Cheryl is really starting to get on my nerves! She is all over simon and desperate for his approval, and cannot sing a note.
Dannii on the other hand is so much more experienced and mature. She is more genuine and dignified.

I continue to watch this show with tongue in cheek what i can't quite get is the fact that the judges all look flaberghasted when the stupid acts come in but they have already had two auditions to get on the t.v. These wannabees really are wasting there time at the auditions as they don't want good genuine acts what they seem to forget is that many of the contestants spend a lot of money, lose there jobs etc to go there believing they stand a chance but the reality is its all rubbish and they don't meet the judges until their third audition. What good news its coming to an end.

You know what, im not tryna be rude but when i watch the show i hardly notice danni :S
i mean, she seems like a really sweet person and all but i guess shes not as popular as the other judges.
And as for you people calling cheryl emotional, thats unfair, the reason she cries is obviously because she finds it hard to see peoples dreams shatter infront of them. and PLUS, i think everyone needs a cuddle and a little cry after simon strikes !

Danni is the nicest judge on the show and the only one who says the actual truth. cheryl just sucks up to simon and shows off to everyone how much simon likes her and how pretty she is. she needs to see that danni hasnt done anything to her and cheryl just ignores her all the time..like when laura went off the show danni tried to confort cheryl and she just frowned at her. the cameras were on cheryl too much on the suditions and made it look like danni and cheryl hate eachother. if i was on the x factor i would want danni or louie as my mentor. simon and cheryl are too camera friendly and dont say the truth. they are also soo unfun with their acts. louie and danni are really fun with their acts like louie with JLS and danni with ruth. It was just an unlucky year for danni cz the producers gave danni the worst category and cheryl the best. next year i would like the panel to be simon, danni, louie and kick cheryl away and put on a new judge like lilly allen (she would like to be a judge) or someone like that. Louie may be really cheesy but he is soo funny and fun. danni has had to go through allot this year and its allover cheryl- the media were too interested in cheryl and treated danni like she was a disgrace. danni is a real woman you just havnt seen much of her this year in the auditons coz the media was too interested in the stuck up cheryl. cheryl is fake and louie if soo funny. x factor is the best but cheryl has taken over and i hope she gets thrown away next year!

dannii is the best judge by far and if they get rid of her i dont think i will watch it.
i dont mind cheryl but she does cry too much and she gets all of girls aloud's credit when she is clearly not the best singer.

I really don't care if they stopped the Xfactor. Simon saying he might quit is not true. Because he makes a lot of money frm it. In all fairness, if the show has to continue, all the judges needs to be on board. But it's really about the contestant and not the judges. Dannii is sweet and she takes time to care for her acts even to the extent buying things for them (Ruth/Rachael). She deserves to be in the show. Love her so much!!!!!!!!!!!!1

They'd be mad to bring Sharon back. Her outrageous salary demands showed that she thought she was X Factor's main draw, but without her they've had the most successful series ever.

Dannii is fantastic. She led the way last year by being the first judge in the show's history to actually spend time mentoring rather than just swanning in on a Saturday night. Simon Cowell himself admitted this! Now they have Dannii and Cheryl, who actually care about their acts, the show is much better.

Despite everyone wanting to pit Dannii and Cheryl against each other, they actually seem to get on well and have genuine respect for each other.

Also, compare the classy way Dannii has dealt with bad press this year to the way that Sharon couldn't cope and went on the offensive by describing Dannii in the most disgusting terms on Graham Norton's show. You'd never catch Dannii behaving in such an unprofessional way because she's a class act.

I think Cheryl did a great job on the X Factor, the only problem I have of her is that sees not critical enough of the performers when some have clearly given a bad or average performance.

I don't like Danni Minogue (or Kylie), but she is a great judge and I hope she returns to the X Factor next year because she does know what she's talking about. Simon Cowell the one I agree with the most, but I think all of the judges are brilliant and this year has been the best X Factor mainly because all judges and it's gone from a show that was a guilty pleasure to something that's now quite cool by having Cheryl and Danni on the show. It is sooooo obvious from his comments that Dannii is on the way out. Bring back Sharon. Even if it costs them two million it'd be a great end to the show. X-Factor has run it's course. It has become more of a media feeding frenzy about the contestants lives and the judges squabbles than about finding actual talent and has lost a lot of it's excitment. Simon is a smart man to leave while still on top and no way can X-Factor survive without him.

I think that Dannii gives valid comments, and Cheryl just wants to please the public she is sweet though after a while the crying gets on your nerves. The best act won though JLS will be stars. I just think that Simon likes to stir things up for the show in the papers so that everyone is wanting to see if the rumours are true for who will be in next year, he is very good at manipulating peoples views and makes lots of money for himself the man is not silly he wouldnt pull out of a show like this. Beyonce was the best she put Britney to shame............

I am sooo fed up with the negative press Danni gets. I have always like Danni & i think she can be just as glamourous. She probably doesn`t look as glamourous as Cheryl ( as the press say) but the only reason Cherly looks the way she does, is because she is no fatter than a twig. Get her to put some weight on, and i am sure she wont be as glamourous as danni. I seen how she looked on her pop rivals audition. I think Danni is so much better looking. I also think, as she has been at it a few years longer than Cherly, she knows a little more at what she is talking about. She has also had to audition to be were she is. I am sick of everyone giving danni the bad press she gets. C`min guys, lay off her. I would trust Danni any day over Cheryl.I think the judges gave Cheryl the most obvious catergory this year, but lets see how she gets on next year...and lets see if she is replaced by the new `woman of the moment`.

