i think danyl is fab ,all judges wanted him in thier category from day one ,now they not got him they say hes (cocky ,arrogant ,over confident ,)they just jealous and afraid for thier own acts ,cant take the competetion being stronger ,give it a rest now and give the boy the respect he deserves for his talent.

I am growing so tired of Danyl now. He needs to GROW UP and remember it's a competition - there is bound to be some criticism - Danyl cannot possibly think he is going to get positive comments 100% of the time. The performance where he looked as though he was about to cry was pathetic - if he isn't able to take criticism, he shouldn't be in the competition. I think Danyl's problem is that he isn't connecting to the public at all. He needs to lose the smugness or he'll end up in the bottom 2 again. Sure, he wasn't cocky during the poor rendition of "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing", but the fact he was trying to get votes by acting like a kicked puppy was just pathetic.
I hope Danyl goes.

I feel that the public are acting like sheep by suporting the favourites. danyl is far from 'cocky' and the comments by the judges saying that danyl is are a personal attack on him and not his signing which they should be commenting on. Also in my opinion his singing is flawless and i suspect they no that to and can not fault him in that area.

Am I missing something? Don't really read the tabloids, but why are the judges comments so personal with Danyl? Last nights song was not his best but overall I think he's a great performer. On the show he never comes across as cocky, always accepts judges comments, are others seeing a different side to him somewhere else? Or are these 'he's so cocky' views based on how he looks while performing? If so who wants to see a scared mouse on stage??? Also how is it Danyls fault if Simon chooses to stand when applauding him??

I live in Spain so therefore do not read the english press anymore but keep hearing about all the awful things that have been said about him. I heard today he had death threats, I just don,t understand at all what the poor guy is guilty of....
He comes across as a nice guy, very confident, and bloody good at what he does....
I have supported him on my Twitter and would like to think other people will do the same.......
Come on Danyl, don,t let the ignorant, un educated, rude, nasty, obnoxious people get to you. Keep singing your socks off and I hope you win, you are great and your rendition of I get by with a little help was truly mind blowing, I loved it...

I really don't understand what's going on. Finally, we've got some decent talented singers on the show, Danyl being one of the better ones, and low and behold, we have to drag his personal life through the papers and slag him off at every possible chance. I am confused, this is a singing competition isn't it? Danyl can sing his heart out, can he not? He is an attractive, young and talented artist and therefore a great contender for winning this competition, is he not? Yet Cheryl is nit picking about "not getting him" - you don't need to get him, just listen to him sing!! I am a fan of Cheryl's also, but was disappointed with the vocals on her 'live' performance so see why she is maybe a little jealous of him, perhaps that is the real problem. Half the pop world is gay, bisexual, straight, on drugs, have police records - do we care, no we do not. What happened to just liking the music and respecting the artists that put themselves out there to provide the music for us. Vote for your favourite artists on X Factor, no one is safe whilst the ones that cannot sing or perform are still on the show.

I'm amazed by some of these comments. Those who think Danyl can't sing are utterly tone DEAF!!!
He is an amazing all round entertainer, who is confident when he needs to be during the performance and suitably humble afterwards. He eclipses all the others in terms of talent. Cheryl Cole is jealous as his voice is a million times more powerful than hers and is not doing her job properly.
Her ego functions as the judge in this and not her expertise. Danyl should win, he is the most talented person to come forward in years.

I am a loyal x factor fan and cant believe the comments danyl is getting he is one of the strongest in the comp, i feel like i have missed something, i just dont get all the hassle he is getting, cheryl and danni need to lay of,is it jealousy or are they just crackers, i must admit i dont vote when the show is on but after last wks bombshell (danyl being in bottom two) i feel i have to so that at least maybe jedward get were they belong in the bottom two, i advise all loyal fans to do the same dont just assume the best talent is safe because obviously they are not.

What on Earth has Danyl done besides sing well and confidently?! There is a Huge difference between cocky and confident. You would Have to be somewhat confident to appear on a live show like X Factor! Ever since Cheryl claimed he was being cocky the public minions have followed suit.
There is absolutely no justification for the awful things people are saying about this man. This is a singing contest and he's proven he is one of the talents of the show. Is this simply petty jealousy or a shocking atrocity to call someone more hated than hitler? I'm truly disgusted. These hate mongers should be ashamed of themselves.

