TWINDESCRIBABLY POOR
EXTRAORDINARY footage has been unearthed of John and Edward howling and gurning their way through a song in another talent contest.
But the pair, then 17, charmed their way on to the competition's JUDGING panel. And their performance on it was just as appalling.
Promoter Robert Stephenson said: "I've been in the business for 30 years and never come across a pair with more cheek than these two boys. They're going far."
Jedward rocked up to the final of the BlastBeatUK contest in Dublin's concert hall in May. Despite not being in the semi-finals they persuaded Robert to give them a go and performed a dire unaccompanied rendition of the Backstreet Boys' As Long As You Love Me.
As judges, one of their verdicts was: "They weren't... didn't know what was up against them, what the overall, erm, how they had to perform... just did what... erm."
But Robert, boss of BlastBeatUK, which helps youngsters break into entertainment insisted: "They might not be the best singers but they could be the next Ant and Dec."

They are good at singing all the way with john and edward i dont understand why peopl dont like them and even tho i like them i thought it was so funny when calvin harris put a pineapple on his head lol .......

To be the next Ant and Dec, the twins must be likeable characters and I'm not sure they are.
I think they're a five minute wonder and good luck to them - and praise-be to the Great British Public for not 'playing the game'. :-)

They seem to take criticism everyweek and come back bouncing. For 17 year olds they certainly show professionalism, they roll with the punches and keep on going. That is a sign that they will go far on emotional intelligence. They are different and they are fun. X Factor producing the unpleasant opposite of Leona last year has proved to be a dried out old format. We need something fun and entertaining. We're going thru a recession for goodness sakes! Break a leg guys!

To me i would say they are like entertainers, i didn't think they would last this long in x factor 85% of the time im write.I thought lucie would last another week, when she went. I think stacey will go within two weeks. Olly or dany to win.