Making noises about leaving and saying he'll 'see how he feels in january' are just too obvious. Simon, no you cant leave X Factor, your the only truly honest person there you tell it how it is and to hell with peoples feelings you dont sugar coat things without you the quality of those who get through would drop.

the only possible person who could ever possibly replace Simon Cowell is the equally brutally honest (Nasty) Nigel Lithgoe who did Popstars, hes the only other person who i know tells it like it is.

in regards to Dannii, well if she dont come back then my suggestion would be get Leona Lewis on as a judge, like Cheryl Cole shes been through the process before and would really make next year really interesting.

Wendy I respect your opinion on Dannii but to say she shows little interest in her acts is completely untrue. Even Laura White, who was mentored by Cheryl, came out and said that Dannii is the only judge who bothered to get up early on Sunday mornings and attend the rehearsals - because she wanted to be there for her acts.

It's a shame that all the bad press directed towards Dannii this year has created so many misconceptions about what she is actually like.

Simon don't leave the x-factor dump American Idol instead, I think Cheryl and Louis are great judges but you are the only one that actually tell the contestants the truth about their performances even your own acts. Plus you are so sexy you emit an aura of power and that hairy chest is mmm, I would love to find you in my stocking(s) Christmas morning to unwrap ;)

Every comment shown in the vt last night was from Cheryl - the editing was sooo obviously in her favour. I want Dannii to stay, even if it is just to give her a fair crack of the whip next year with a different group (give Cheryl the over 25s!) and to see Cheryl sit on the end next to Louis! All this 'you are my angel','you did me proud' is rubbish - it should be about the artist and the song. Cheryl has a criminal record who bad mouths people in public but on tv looks all sweetness. Dannii was just truthful and did as well as she could with the acts that she had. Hope Ruth has a hit!

Does any judge on that show, judge the singing? It seems to be all praise for being a nice person, rather than the actual voice. "You did me proud". Well, how was the song? Did I hit a few bum notes, did I sing the wrong note..? Nothing constructive AT ALL.
And also this show is all about the judges, and never the acts.

Talent spotter my a****, Cowell has an eye for novelty acts and one hit wonders. Think of the acts who have won this show and went on to long sucessfull careers? Not many and those that have, ie Will Young was not liked by Simon who wanted Gareth Gates to win and Leona who was the statistical aberation for a show which has been running for years ie Simon got lucky with her. Cowell you are a modern day Barnum and Bailley circus act, your level really is Zig and Zag mate. This show is dying on its a***

Again Simon read the forums. Dannii is a much better mentor and judge that Cheryl Cole (nee Tweedy). If I hear "my little angel" or "I am so proud of you" again the nausea will overtake me. Cheryl has nothing constructive to say to the acts in the way of guidance/criticism other than frankly cloying and irritating platitudes. As for all the nonsense that she brought extra viewers to the show... well I think that was more to do with the timing of Strictly but why let the truth get in the way of Spin. Please guys and girls bring some objectivity to this board and save Dannii.

Dannii is by far my favourite judge. She actually gives useful and constructive advice rather than "You're gorgeous" and "I thoroughly enjoyed it" like Cheryl.

I actually think Cheryl did a good job, especially as it was her first year. But I found her "caring" image and the way she never said anything remotely negative quite hard to swallow given how regularly she slags off other artists in the public eye.

As for Dannii, I'm not surprised she was emotional this year. The other judges said some horrible things about her in the press and the stories coming out about her from the X Factor camp were nasty. When Sharon Osbourne faced similar negativity, Simon and the show's producers always came out and defended her. They just left Dannii to deal with it herself because they knew it was boosting ratings.

I think Simon has done a fantastic job with ALL of his shows -they make compulsive viewing - I'd hate to see him go - the public love him - and as already mentioned he does have a heart of gold - he does loads for many charities that (probably by his choice) isn't publicised. Fair play Simon - please stay on the show for good!!

I love Simon. I think he has a heart of gold behind that demeanor of his. I think if he could take all of his fellow judges and their families and all the contestants and their families to Barbados with him this year, he would. This man has a huge heart, and the more he goes on, the more we find out about it.
No kidding, he's so genuine a guy and tells it like it is without the sugary coating. I love him. I am surprised to hear myself say that, because when these shows all came out, i couldn't stand him quite frankly. Oh my, how times have changed.

Simon Cowell's job is to find and inspire artists who'll sell shed-loads of records and he's the best in the world at what he does. Cheryl Cole is a fifth of Britain's best selling girl group. Between them they have made Saturday night ITV compulsive viewing (Holly Willoughby has to take some credit here as well). The show would be terribly diminished if either of them were to leave and rising hopeful performers would be denied the opportunity of fulfilling their potential.

What people forget this was Cheryl's first time at being a judge and god what a great job she did.

She really cared for each of her acts at no point did Cheryl thinks I'm a judge and I'm better then you .

Cheryl I'm not just saying this because I'm from Gateshead you did a great job just look how much people have took you to there hearts and its got nothing to do with you being in a group it because you are a really caring person and your acts are not afraid to speak to you .
