Scott Bruton voted off X Factor

I dont understand why all off you are going on about Scott acting like a spolit child! "Don't x factor mentors prepare them for the fall, don't they at least tell them what they should and should not do in front of live camera's???" ermmmm no becasue its a reality TV show note REAL in reality you silly girl!!!!

Scott should have gone and I am glad he did [:. He should not of even got to the finals. He stood there like a sulky little 2 year old that just found out that pizza was not for dinner. Someone has to go and it was him thank god. Did he really think that he was going to win?. He should of said well done to Daniel aswell insted of just stand there sulking. [:

Scott cut his hair and that finished it for me..but if I had to choose in between the older kareoke singer that plays on peopls sympathy then I have to say it's not really that hard, Scott would have been voted off eventually but he deserved at least another week..Daniel must be voted off next week because otherwise some real singers might be lost..Im sorry for the loss of his wife but not everyone who's wife has died has the Xfactor in his pocket.I hate the way he plays the emotions of the judges,are they really that gullible?

I honestly think the right decision was made... Daniel sang the final song much better than Scott. And Scott acted like a spoilt child from the moment he found out he was in the bottom two. He didn't put the effort into his last song, and got voted off because of it. Someone with that attitude would not get far in the music industry.

I think people are being harsh to Daniel - yes, his wife died, but he hasnt gone on about it all the time. I dont think the judges voted him because of a sob story... I think they voted Daniel through because his passion was amazing in his final song. And I cant stand Loius Walsh, but think his emotion showed that he wasnt voting off Scott to get to Simon. Daniel moved him and I think it swayed his opinion of him.

i can not believe tht scott got voted off by the judges. Daniel is rubbish singer and shudnt be in the show. the judges yet again fell for the sob story. i wunder if he talks about his wife next week when he is in the bottom two and wonder what those thick judges do then. Should of gone to dedlock and scott would of stayed in

They both sucked, but I'm glad the schoolboy went first. Daniel will probably go next week, but if Scott stayed this week he might have squeaked through again because of the judges votes, and we might have lost someone who can actually sing!

I am loving the x-factor this year but was truly disgusted by Scott getting voted off by the judges. Scott is a better singer by miles. I think the poor boy has been wrongly voted off because of Louis competition towards Simon. Totaly shocked by the results, more so from Louis when he has said nothing nice about Daniels voice from the start. I think Daniel is a nice guy and I am truly sorry for his loss but Scott could of went on to do exceptionally well in the competition. Daniel wont.

I'm a 50 year old woman and if i saw Daniel singing in a pub I'd think very nice, but not on saturday night tv, and yes it's just cos everyone feel's sorry for him that he's still there but he's never going to win, I would love Rachel to win, but I live in Bury so I've got to give my support to Laura and I think she is brill but I do love rachel and ruth.

Scott is barely out of his school uniform and yet he still behaves like a spoilt schoolkid - very unprofessional behaviour and extremely embarrassing. He should learn to put on a front no matter what life throws at him and if he can't handle not getting his own way then he shouldn't have entered this competition in the first place - who will want to give Scott in a break in the music industry after he behaved like that! Don't x factor mentors prepare them for the fall, don't they at least tell them what they should and should not do in front of live camera's???
At least Daniel smiles no matter what happens to him even though deep down he was probably crushed under that smile. However, Daniel should not have used his departed wife as an excuse to sway the judges - that was also very unprofessional. All contestants should be banned from using emotional blackmail at outset of the show and should not be allowed to use sympathy cards to pull in the votes. Have they no self respect or dignity - God, this is personal and private stuff!!!

Rachel or Laura will win this competition - go girls!

