The lusty Essex boy this week called it off with Laura Henderson, a singer from flop girl band Project A.
The pair started dating four months ago after meeting at Boot Camp, where Olly Murs, 25, also bedded another wannabe.
Last month he and Laura were photographed kissing and cuddling in a London park near the X Factor house where the remaining contestants are staying.
They looked the picture of happiness, with Laura, 21, putting her legs on his lap as he nuzzled into her.
Laura, who works for a promotions firm, insisted she was "not jealous about the female attention he gets", despite her X Factor rival Carmella Rinaldo, 22, having also shared a wild night at Boot Camp with Olly.
But he can't resist the attention, ripping his shirt open during last week's performance of Beatles hit Come Together.
Laura, a cheerleader for the Leeds Rhinos rugby team, announced the split on her Twitter page this week, stating: "I am not going out with Olly!! Sorry to disappoint, but leave it now guys, getting annoying."
An unaware Rachel Adedeji, who got the axe last week, seems to have prompted the snide announcement after asking her: "How's things with Olly wolly going?"
Earlier in the week Laura sent a message to Olly's fellow contestant and room-mate Danyl Johnson saying sorry to him and Jamie Afro for a breakdown she'd had.
Laura said: "sorry if my drunken rambling to oliver last night kept u n fro up babe :( i'm an idiot!"
A friend of Olly's said: "Olly sees Laura as just one of the many women who have fallen into his lap since his face turned up on telly.
"For him, it was never a serious thing. He slept with another woman at the same Boot Camp where he met Laura - that should tell you all you need to know.
"He always wanted to be single during his time on the X Factor - and that's why he dumped his girlfriend Keli Flower right before going on it. Olly was also a bit annoyed when those photos of him and Laura together were taken. He had no idea there was a photographer nearby, but suspected Laura was more than happy to have some publicity. At the end of the day, her band couldn't even make it to the finals alongside the likes of Jedward.
"Yet Olly stands a chance at becoming Britain's next big thing. Ultimately he just wanted to be single during the show, and saw the fling with Laura as a bit of a wobble in his drive for success.
"I'm not saying Olly is big-headed. But he is a 25-year-old man with the world at this feet. Why be tied down?"
Hairdresser Keli, 23, admitted Olly callously dumped her because he thought she would get in the way of his fame.
She said: "I honestly thought he could be the one. But then he just turned around and said he wanted to end it."
Olly has been linked to other women recently, including fellow contestant and Essex girl Stacey Solomon, 20.
Olly vowed: "I'm going to date her one day . . . she looks beautiful."

Keith Price - the binman didn't win the show! Get your facts right.

I can't see what any woman would see in this arrogant cockney wannabe Tommy Steele. His dancing is like a granddad at a wedding and his singing very like the binman who won the show and was never heard of again
