have this throat infection is because you force that 'noise' out your mouth... learn to sing and don't rely on the cute factor!


totally unfair this week that she was allowed to skip a week?! where other contestants with throat infections solider on.... it all comes down to desire to win and determination, and i'm affriad she's far too young to know this.

How can two brilliant singers be voted into the bottom two when you have people like Rachel who can`t sing generally and who`s prefomance on the night was nowhere near the high standards of the other finalists. Even Daniel was good but nowhere near as good as the others. It now looks clear we have another phone rigging scandal,or its "Sob Story Factor" as even Simon, Dannii and Cheryl, could not believe the results. Will not be watching again unless there is a recount or a new vote

At the end of the day its the public who are voting! who are they voting for? A guy who could have a good carreer on the "cruises for people who don't do cruises" and a Racheal who quite frankly the longer she goes on in the show is proving the kind of person she was and still is! I know many of my friends are now going to boycott watching the show. So come on Simon stand up and tell the public you will pull the show unless peolpe vote for the best talent not a sob sorry, for goodness sake!

Do you not think that the public are anti-laura cos of her involvement with one of the executives on the show, the public obviously thought that she was safe etc, not voted and hey presto she was in the last 2. just goes to show that even the favourites arent safe and all need votes.

Poor Laura, I feel so sad for her, How can you put someone as obviously talented as her up against Eoghan & Daniel, both of them are OK don't get me wrong but Daniel is a club singer and Eoghan is a School disco singer there is no comparison, what are the British public thinking about when they put her in the bottom two & what were the judges thinking about when they voted her out against Ruth. It's all about the judges and the power that they have and all this endless bickering between them.

I can't believe that 2 talented ladies were both in bottom tw0. Laura was my fave to win the show, i loved her voice, she was also lovely person. I think when the show see the results they should keep phone lines until it changes. Daniel and Rachel are in the Sob factor, and im really beginning to resent them, im not going to watch anymore, because its not about who is the most talented, whohas the biggest sob story. I actually new a contestant on x factor, and he had had such a hard life and he never really played on it, and thats what i admire.

We keep getting told she has a raw talent. Reality is she just can't sing! Apart from being rough as you know what. She looks and sounds terrible. Horrible person, horrible personality. God help us if she was to win. Less diva and more tyrant I would imagine.

Tonights result was an absolute farce, there was obviously some kind of stategic voting going on by simon and louis. I think simon will snap Laura up for his own record label and Louis just sent her home to mix the competition up a bit (as everyone thought Laura was a strong contestant for the final) plus what's going on with the public votes in the first place?!...Laura has an absolutely outstanding voice so for her to be in the bottom two compared to some of the other singers is ridiculous.
