Afro got me bare-o with an Aero

JAMIE Afro is a Smartie when it comes to ladies - even having his chocs away with a pretty singer he met while giving away Aero bars!

Smitten Aimee Buchanan, 30, (above) was sweet on the X Factor hopeful from the moment they got chatting.

And between the sheets, she said he was simply Aero-dynamic!

Aimee told the News of the World: "He was a conscientious lover who made me feel very special, and I loved being intimate with him.

"He has a great physique and, put it this way, he has nothing to be ashamed about."

Big-haired Jamie, 34, reckons he has bedded around FIFTY sex-hungry fans who have gone to see him at his pub gigs.

But HE invited Aimee to one of his shows after they bonded giving away chocolate bars for £10 an hour in central London.

Aimee recalled how their friendship bubbled into romance. "We had a lot in common - we were both unemployed performers working to pay the bills when we'd rather be on a stage. We had some great banter and by the end of the day I fancied him."

Jamie - whose Afro is so huge he says he does not need a pillow - asked her to a gig a couple of days later at the Halfmoon venue in Putney, south-west London.

Liverpool-born Aimee giggled: "As soon as he saw me he made a beeline for me and bounded over with a massive grin on his face. He introduced me to his mates so I wouldn't be on my own while he played.

"There were all these girls at the front vying for his attention but he kept glancing over at me and flashing his big smile. It felt like he was performing just for me.

"Afterwards he was chatting away to some girls, smiling and posing for pictures, but all the time he kept looking over at me.

"I told him I loved his energy and presence. He looked absolutely made up, as though my opinion was the only one that mattered."The couple went on a few dates to restaurants and bars before Jamie invited Aimee for a home-cooked dinner in his flat.

She said: "He had asked all his flatmates to clear off, so it was obvious he was planning a romantic evening. I wore tight jeans and a blue top that showed off my figure. I guess it was also obvious that I was in the mood for romance."

Jamie rustled up a stir-fry which she said was "average at best".

She went on: "But it added to his charm and we had a laugh about his cooking skills. We had a bottle of wine or two and by the end of the night we were on the sofa giggling like schoolkids."

Sizzling

Aimee then spotted Jamie's guitar, and asked him to play. He chose the Eric Clapton ballad Wonderful Tonight.

Aimee giggled: "Usually I would have cringed if a guy had done something like that, but he was so sincere it had the opposite effect. I told him it was amazing and he leaned in and kissed me.

"It was electric. I couldn't resist his charms any longer - and things went on from there."

The couple embarked on a sizzling affair for three weeks but it fizzled out when Jamie started working on a demo and Aimee was busy auditioning for shows. She sighed: "It became impossible to keep the relationship up."

The pair are still friends, and Aimee has been following him on The X Factor. She said: "I decided to speak out because I want everyone to know that Jamie is the same guy you can see every Saturday on the television. He is lovely, caring and the gentleman he is perceived as.

"He really deserves every success and I hope he wins - there's nobody who deserves it more."
