Strictly 'Pig' John records Xmas song

STRICTLY hero John Sergeant has swapped Cha Cha Cha for La La La - and recorded a SONG in a bid to be the Christmas No1.

We can reveal that the flat-footed political journalist has teamed up with Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley of The One Show to make the charity single.

Tubby telly favourite John - who was unkindly referred to as the "dancing pig" of the hit Beeb show - will need all his legions of fans if he has any chance of taking on this year's X Factor winner in the race for the coveted No1 slot.

An insider said: "John is such hot property right now and The One Show is delighted to have him involved. As for whether his singing is better than his dancing, the great British public will ultimately decide that."

The single, called Let's Not Fight This Christmas, was penned by award-winning songwriter Chris Difford and is out December 8. But John's Strictly Hum Dancing routine will go up against legend Leonard Cohen's classic Hallelujah - which will be released by whoever takes the X Factor crown on December 15.

The insider added: "Let's Not Fight This Christmas is a great song - but with John's added clout, it's hope that the tune can take on the X Factor this Christmas and win."

I think Len wants Austin to win and Arlene Lisa. I think the judges shd not be biased and shd have been replaced when they started demanding more money. The only one who talks sense is Craig. No-one can dance a perfect dance and 10's shd not be handed out so freely. What can Rachel do to please them?

Good luck to them all. The judges on Strictly now seem to have it in for Christine and it is obvious their favourite is Rachael and Camp Vincent, We must vote for Christine.
