PhotosDESPITE giving Whitney a standing ovation last week, judge Dannii Minogue thinks her performance was AWFUL. She admitted after the show: "The first Google alert I had the morning after was, 'Houston! We Have A Problem!"
Dannii added: "It is beyond crazy. Her dress came undone and she was kind of tripping over it. And to be honest her voice just isn't what it was."
She then poked fun at Whitney's after-show interview with show host and our columnist Dermot O'Leary. Dannii, 38, laughed: "So Dermot says, 'You've been mentoring the 11 acts this week, how do you feel about that?'
"There was this huge pause and she looked down at her feet and she's kind of fumbling around.
"She's like, 'Ah, hang on, let me get this right, I don't want to muck this up here.' Then she just says, 'erm . . . young!'"
The previous week Robbie Williams was the star guest but struggled through his performance after a stage door wouldn't open.
Dannii, set to appear on Piers Morgan's Life Stories next month, said: "The thing is, all of the huge stars that come and perform on our show just freak out. I don't know why they do. But let's say it is Simon Cowell.
"It's definitely not me!"

I live in Australia and DANNI is a joke her best known as KYLIES sister,she has no real talent and cannot sing,yeah she starred in HOME AND AWAY many years ago but thats about all she has done,she has the cheek too pick on Whitney was has sold over 100 million records .......danni grow up your just a jealous woman with no talent

Danni's comments were Diplomatic to say the least.Miss Houston puffed & panted and struggled to sing her mediocre song.When speaking to Dermot she appeared to be addled,smashed and very confused.Good for Danni for speaking the truth.

Danni Minogue is a NO HOPER LOSER. Always has been. Never has a successful record or been able to make it in the biz. She has always lived in the shadow of her sister KYLIE & should really stay out of the plastic surgeons office otherwise she'll end up looking completely like a wax doll. Danni should take a good look at herself before criticising others.

Whitney ain't no punk. She probably had a good feeling that Danni would bash. O'jays said it best "they smile in your face, all the while they wanna take your place BACKSTABBERS". That is what Danni is: a BACKSTABBER. I don't even know who Danii is. Why didn't she say those things to Whitney in private if she really felt that way. Danii is a jealous, backstabbing. (you fill in the blanK). Was Danii so jealous because Simon Cowell was enamored with her. Typical female. You rock Whitney!!!

At last a judge speaking the truth, I agree with you 100% Dannii, the whole thing was a shambles.
What a come down for Whitney, it was like watching an amatuer. Cheryl tried but I do not think I would buy either Whits or Cheryls cd going on the voice alone. By the way Lucy was brilliant and did not deserve Simons comments. Simon did not tell Cheryl she had lipstick smeared all over her upper lip and chin last week, yet had to point out a petal on Lucys head! The performance was almost faultless, a slight wobble on the long note but otherwise brilliant. I thought she and Joe and Miss Frank were the best in the show. Danyl is constantly good, but has not captured the first magical performance of "WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS" Good luck Danni.

i do like dannii, but hey cut whitney some slack this is her 1st come bk in about 10years!!!! i thought she did good considering also i think dannii has a cheek to comment, when did we last here her sing???? also when do u ever here of her except on the x factor now????
