Dr Murray's legal team will argue that a frail and sleepdeprived Jacko administered himself a KILLER dose of his "milk" - knock-out drug Propofol.
Murder suspect Murray, 56, admitted he hooked the Thriller star up to a drip with the anaesthetic, which is normally used for hospital patients undergoing medical procedures.
Murray claims he set the drip to administer just 25 milligrams of Propofol into the star's bloodstream so he could sleep.
But he will argue that Jackson RE-SET the machine to increase the dosage, and that eventually led to cardiac arrest.
But medical experts last night questioned Murry's line of defence.
They say 25mgs of Propofol would not have been enough to send Jacko to sleep for a few minutes, let alone knock him out.
Dr Kathleen London, a US family practice physician, said: "Murray says he only gave 25mgs of Propofol. I don't believe that. In order to induce sleep, 40mgs is needed."
On Friday, it was confirmed that Jackson died of acute Propofol intoxication mixed with a cocktail of other sedatives.

This entire never-ending saga of Michaels death is insane ! I find it absurd, in particurlar, that, IF ' the Jackson family so wanted a private burial, then they would have never arrived with their Phantom Rolls Royces window curtains OPEN, whereas they could get their photo taken....NOT to mention that at Michaels grave site that evening, was placed studio / movie lighting, AND, a video boom camera to capture the event ??!! As for La Toya Jacksons recent interview with 20 / 20's Barbara Walters? It was so scripted and staged for her to make yet another attempt to make a few extra hundred thousand dollars as she was paid to ' blabber nonsense to various tabloid type newspapers '. The entire Jackson family would probably be without a roof over their heads if not for Michaels providing for them when he was alive. And they have the nerve to try and make MORE $$$$ off of his death. What a dysfuntional-nutso family; especially dirty old daddy Joe Jackson, of whom Michael ' cut out of his will '.

1 desperate money hungry Doctor + 1 desperately addicted 'king of pop' = 1 accidental O.D. - It's the only logical explanation! Forget about any talk of dramatic 'murder' scenes; forget any notion of wild conspiracy theory! They were 2 ****heads, operating from a place too far beyond their respective level of competence.

That is such crap. Ive had four opperations in my life and when you are put under you definitely DONT wake up and reset your own drip. In fact when i went for my last op i was really tired before i had it and when i woke up after, it felt like id had a really good SLEEP. You dont even dream, your unconscious! So i dont think MJ woke up and reset his own drip. I think he prob died in his sleep. which gives me some comfort coz it would mean he didnt suffer. why don you just let him rest in peace for christs sake.

I can't understand people that are actually defending Michael Jackson, he was a drug addict, and got these drugs by any means possible, the fact that he paid a doctor to administer him with the drugs that he felt it necessary to use on a day to day basis and eventually died (which is to be expected) and now the doctor is up for murder is a disgrace. If it was any other celebrity that was caught up in this sort of thing it would be labelled as a drug shame and they would be totally ridiculed for it. He was a drug addict and died because of it, why can't people accept it????

jacksons death shines a light on how this world works if you can see the whole chess board which most carnt you will see that this comes out of the route cause of a dishonest money system it is what every action orbits round dishonesty. dishonesty is a given the odds are set up in such away that dishonesty is almost the norm. the power systems need a socity of dishonest people so as to be able to control. in honesty they would be laughed out of exsistance. the details of jacksons death are meaningless the fundermental is the key the system funds a mentality of dishonesty. end of story
By is. Posted August 31 2009 at 8:47 AM.
Yep sure he did - because everyone knocked out by a general anaesthetic can just adminster more of it to themselves - while they are UNCONSCIOUS!!!!

And the Wacko Jacko freak show rolls on.
By Tom. Posted August 30 2009 at 10:53 PM.
In any case why did you give him this drug without any monitoring
------------
Why did Jackson DEMAND the drug (and the dozen others?)
Everybody is blaming the Dr for finally giving into Jackson's insane demands, as others have noted, after Jackson begged, yelled, threatened, cried.
Anybody ever heard of accepting responsibility for one's actions?

