Corkscrew hair's a big AFROdisiac
THERE'S a new Hairy Angel in town - X Factor hopeful Jamie Archer whose giant AFRO is already a big hit.
His curls are so popular with the girls he's bedded more than 50 female fans and even calls his act after his corkscrew mop - Jamie Afro.
The singer, 33, who stunned judges on last night's show, grinned: "Women often stare at my hair. They love it and want to run their hands through it.
"It's definitely helped me to pull. After one gig this girl came out to my car, threw her handbag on to my seat and said, 'So are you going to take me home then or what?' And did I? You bet I did!"
Pillow
Jamie - his dad William is from Guyana in South America and his mum Jeannie is English - reckons there are other perks to his bumper bouffant.
He laughed: "I don't need to use a pillow because my hair acts as one. But it takes so long to wash I have to put it in my diary. So if I get famous it will be like, 'interview, interview, hair, interview, interview, hair!"
Jamie, from Putney, south west London, used to work as a barman and in supermarkets but now makes a living out of performing.
But he's hoping his hair works its magic on the female celebs - including judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, as well as actress Sienna Miller.
He admitted: "Sienna's my perfect woman."
