I completely agree with Lee. I find women like this becoming seen as role models to young girls quite sickening. I also dislike how this article is presented, almost as if it was a good thing she spurned her apparent chance of a "law degree" to choose the path she did.

We should be encouraging young girls to succeed academically and for their brains, telling them they have something to offer beyond their bodies and not sexualising them from a young age as if their aim in life should be to become a model or something worse. It worries me that my daughter is growing up in a world in which this is increasingly not the case, but thankfully she and her friends see through it.

Their singing wasn't that bad and they looked great. They should never have made it as far as they did. They all seem like likeable girls and should never have been put in the position of being slagged off. And who wouldn't want to appear in a porn film with Vicky. People are just so judgemental over nothing. This girl is trying to do something out of her life is it not better to strip than laze around ripping hard working people off tax through benefits.

As for Cheryl Cole she can't sing that is a fact & not fiction. Her appaling singing on X factor (whch was very agonising to watch) proved that yet again. Taking everything into consideration Kandy Rain sing far better than her she is (supposed to have been singing in the last 5-6 years professionally).

Worst still she commented on John & Edward who are (the weakest vocally amongst all x factor contestants) but without a shadow of doubt sing FAR better than Cheryl.

Kandy Rain were terrible right from the start. I knew they'd be out first -they were useless singers AND looked trashy. Cheryl & Dannii were right - the girls said themselves how they had moved on from being strippers etc, and yet came on stage looking like a group of tarts. If they could have held a tune, they would have gotten further. They were, however, simply useless.

The couldnt sing - which is why i would have voted them out. i don't think being a pole dancer is a bad thing and if they were trying to put it behind them then good for them (Y) i dont really think it matters much, and i think other people should leave them to it and stay out of their business. if you could look that good, im sure you would! give others a chance. they couldnt sing tho...

None of these girls have broken the law so what's the problem here? Give them a break and let their singing talent (or lack of it) alone decide their fate, just like with the other contestants. I didn't say that she thought she was a role model nikkip but if she is trying to make it as a singer, surely she knows that she will become a role model to young girls, therefore I do assume that she wants that.

I read an article which said she was going through tough times financially hence her stint as a stripper / porn star... so is the rest of the country / world but we aren't all gyrating on front of seedy men showing our most intimate parts off for all to see.

As X-factor is on at a family slot time on tv and is billed as a family show then surely people like this is what will cause its downfall. Can they not have rules e.g if been x-rated stripper or posing with knife online they get immediate disqualification. I'm sure they would if they had auditioned on britains got talent.
However it wont happen as sexy= big money in the music industry.
I would not like my daughter reading up on them on internet though ... god knows what web pages would come up if they googled their names.

x factor is a family show so therefore the winner should be someone who can be admired by all (adults and children alike)... if we're lucky we might take inspiration from the talented winner..
if this girl wins then we are saying she's the best and so end up with kids admiring and aspiring to be her (as apparantly this is what talent is)
that's why she's a (bad) role model whether she likes it or not. ok nikkip?
