TV Hulk: He wasn’t unfit

Michael Jackson trainer Lou Ferrigno
TRAINER: Lou

INCREDIBLE Hulk Lou Ferrigno last night denied pushing Jacko to the limit with a punishing fitness regime before his death.

The body-builder TV star was brought in to get the frail singer into shape for his gruelling 50-date comeback tour.

Jackson died last week weighing just 8st 1oz and with only pills in his stomach. But 6ft 7in Lou, who played the original Hulk in the 70s TV series, said the singer looked 'fantastic' when he last saw him.

The ex-Mr Universe said: "He was great, he looked fantastic. The way he moved, I worked with him on different exercises, and I've never seen him look better."

Lou was brought into try and beef up the skeletal star just two months ago. He said: "He did a lot of core training - stretching, nothing with heavy resistance, walking on the treadmill.

"I last saw him at the end of May. I was planning to train with him a few more sessions before he left for England. But I don't know what happened the last month. The time I was with him, he seemed fine, alert, no pain at all."
