JUNGLE Joe Swash has shattered his Mr Nice Guy image after accusing I'm A Celeb rival David Van Day of being a DOUBLE-CROSSING SNAKE.

Joe slammed David's antics as "low-down" and said: "I was really hurt by him. He tried to use me."

The ex-EastEnders actor had supported Dollar star Van Day when he and fellow late-comer Timmy Mallett were turned upon by the other campers.

But Joe was furious to learn that Van Day had secretly tried to get Page 3 girl Nicola McLean to flirt with him to make Joe jealous and undermine his bid to win the ITV1 show.

Joe, 26, raged: "I was really hurt when I found out David was playing up for the cameras.

"What did my head in the most was that I campaigned for him for fourteen days in there. I stood up for him. I helped him mingle into the group and then he wanted to make me jealous.

"I felt like he took advantage of my kindness and utilised it in the camp. That was a really, really lowdown thing to do. He tried to use me."

The Cockney cheeky-chappie was speaking after being voted King Of The Jungle ahead of tennis champ Martina Navratilova and Star Trek's Mr Sulu, George Takei.

The lucky lad was congratulated on his "throne" by gorgeous Nicola and fellow camper Carly Zucker.

Joe, who played Mickey Miller in BBC's EastEnders, said: "Who would have thought that me, quite an annoying fella, would make it to the final?"

And he gave his verdict on his fellow campers in the Queensland jungle.

Of veteran telly presenter Esther Rantzen, he said: "She is a beautiful older lady with nice big boobies! If my wife looks like her when she gets to Esther's age, I'd be over the moon. I love Esther and I loved being cheeky with Esther. She's a wonderful woman."

He also revealed his "twisted love" for gay George, 71, saying "it felt like I could kiss him."

Joe admitted: "I love Gorgeous George. He's always happy and always smiling. A great thing I'm going to take from the jungle is my friendship with George. I love him to bits."

He went on: "I know three weeks is enough to fall in love because that's what's happened to me. I'm 100 per cent convinced because I love George. The jungle does funny things to people. In my twisted mind, I love George."

Joe also had the hots for lesbian tennis ace Martina.

He said: "Martina is affectionate and loving. She's everything a woman would want in another woman. If she wasn't gay, I would have jumped in her bed.

"Martina is a legend and people will be saying her name in 100 years time. She's won more Wimbledons than anyone-and she's more man than me, George and David put together."

Joe admitted he once had a crush on fellow camper Dani Behr, saying: "I used to really fancy her when I was younger.

"When I found out she was coming into the jungle I thought, 'Nice one-that Dani's a sort.

"Dani is beautiful but I did fancy her more when she was younger."

As soon as Joe got out of the Dungay Creek camp, he phoned his 25-year-old girlfriend Kara Tointon -who plays his sister Dawn in EastEnders. A friend said: "Kara was the first person Joe rang. They talked for ages. He told her he loved her. They are incredibly close."

Thoughts of Kara seemed to unleash three weeks of pent-up sexual frustration for Joe.

He made a crude reference to how he planned to spend the next few hours alone at the 6-star Palazzo Versace hotel.

And he also recalled how he had lost his virginity shortly before his 16th birthday.

Joe said: "My first sexual experience was with an older girl and I didn't enjoy it at all. I wanted to do it when it wasn't legal, before I was 16. She was 22 or 23.

"It wasn't my girlfriend and it was in the bathroom. She planned it all.

"She said, 'Come in here', and she'd put blankets down on the floor. It wasn't the best experience.

"It put me off. It took about a year because it messed my mind up.

"When I did it properly, it was a whole different experience."

Joe was joined at the after-show party by mum Kiffy. Back in the UK his sister Shana, who played his half-sister Demi Miller in EastEnders, threw a party in her brother's honour.

Shana told him: "Everyone is so proud of you, Joe. We were crying our eyes out watching you."

Joe revealed he plans to build on his jungle stint by visiting new pal George in Los Angeles-with a view to cracking Hollywood.

He said: "I'm going to see George and he's introducing me to his agent. I'm really excited about it.

"But let's be honest-I've got more chance of being in Hollyoaks than Hollywood."

I think Joe did really well in the jungle and im so glad that he won cause he deserved it. he grown up more than he was when he enter the jungle. He was being himself nothing wrong with that.

I don't like DVD cause hes jus pure rude and imamture. Who does he fink he is acting like that. Im so glad he did'nt win! disgusting man. Think about it Joe stuck up for him and David just throws it back in his face. He should hv respect and be greatful. I dont't know how some people say horrible comments about Joe! y!? Leave him alone hes only 26!

Plus i agree that Joe and George were lovely together. That how they express their friendship. Its normal! I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Im glad he WON!

Joe was a truly deserving winner. I thought he was going to squeeze his mums head off as he hugged her in tears. His personality is gorgeous & it shows in his eyes & infectious smile. LOVED his friendship with the fantastic George. Theres something hilariously adorable about a straight, testorestone-filled lad falling in love with a gay 71 yr old man. His love for Esther Rantzen was just as lovely. A genuine, funny, charismatic, happy, cheeky, down to earth, selfless, energetic, straight-forward, fun, charming, renaissance gent. & so human. We saw every side to him. I was beyond impressed with him for standing up for those being clearly targeted, regardless of what the group would think of him. His consistent passion & principle was admirable. For goodness sake, it took a 26 yr old guy to speak up & put his friendships on the line whilst everyone followed that VILE bully Nic & Co. like sheep. We had a spineless, two-faced ex-policeman in there. Instead of helping, Paddock stirred everything up whilst making a complete fool of himself. Absolute disgrace to this country. I was impressed as Joe completed each trial with enthusiasm, speed & comedic good humour. He was hands-on/resilient/creative. Bless him for making George his walking stick & Venetian blinds as he was being drenched in torrential rain. Wish I had his zest for life. As his campmates said, Joes heart is so big & full of life. This series has been the most entertaining one thus far. Real feel-good TV with heart.

