i live in australia and have been watching eastenders for years now but we are 3 months behind in eastenders so i havnt yet seen thins episode but when i found out i thought it was one of the biggest mistakes eastenders could make i dont think i will stop watching eastenders but i know alot of fans will be dissapointed.

what an ending?? typical of eastenders writters to do this with the danielle and ronnie storyline. viewers were waiting months for a happy ending and never recieved one. i think it was brilliant myself. soap is life exaggerated!! yes, it would of been great for a happy ending, but the writters have to keep the viewers hooked somehow. besides if ronnie had a daughter in the soap, she wouldnt be the hard-faced woman she is. brilliant acting on samantha janus' part,very dramatic. she showed all the emotions that a real mother would be feeling in that situation. absolutely brilliant!!!

Very disappointing but expected, the reason they killed her off is because they don't know how to write for her once the truth is out. Sack the writers and let Ronnie wake up and find Danielle in the shower, Dallas fashion.

Why should a fine actress like Lauren Crace lose her job because the writers can't do theirs?

REALLY REALLY disappointed with Eastenders, they dragged Danielle's story out for over 7 months and then kill her once she tells Ronnie, how pathetic, did the writers think we would love the story taking this dramatic and dreadful turn, I dont think so!! It annoyed me so much I was really cross and couldn't believe they would do this to us, what a waste of 7 months even that was pathetic I was starting to get really bored of how long it was taking Danielle to tell Ronnie and when she did BANG its all over in a flash, get your act together Eastenders, we are getting fed up of all the doom and gloom, I thought soaps were suppose to depict real life!!!!

All those months waiting for some action - then like waiting ages for a bus - they all come at once. For god`s sake how can they follow that up..? It was terrible - archie rushing here there and everywhere, peggy constantly asking `wot`s gwon on nah..?`, people getting thrown out the pub, people rushing up the stairs and down the cellar..
Omg how bad was that..? I was dizzy just watching !
It will be all downhill from here..

I to am disappointed it was an awful ending and eastenders surely you could have done better.I watched the other program on the producers and they were so proud of their self's,full of back slapping and praise and massaging one another's egos,is that the very best you could do,i think not and you need to think of other dramatic plots other than killing people of all the time it is becoming totally boring and full of awful and appalling writing,brilliant acting with a very bad script.Lauren Crace was a terrific young actress and addition to the square and you do deserve better scripts for the quality of your acting very well done and good luck in the future.

I think the producers did well with the storyline, if they would have not killed anyone off then Ronnies character would weaken, she'd be happy with Danielle and that would the be the end of Ronnie.
This way she can still be cold and nasty and 'herself' as she has been since she joined the show, but now we all know why she is cold, she thought her daughter was dead after her dad told her she was. Know she knows she wasn't dead, she's died anyway in result of Archie.

I dont think Archie leaving this week will be the end of him either.

very disappionted that Danielle was killed just moments after telling Ronnie the truth but i dont know anyone who did not shed a tear. and that to me is fantastic acting on both there parts. i rarely cry at soaps but this was exceptional. well done to both actress'.

See that's why i don't watch it any more! Thought I'd give it a chance seein as I'v not bothered for years. Thinkin see how this gets put right,
and the writers, what do they do? They blow it.
People want to be happy, they want to see the point of things. They want to some drama but they want to laugh. Eastenders have never been able to do that not for along time they trade on the core of misery that that most people are fightin day in day out. It takes spirit, it takes imagination to entertain. The writers logo must be: Keep 'em miserable, they love it.

I Was so frustrated with the storyline i didnt watch it on friday all of us enders fans wanted a happy ending for once not the typical sad ending for months we have watched waiting for the moment when she was finally going to find out and this happens yes its a soap and supposed to be dramatic but well....
They cant change the storyline now anyway so we may aswell stop complaining its the typical kop out that we always get from soap writers nothing happy ever happens

It amazes me how much people get wrapped up in this make believe TV. All they do is consume hours of your life day in day out with pathetic constantly repeated storylines.

Its a sad situation when people find themselves more bothered about soap characters lives whilst sitting on there arse neglecting there own.

But i guess thats all part of the drama, as thats what the soap is, i got an email from the bbc after complaining, saying they had to produce the drama to live up to there name. So i kinda get it. But they could of done it with someone else! Brilliant storyline, awful ending. I dont think i can imagine Ronnie in eastenders anymore, i think she will leave. Janine wasnt the right person to kill Danielle, as her dad killed his daughter, its just coinsidence.

I was in my element when i realised that Ronnie was to actually find out that Danielle was her daughter, and that there was going to be some great episodes of them being re-united but NO !! you had to go and ruin it by killing her off what a DISASTER !! . I really feel like we have been let down we had a long drawn out wait for them to be together and then you have her killed !! I really don't feel like i want to watch any more episodes they SUCK !!!!!

Eastenders - What an earth are you doing?! You drag out the story line for months - what you do best...then kill of the poor girl just as it was about to get gritty! Its all doom and gloom over there at the minute. Bring back Alfie and Kat - at least then there were a few laughs. I totally agree with Paul Kieley..."WHAT A WASTE OF TIME".. for once I thought this would open up a great story line, SHOCK HORROR !!!! how lazy can you get, there would have been some terrific storylines...about time we had a little happiness in this soap, getting sick and tired of the screaming and tears.....maybe they can re write it as a "DREAM" and Ronnie wakes up the morning after at the bedside of Danielle and Danielle wakes from the coma and says "MUM"...well if you think this is silly, it cant be worse than the original story line.

Regarding Eastenders above, i heard the producer did not even have Lauren Crace on a 3 or 6 or a 12 month contract, and i thought these storylines were written months in advance . After about 6 missed opportunites [ if more sorry ] we finally get to see her tell Ronnie and moments later just because the writers were at a crossroads with janine they thought lets kill 2 birds with 1 stone, first of all this was done before with frank and tiffany, and secondly what are the hell are the writers paid for if they cannot think of stories for Danielle and Ronnie after Ronnie knows the truth, i for one am utterly disapponted and feel really let-down, are they not supposed to be reflecting real life ? normally 7 months would be much less than what they portrayed .
