SAUCY Laila Rouass has been rumba-led . . . she's not been Strictly honest about a couple of minor technical details - like her AGE and her MARRIAGE.

The brunette beauty has been foxtrotting out a few porkies, the News of the World can reveal.

For while she insists she' s just 34, her birth certificate shows Laila was actually born on June 22, 1971 - making her 38.

And Laila's also done a bit of tap dancing when it comes to her marriage to millionaire businessman Nasa Khan.

The pair were reported to have tied the knot with a posh ceremony. But truth is there was no big day and they NEVER WED.

Debut

A pal of 37-year-old Nasa said: "Laila made such a big thing of getting married to him in papers and magazines - but in reality they were never married."

Footballers' Wives star Laila, who made her Strictly debut with dance partner Anton du Beke on Friday, supposedly married the £75 million mobile phones tycoon eight months after they met in March 2005. She referred to him as "the One" and Nasa reportedly gave her a £60,000 diamond wedding ring on their big day.

It was Strictly private, of course, with a reception for 40 family and friends at a private members' bar in London.

But the wedding never took place.

The pal explained: "Nasa did care about Laila, but he never really loved her. She was desperate to get married to have a nice lifestyle and show her parents that she had settled down.

"In the end he felt pressured and gave in. He told her: 'OK, you can tell people we are married'.

"They did speak to a registrar about marrying them, but they couldn't get there on the day they wanted so they never went through with it - and the whole reception was FAKE.

"She duped a lot of people. Nasa felt awful about it, but he did it all with the best intentions."

The couple's relationship fell apart a year later in November 2006 when Laila, who previously WAS married to a family friend, discovered she was pregnant.

They patched things up after daughter Inez was born the following February but split again last year amid allegations he had cheated on her with his cousin.

The pal went on: "Nasa gave her their house to live in and offered her a generous sum of money. In return, Laila allowed him to see Inez fairly regularly."

But their relationship has soured further and they are now going through a messy court battle. According to the friend Laila hasn't allowed Nasa to see his daughter for six months.

The pal said: "Nasa tried to settle things respectfully which was good of him considering they were never married. She started becoming more demanding. Nasa would do anything for Inez, but he refuses to be held to ransom, and so it is currently being dealt with by the courts."

The friend added: "I want everyone to know what sort of woman Laila can be. You just never know what's true with her."

Please, the girl is greedy and a liar, if you ask me Nasa had one lucky escape, feel sorry for the child, after all she is a means to an end, money.

I love the `friend` said this and the `friend` said that! With friends like that who needs enemies! leave her alone,we all tell some porkies to try and get on,and as the `friend` was not privvy to their private life ,for all we know he might have wanted his cake and eat and and strung her along with his promises to get married,he is not as honourable as the `friend` is trying to make otherwise he wouldnt have gone along with the fake marriage etc.Good luck to her,she may have some skeletons in her cupboard(who hasnt?)but she is still a nice woman,hope she does well,even if its just to put 2 fingers up at her friend who is trying to discredit her and making money out her story(pot,black and kettle?)

what's the problem everybody lies about their age. also there are a lot of gay celebrities who say they are married to women.non story move on. strictly come dancing is far better than x factor get over it.

Good luck to the girl...I grew up on the same council estate as Laila... So I knew for sure she was lying about her age...but so what? She's in a business where age discrimination is a big problem.. She certainly is not the only celebrity who seem to have forgotten a few Christmas' and birthday's along the way. Ans 18 she is not asian.. I am sure her family were from Morrocco..

I can't say I am surprised about the age thing. I met her last year and she told me she was 32 but she got very offended at my question. She also was very defensive about her marriage. If it's true she was never married, I can understand why she pretended she was because it's frowned upon to have a child born out of wedlock in the Asian community.