DVD?? I'm sorry but are you all ok??!? I know people have differing taste but David????? Why????He made my skin crawl!!! Entertaining..??? How???? He was so unfunny, vile, chauvinistic, cheesy, cringe-worthy, obnoxious & excruciatingly embrassing!!!!! Just WTH?? The show quickly deteriorated when they threw him and Timmy in! Why on earth they put him into the comp in the first place is beyond me. Shudderrrrrr!

The only winner was dvd, the show was boring as soon as he went, the rest of them were all boring bullys, joe was too busy kissing george to notice the real snake in the grass, and she was too busy flashing her plastic mounds to know what was going on, why did'nt anyone comment on her hiding the chocolate and leaving dvd out, they were quick enough to jump on him. all I could see was dvd was entertaining and made it enjoyable to watch, and as for playing up to the camera tell me she wasnt when she was flashing all the time, as for the rest of them simon was a wimp and did nothing except be sick , brian for a policeman was discusting and kilroy was a tipical know nothing bully to timmy, the real winner is dvd who took it all in his stride and not once did he moan or be nasty to anyone especially big mouth.

I'm glad Joe won, but David - I didn't like him years ago when he was in Guys and Dolls and then Dollar and a couple of years ago he was in some reality show with his Dollar partner, I think it was called something in the USA. Oh and I liked Nicola in the jungle!!!!

i am so pleased that joe won. so funny and.generous hearted. He stood up for his beliefs and let rip when he was not happy in a situation. It is a shame that david is a 'snake in the grass'. i think it is nicola who the real troublemaker. she was nasty in the way she spoke to certain people and her behaviour was disgusting. david was never nasty to anyones face.Even though he was playing a game i don't think he tried to intentionally hurt joe's feelings. I hope joe looks back at the programs to see what really happened. hopefully clear the air with david

I think that Joe's comments about David are unfair, he wasn't set up by him. David said that Joe responded like a good man by defending him. DVD may have been playing a game by much of what happened to him was given to him by Nicola, if she hadn't bullied him and Timmy, then David wouldn't have needed to be so defense about where he would sleep. The real snake was Brian who got Martina involved, then pretended it was Martina and Nicola alone making trouble.
I really wanted to dislike David but I found that I liked him and hope was see more of him in the future, he still has a good voice. I think the business of flirting with Nicola was a wind up and it showed Nicola up to dim and nasty.

Joe is a lovely guy but I was very disappointed he didn't confront David when nasty Nic was telling him about Davids supposed game plan.
Surely if he could see through Nicola at the beginning he could see this was just another excuse for her to bitch about David again?

Joe was ok, no doubt his career will take off and he's made a handy contact in George, nice bit of networking there!
As for David, I liked him, when I did watch he had me in stitches He wasn't a snake he just performed. However I didn't like Nicola she was just awful boobs and a sly and nasty person. If I was her fella I would have changed the locks or moved while she was away.

pathetic comments from another 'cheekie chappie' winner. Nicola was the snake in the grass but none of the other campers seemed to have the brains to realise her nasty venom spilling everywhere. David was fantastic in the jungle - had us laughing all the time. He was bullied by 'team Nicola' from day one but stood up for himself. Bullies dont like that. Shades of 'team Jade' from Big Brother but where is the public outcry? Good that David had a good sense of 'self' A more fragile person would have been very upset. Well done David - the true KING OF THE JUNGLE!

David never said anything nasty about Joe, as David said he never asked for Joe to defend him and so on. It was Nicola who was the real villain in there, stirring up trouble, turning people against David. Why do they have to come out bitching, I hate all that playground crap! I don't think I will be watching the programme tonight when they come out, cos it will be a bitchfest against David, mostly from Nicola, she is a nasty, foul mouthed bitch, and I hope she never works again!!! And what had Timmy done wrong, all he did was act like he always has, and make stupid noises, so why did she hate him? And I hate all the slobbering and kissing Joe did with George and gushing about how he loves him, what a lot of dog poo, leave the old fella alone for godsake, it turns my stomach!!!

when David left leaving them three i knew i wouldn't be watching the rest of the jungle as he was the only one that kept my attention.. he was such a laugh to watch and he made the show watchable everyone else was just plain ordinary and all they did was bitch about him and Timmy ..how come all the goody goodies end up crowned i hated the sound of joes winey squeaky voice even though i couldnt stand nic, id rather her had won becoz at least she was a bitch...please give david a show on his own itv needs him to pull in the viewers.........don't think i'll watch this rubbish again its all fake! and based on who'll make the most money afterwards ..shame on itv they're fakers.

Ok van day played the game but oh my god why has no one carried on at nick the way they have van day . Well done Joe. To be honest, he was the only winner possible. He seemed as normal a "celeb" as you could get. Pass marks for George, Esther and Martina. However I found David, Nicola and Simon pretty vile characters indeed - Here's hoping I never hear of them again. Carly was the dullest "celeb" ever. Bring on Celeb BB!!!!

It's funny how they always want to tell their 'story' soon after winning this charade! This show is responsible for reviving has-beens. There is nothing new about him, just because he has been in the jungle for a few weeks eating kangaroo testicles doesn't make him any better. He is still a thick sex crazed rubbish actor. Joe was a deserving winner and my family had hoped he would win from the start. Joe had no aires and grases about him what you see is what you get with Joe.
He was genuine from the start unlike so many of the others. Well done Joe you did yourself and your family proud.
