it doesnt matter what you people say about how much of a failure dad he was. who are you to judge this awesome performer who could sing and dance the hearts out of millions of people?

some of you need to define the word: respect.

ps. his skin disease is called vitiligo and that makes your skin white so thats why he bleached his skin

michael jackson was a legend. and he didnt just start bleaching his skin for nothing he had a skin disease called 'vitiligo' which turns certain parts of your skin white - you get white patches, or in worse cases more than 50% of your body turns white. and because he was an african american, those white patches became much more noticeable.

if you're going to try and make a point about him bleaching his skin then at least get your facts right if you even have any.

I don't think his nose problem was because of plastic surgery but I saw on Geraldo that a doctor said he was getting injections in his face to lighten his skin to even it out. This had probably been going on for years and it was a steroid which over time deteriorates tissue. No external cream would have lightened MJ's skin enough to match the white vitiligo patches so I guess this was his only option but over time it did harm to his nose. It mad the tissue very thin. So stop blaming Micheal for too much plastic surgery, he was just trying to look normal with this desease.

What a freak. He could have lived his life as a normal man, with incredible talent, but he had to get looney and start with the skin-bleaching and plastic surgery.

The most disturbing thing was that he thought it was "perfectly normal and beautiful" to share his bed with kids that wern't his own. And the whole white glove and chimp thing was pretty bizzare too.

I hope he finds peace now. I used to be a fan back in the '80's, but no more. What a sad, sorry life.

MJ, you were the best. Its a great loss to the whole world indeed. You were so talented and reserved. I have always admired you. you made blunders unknowingly and knowingly, people talked and got tired, they judged you, but they commit the same crimes but they go unnoticed, and they go unjudged. God is a good Judge, he can judge you better. With or without a nose i still love you. God should have mercy on you because you entertained us. Though gone people are still enjoying your music and others are busy making money because of your music. Rest in peace MJ. I will always love you.

If michael wasn't a good man or dad he wouldn't have had his kids he loved his kids they was his life I loved to see michael sing my grand kids love Michael my 2 year grand kid loves to witch him everyday my 12 year is writing his life @ poems about him @ doing 1 of his dances in school in his memory so he was love by so meany people leave the man alone let us reamber him the way we want to @ his kids why hurt them by saying bad thing about there dad he was a good man we need more good men like him. Whichever way you look at this, the man will ultimately be remembered as the greatest entertainer of all time, not the nonsense going around. What you cant erase just let it be, you are just hurting his kids who at a very young age have to contend with so much rubbish from grown men and women. where is the humanity. Well, the nose issue would explain a lot, as to why he went out with his face covered so often. He probably had breathing issues because of it, too...all may also explain why he got to be so weird....

The nose is a required element for speaking and/or singing normally. When the nose is suddenly missing it's impossible to sound the same.

That is the real reason Jackson didn't release any new records or tour, and was going to lip-sync the London shows. He couldn't speak above a whisper. He had a Helluva time blowing his nose, too.

to be honest, i dont really care what he looked like, his music inspired millions and i think thats all that counts really, and yeahh i admit he used to look great and did sadly ruin that, but it was his own choice at the end of the day and people should respect him for that, anyway people always say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. But michael was unique from his music and his looks. Nobody can ever replace him no matter how much they try. R.I.P Michael Jackson.

Lillie Dipom - You have no idea what you're talking about as far as charity giving. Bill Gates has given literally BILLIONS in charity...much more than Michael was even ever worth in TOTAL. In fact his Bill and Melissa Gates Foundation has over 38 BILLION in assets all dedicated to charity.

Michael, while wealthy was no where near as wealthy as Bill Gates is...or many other wealthier men. At his wealthiest, MJ was probably worth half a billion or so. Now he's estimated at about $200 million or so when his tremendous debt is taken into consideration That's nice money but it's no where in the same league as other wealthier men. Michael probably gave tens of millions to charities and that's wonderful, but it's not even in the same league as the tens of BILLIONS wealther people have given. Take a look at not only Bill Gates but other much wealthier men than MJ like Warren Buffet, George Soros, Rockefeller, etc etc have given. Where do you make this stuff up?

To Denise: the fact is when you get bully from childhood to adult bein called name that is what happen, you loose all confidence of yourself, not how much money he had. At least he didn't kill himself like some do but consentrat on his music. That should tell you something about MJ. Also being rejected buy women he was in love with but didn't lv him back the same way didn't help. Look at the difference of him on stage were he has full confidence on his ability to sing/dance and that of when of stage? After all who are we to judge him or tell him how to live his live? we didn't live his nightmares, so let not judge his mistake or what we don't know.
I don't believe in any REVELATION of anything regarding MJ or about any other celebrities today printed buy newspapers and media manupulation not even "FRIENDS" So believe what you believe from your own observation of MJ but not what you ready.
Now let hope they don't target his kids as the next money making tickets once MJ machine has stop rolling and gone in the grown. PEOPLE LOOS BODY PART DAILY, MEN/WOMEN HV PLASTIC SURGERY TO CHANGE SOMETHING OF THEMSELV THEIR DON'T LIKE. SO WHY ANYONE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HIM NOT HAVING A NOSE?

This is both sad and scary, how can anyone be so determined to drive themselves into the ground? He was fine to begin with but 'sleb' life hit him hard in childhood so just goes to show that money does'nt make everything better!

There is no doubt Jacko was the biggest talent of our time but he was also the biggest disaster story played out right before our eyes, what we saw was a human life disintegrating from start to finish and that is the most horrifying aspect of his life, he never had the privacy and never had the chance at a normal life.

He was an amazing dancer and singer who brought out some pretty earth shattering stuff throughout his life but when he changed his skin and face hs music also changed to the boring droll for which he is remembered, earth song and you are not alone were big hits yes but would you believe they were by the same person... no.

Elvis never changed himself or his music, Jacko had to change himself to keep on top of his life but they cannot be compared they were both legends!!!

Both were mega artists each in their own manner. MJ took pop, dancing and entertainment to a whole new level.

I saw this clip- I collect them. Its MJ arriving to visit a store in LA with his kids who are also masked-around April 2009-and there is another shot to go with it of him further on inside the store with his mask off - plus complete nose! He just isnt wearing makeup-apart from the tattooed on eye and lip liners- and I think he looks a whole lot better! But his eyes are very sad-poor MJ-its sick to see the ghouls feasting on his bones-he was a fabulous brilliant entertainer not a politician - just enjoy the music and have respect for the dead.

So, sad. Why would he go this far? He was such a lovely looking man. Hopefully this is a lesson learn to others out there who think money could buy you any and everything? But his music lives on. I still love his legacy, despite this terrible revelation.
