Alex: I'm the 1, Robbie
CHAMP Alexandra Burke is petrified about going head to head with Robbie Williams on tonight's X Factor . . . before she battles him for No1.
By a twist of fate, the two stars both release their new singles tomorrow.
It will be the biggest chart fight in ages, but I'm backing Celeb XS Icon Alex. Her punchy track, Bad Boys, featuring US hip hop star Flo Rida, is better than Rob's comeback, Bodies.
I chatted with Al as she prepared to return to the X.
And taking on Robbie - who had a hit with She's The One - wasn't her only worry.

She told me: "I'm nervous about going back on the show, who wouldn't be? It's The X Factor. I'll be back in front of the panel - and Simon Cowell, which is extra nerve-racking!
"But I'm excited and I can't wait to see what people think of my album, Overcome. We've worked hard on the performance of Bad Boys for the show, so I hope everyone tunes in."
Bad Boys is already the biggest iTunes single pre-order EVER. It can be downloaded from today.
A music source said: "There's a lot riding on Robbie's comeback. so if Alex can deny him the No1 it will be a really big deal."

The biggest pre-order ever? you must be joking, that crap wouldn't even make it in America. It's funny how Britain has come to have the most rubbish music to hit the 21st century. Least Robbie Williams can stand out from this crowd.

She deserves it. The song is better than Robbie, but that's my opinion.
Her performance is gonna be amazing when she performs it on X-Factor tonight. We all know she can put on a REAL SHOW!

Yes I know who I would rather see in concert Alex-X-factor can on ly take people so far and it is down to the ability of the performer. Alex can sing, dance and is a great girl.I am sure she will prove on X-factor tonight that she has a great career ahead of her.

but Alex's is quite good and we all know it will probably be number 1 because of the XFactor tie in.

i think robbie should be number i know which i would rather see in concert and alex is only there cos of x factor so she never really have to work to get to number 1

Robbie is great and Alex is great-I like both their songs and am glad that they showcase what this country has to offer.
Alex for No 1 though-she is still the underdog.

Robbie's new song is fab give the guy a break he has come back after 3 years and if you really listen to his song like i have you will know its a winner ....Don't just listen to the music listen to the words it does help you know..

I never really took to her. It seems to me that she cannot wait to turn into a diva. She lusts after the fame and celebrity, she isn't driven by the music.

Badboys without Florida is equally good-stop knocking Alex if you dont like her go away.She has a big future ahead of her and I really like Robbie too but Alex for No 1.

How is it pathetic marketing? He is going to get her lots of free publicity from the show for her and if she had of released a quick album over the winter it would have been overkill. She has now had the opportunity to go and make a good record, with flo rida and get it out there.
She would have been in competition with the winner of this show because she would have had to release another album at x-mas or so anyway.