I enjoyed everything last night until the when the result time came.I felt really bad for the judges when they save Daniel who does not have x-factor on him at all but sympathetic story about his dead wife.I believe the judges were caught off guard and couldnt reason enough ths why they ended up choosing him,this guy just wanted to win them the four judges hurt and he did it,shame on him,please dont ruin this good tv programme,let it be purely a talented show with merit.Everyone has come across some form of challenge in their life time in one way or another,so lets not use this as an excuse,please make this as a requirement for people applying to sing at x-factor next time or else this programme will turn to be a total crap.

Laura - Cracking singer, delivers every week but has to watch she doesnt get too over confident.

Diana - Just so mesmerising to watch - her performance of With or Without You was just pure magic - my tip to win.

Alexandra - Playing catch up after 2 very predicatable weeks - great singer and will come close but I think the other 2 girls have got the edge.

Eoghan - Got a good voice but doesnt really appeal to the market that X Factor is aiming for - would be better suited to musicals I think.

Austin - Clearly the best singer in Simon's group, he is delivering every week and has got a very powerful voice - got a really good chance of winning.

JLS - Really like these guys - if X Factor was just based on pop and r n b, these guys would win easily as they are such a great group.

Daniel - Clearly not a great singer, hasnt got the X Factor and you kind of wonder why he was actually picked for the final 12 as he has no chance of winning - shame on you Dannii.

Ruth - She is really starting to come out of her shell now - her performance of Purple Rain was one of the best performances I have ever seen on X Factor - just truly amazing.

Rachel - Last night she finally showed she is very much in the running - really like her ever since her 1st audition and I just think sometimes Dannii tend to favour Ruth a bit too much as Rachel doesnt always agree with Dannii and I wonder if that is gonna cost her a chance.

I was really enjoying the show up untill the sing offs, I knew as soon as Daniel said he was singing for his wife (yet again, sob sob) that Scott would be voted off. Louie should have left it to the public vote, after all it is us the public that pays for the calls to vote. I agree he should have gone out, but that it should have been after week one. Hope next weeks show is better, and that the judges vote on talent and not against each other.

Daniel played the 'I HAVE A DEAD WIFE' trump card, Scott knew immediately he wasnt getting through when Danile announced that and so did Simon, Simon's face changed colour, we all knew that this would win over Cheryl and Lou.
Scott is not the best singer on the show but he was far better than Daniel, in truth Daniel is a good pub singer, he wont go far, who is going to purchase his CD or even download his music on illegal sites. This guy is going nowhere, at least Scott stood a chance, I wonder if his housemates knew already about his other two children. He didnt deserve to win, I hate this sympathy vote, why wast viewers time, I think its the year of the girls, come on Rachel and the gals

really the one with the lowest veiwers votes should be the one that goes.That's why WE VOTE. If you have to have the judges imput at the end, then why don't they do it like 'Come dancing' and give a number from 1 to 10 and add it to the veiwers vote. Then lowest vote 'overall' goes. That would stop the judges trying to out do each other.

I agree withthem all, Dan is a really nice guy, and he pulled at my heart strings last night, but i don't believe he has the x factor, and he should go. Scott however, im glad he has gone, coz his reaction was pathetic!!, He should have been proud of how far he had got, Also i do believe that its not on talent anymore its all about the judges and i don't think that right, OGHAN OR JLS TO WIN .........

Daniel was the better singer in the sing-off, and deserved to stay..I'm pretty certain he'll struggle next week (disco) and that he'll be in the bottom two once again. Even though Louis had criticised Daniel's earlier performance, I don't think he voted tactically, he was clearly moved at Daniel's emotive performance, and quite rightly sent Scott home.
However, it may be better just to leave it to the public vote instead of the judges once it gets to the live shows.


I really couldn't see Scott going much further anyway, or any of the other male contenders come to that.

Scott was lacking confdence all week apparently and to be in the bottom two didn't seem a surprise to him but to discover that he was up against Daniel who was singing in memory of his wife Scott knew he didn't stand a chance. Not a fair contest. Daniel just happened to sing one of Louis' favourite songs and he said himself he was never going to not save Daniel after he singing that song...! Hypocrite!!!
Do away with the judges votes they are totally farcical!