Truely, micheal should had cleaned up at least for his children, we all know his life was tough, I shedded few tears watchin his life story. I m just hopin that murray be brought to justice, he should had been the doctor, shuttin his eyes to material gains and doin the right thing. he should pay for what he did to our MJ. Rest in peace Micheal.
By nk. Posted August 30 2009 at 4:02 PM.
Oh my goodness....."woke up and reset his IV"??? How despirate can this doctor get? Take it like a man...admit you made a mistake. You NEVER should have left the room for even one minute. Accept your punishment, which will probably only be minimal considering the justice system in CA, and then sulk off somewhere and change your name. That's your future, accept it.

michael jackson was an addict and addicts dont know what they are doing most of time and it has been confirmed that he was also in a lot of pain for the majority of the time. Nobody wants to be an addict.it happens over time and it is a doctors job to monitor the drugs a person takes and get to the route of the problem. How anyone can blame mj for his own desturction is beyond me when without the doctors he could not have hooked himself up to a drip or obtain or know about the drugs he was so freely given. These doctors have played god and abused their positions,we should all be able to trust our doctors and their advice no matter who you are. Michael jacksons doctors have to be punished for abusing their roles and for letting money drive them to do exactly what they please. This isnt just about mj's death this is about playing god and being accountable for their own actions. Hopefully it will deter doctors in the future to be so free with drugs and its going to take arrests to stop the greed that drives these doctors to homicide. Michael jackson has lost his life because the people he should have been able to trust let him down, lesson have to be learnt andd it has to stop.

it's easy for dr.murray to claim like that....now the death can't talk....but was he not his job to provide for it????heh!!!! dr. murray you and all your collegues know a lot about this murder, but all of you wanna wash their hands...Sorry Michael all your aides around you were sharks,at the end they will eat each other!!!!RIP
By patrizia. Posted August 30 2009 at 1:54 PM.
MJ was a selfish addict on the road to death for over 20 years and did not give a damn that whatever doctor was on watch would get blamed for giving in to his demands crawling on all fours crying begging weeping like a skeletal child to be anaesthetised to sleep.
MJ family had they cared about him more than his billion dollar assets should have intervened 20 years ago.None of this would have happened has MJ taken responsibility to clean himself up- if only for his children sake.
MJ-self indulgent, suicidally selfish and utterly irresponsible
Good music and dancing aside.

Whatever happened to Michael we will never know the truth i suppose we have our own theory as to what went on,but the story changes from one minute to the next i mean a week ago they said the doc would be charged by wednesday well that asnt happened are they just saying that to keep his family and fans happy that there is some result coming at last, i dont think there will be carges brought against murray or anyone well whatever happens it wont bring mj back?
By lynn. Posted August 30 2009 at 11:16 AM.
Michael is not here anymore to defend him self you're lucky Murray!!
In any case why did you give him this drug without any monitoring why did you leave him to call during 47 minutes without no intensive care doctor or machine!!???!!
it's a shame!
This Doctor have change his version TOO MANY TIMES to be trust.
by the way he's not te only one involved in this tragic death and nothing can bring back Michael to life now...
RIP MIKE
By Laura. Posted August 30 2009 at 11:19 AM.
MJ should never have had a private doctor at home administering drugs. In America they do not care drugs are easily available and you can easily obtain drugs that should be monitored and only available through hospitals under strict control. I blame the lack of laws in America they do not care all they are concerned about is making money. The Kartels are making billions and MJ has now gone and this could have been avoided. What an awful state of affairs.
By Kellie. Posted August 30 2009 at 11:28 AM.
leave mj alone he is a true lengend e is not here 2 defend himself rest in peace mj
By sharron. Posted August 30 2009 at 9:34 AM.
Why can't everyone let this man rest in peace and let his family grieve. For him
By zee. Posted August 30 2009 at 8:51 AM.
My response to that would be that IF that happened to be true, then that shows Dr. Murray left the room and was not monitoring the patient. Also, Michael Jackson would be the first person in history to be able to come out of anesthesia to a such a state of consciousness to be able to up his own drip. Also, if that was even possible, as soon as he went back to sleep, the doctor could take control of the situation and lower it IF he was actually in the room while the IV was going. That brings up another question which is why was there no monitoring equipment and emergency resuscitation equipment in place and why would a doctor leave a patient alone while administering anesthesia?
His lawyers sound very desperate to come up with such a flimsy defense.
If Michael could do it himself, then why have Murray there in the first place?
By An American. Posted August 30 2009 at 4:30 AM.
what will be will be Michael knew what he wanted. Why cant the media just let him rest in peace? god bless Michael.he went through enough when he wats alive? think aout his family & just let him RIP. God Bless Micheal. xxxx

I honestly think this drip is still alive
By bexxi. Posted August 30 2009 at 1:19 AM.
Shame shame!!!!
Blame Michael, because he can`t diffend him self. No way this is thru. Murray claim to be a friend, this is not a friend speaking!!!!
By Monica. Posted August 30 2009 at 12:23 AM.
I don't believe a word that Conman Murray says. If he only went out to the toilet for 2 minutes, that didn't leave MJ much time to re-set the drip and why didn't the doctor notice right away that too much propofol was going in and stop it? In any case no sensible doctor would give an anaesthetic drug in a private home.