I feel like I must be watching a different audition to some of the judges and the public or something: I simply CANNOT see how Danyl is cocky in any way. He is confident during his performances but that's because you can tell he is so passionate about singing and is just enjoying himself. Whenever he has finished his performance he stands there humbly listening to what the judges say without a complaint in the world. I am shocked that the judges constantly pick silly holes in his performances as he is by far the most talented. Especially Louis - when Jedward are the only act he's got left, I don't think he should sit there criticising Danyl.

Cheryl needs to stop her hate/bullying campaign against Danyl - it's embarassing to watch and only makes her look hideous. If Simon spoke to any contestant the way she talks to Danyl he would be made to apologise. Not Cheryl.
Danyl's voice is by far the best of the competition - far better than any of Cheryl's acts and may be she feels threatened by him?
I cant understand what Danyl has done to make himself "more hated than hitler" - I just really hope people dont vote him out this week on the back of vindictive Cheryl's comments about him.

Danyl is the best talent i have seen in britain for years there are many people who are famous and only becasue of who they are they have not actually achieved anything to be there. i never really get the likeability factor anyway it's a talent sho and Danyl has talent in abundance. i can't stand the way the press amnipulate the public and even more that the public believe they have their own opinion and not one influenced by tiresome bored people who just have to bitch, please remember they get paid for selling bad news about people they don't do it for free the worse the news the better the pay. furthermore if you live with a talented person they can really do your head in at times because creativity comes with its flaws but they are wirth it and so is Danyl

I must be watching a different show than most of you haters. Danyl has been very humble since his second audition. I get to watch this show via youtube. You have so much talent over there - much better than our American Idol. I am a Joe fan and my sister a Danyl fan. I have watched the video's many times and if I look at the whole x thing, Danyl deserves to win it all. He really is talented and it is a shame that some of the judges are saying some of the comments they have made. Makes me wonder why they are sitting on that panel. Good luck Danyl and Cheryl needs to really re-think why she is on the panel and get past the second audition and see him for what his is... a winner :)

Seriously... I can't believe why people keep saying Danyl is cocky when he is not. He is very confident so what? As far as I know a good performer and a good singer is about talent and confidence and sometimes looks. He has the full package! Would you prefer to see a winner with no confidence and not performing like a proper star? He performs like a star, he not just have a great voice he also entertains and never bores just standing in the same spot.
I don't know really why people keep complaining about cockiness when judges have been complaining about people lacking of confidence. I prefer million times watch someone who look self confidence to someone who will just stand and do nothing more on stage

Is anyone else becoming increasingly frustrated at how Simon Cowell feels the need to get out of his seat, applaud his smug act Danyl, whilst then looking down and smugly smirking at his fellow judges?! Danyl, I'm afraid, isn't THAT good enough to get a standing ovation after every single performance. Granted, he has a decent voice (not the best, though), but Simon practically gets out of his seat and applauds after every time cocky Danyl opens his mouth. Simon used to be renowned for not being easily impressed - now it seems like he just wants to make the other judges feel as though his acts are far superior to theirs. JOE to win!

I think Danyl is brilliant. He has been so consistent through the live stages when the pressure is really on. I don't understand how louis and cheryl can say he is cocky and unlikable and yet they don't say anything about Rachel, who I think comes across as arrogant and I thought her little speach after her performance last night was so obviously fake, she really annoys me! Danyl or Olly to win!!!

Danyl's cocky, arrogant, over-the-top, bigheaded - everything I dislike about a person. His voice isn't even that good - I would say he is only average -Jamie Afro and Joe McElderry are far superior to him vocally. Danyl thinks he has won it already, but there are more and more people who are finding his cockiness overly irritating. I'm also becoming frequently annoyed at how Simon stands up to applaud after each of Danyl's performances - in my opinion, Leona Lewis is out of Danyl's league by miles, and yet I fail to remember a time Simon gave her a standing ovation whilst she was a contestant. Simon is trying to force Danyl to appear better than he is, because you can tell Simon wants him to win. I look forward to the day Danyl's voted out.

I can't stand Danyl at all . He is so full of himself and comes across as bigheaded, over-confident, he is rubbish , he can't rally sing when it comes to it. I wish he is voted off sooooooooon. You can tell when he comes on to sing he gives this attitude like he's the best and a SUPERSTAR already ...too CORKY for me. He should remember that he is not a STAR yet, he should wait till when he is. Why can't he watch OLLY and Jaime the way they behave on TV?