Daniel, or "Dead Wife Bloke" as I call him, sang his heart out last night and convinced the judges, 3 of them mind, not just Louis, to keep him in. He's not going to win the competition so it's just a matter of time. Scott was unlikely to win either so does it really matter who got voted off? When this is all over we are likely to end up with yet another 'Diva' belting out R en B crap that we've all heard before. Wobbly-Voice-Wavey-Hand girl is beginning to grate on me and I suspect her unique vocal style is going to start irritating people soon. Was it just my telly or did Blondy Norn Irish boy sound totally out of tune? It thought he was dreadful. Ruth certainly discovered her two major appeals so expect to see a lot more of the twins as she tries to distract the judges. And speaking of Judges, Danni Minogue is far more attractive than Sticky McCole. And if its sob stories you like just wait until Gansta Girl starts shoving her "life story" down our throats as the competition hots up towards the end.

Why is there a sing off between the two bottom people. The public phone in to vote for their favorites - surely the person with the least public votes should go - not leave it to the judges - who have their own agendas and egos to pursue. I feel sorry for Scott - in my opinion he was not the worst one. Why is it also that the female singers all have props - backing dancers to enhamce their (often) dire performances! It's an unfair advantage. Alexandra was awful - could not understand her at all - yet Simon was ga ga over her - or was it just her short skirt and breasts - Talent should win - somthing that many of the contestants don't have.

Thats the reason DANNY has been voted in (pls mite i just add, this is dannys first week in bottom 2, unlike scott!) is beoz the public are sick of these spoilt children winning that think the are "owed" fame! I am absolutely livid, how two faced can the judges be. Louis Walsh kept Daniel in to annoy Simon, he has lost all credibility. Cheryl Cole voted for Daniel as Scott was a genuine contender. How low can you go to use this never ending sob story, I will not be watching again, the whole show is a JOKE.

I dont think they should have a judges vote any more. It should be just the public vote or even the audience, although youve got the families there I still think it would be better having the other half of the studio audience vote than silly loui( who just likes to get one over on simon), Ive never been so angry than I was last night and I wasnt a big fan of either of them... I would love a group to win this year, Its getting to the point when you know the top 3 in week one!!

Hate to say it but Scott seemed dejected as soon as he realised he was in the bottom two and his sing off wasn't good at all, whereas Daniel did give it his all. If it was based on just those performances Scott deserved to go. And that's from someone who is sick to the teeth of sob stories and doesn't even think Daniel should've made the top 12 - sure he wouldn't have got there if it hadn't have been for the sob story. Though he deserves some consolation for letting them dye his hair ginger I suppose!!

It should have gone to the public vote.Louis hasnt liked any of his performances to date yet saves him after that song. He should have sent it to deadlock instead of making himself look like a hypocrytical wet fish.
Its obvious those looneys cant pick a winner. They slate Daniel then save him at the end?! If he had the lowest public vote then fair enough, after all, we are the ones who would be buying his albums if he won......or maybe not!!!

Unfortuantly Dan used the fact of his dead wife to influence the judges with the words and the emotion of the song.
There is no way Dan has a chance to go all the way , Scott on the other hand looked down and out before he even started his second song, once he knew Dan had played the " tear jerker " card he probably knew his time was limited.
This sets a very dangerous presedent for the show, I hope that a lot is made of this and the judges judge on who has the X factor , not the saddest sob story.

Great night until the judges made their final decision and decided that Daniel had more X factor than Scott. I never email my comments to forums etc however i am so disgusted that the judges play these silly games. It is not 'who's got the best sob story'. Don't mean to be harsh as i am glad that Daniel made it to the final 12 as I'm sure that he'll now have a career doing clubs/ships etc...however he doesn't have the X factor so he has to go. I'm sure it won't be long... unless he keeps singing sad songs and the judges save him... who know's.
