And never mind telly villain Jason taunting the skating celebs for having a "wobbly central core"-just clock his old man's middle spilling over the shorts!
While the bitchy judge snipes about the celebs' looks and ice moves, he keeps mum about his jobless father Keith's fashion sense. That's more Rab C Nesbitt than haute couture.
So no doubt immaculately dressed and toned Jason, 37-nicknamed Mr Frosty-is thankful he isn't a chip off the old ice block.
Dad Keith, who has his celeb son's name tattooed on one arm, hasn't had a job for 20 years. He lives on a council estate in a shabby prefab he put in a mate's garden in Melbourne, Australia, after his divorce from Jason's mum Pam.
But our photo will delight this year's Dancing on Ice contestants who have been on the receiving end of snippy Jason's acid tongue.
Jason, who also doles out fashion advice on ITV1's This Morning, said former Holby City star Jeremy Edwards' performances were like "watching an old dog take itself off to die". He compared ex-EastEnder Todd Carty to a "a dead fish".
But Jason's lumbering dad reckons his son's rants are justified, after watching videos of the ITV1 show that Jason has sent to him.
Keith, who lives off sickness benefits, told News of the World: "I know he gets accused of being bitchy and nasty but he tells it as it is. That's Jason. I think he's right. When I see the performances and hear what he's got to say I think he's spot-on."
Bulging with pride, Keith added: "We adopted Jason when he was six months old, after trying unsuccessfully to have a baby. Soon afterwards, my wife Pam got pregnant so we were lucky to end up with two kids."
Keith won't visit Jason over here because of his fear of flying. He said: "He has invited me over a few times but I just can't do that journey. He rings me every week for a chat."

Keith Gardiner was a firefighter with the Metropolitan Fire Brigade in Melbourne when he suffered a serious heart attack after saving the life of a machine operator who had fallen down a large hole he was digging. Keith's tremendous strength and skill were the main reason the man survived but unfortunately, the strain on his body caused Keith's career to come to a premature end. He left the Fire Service an acknowledged hero and his dedication and professionalism were a big loss to us. I know that Keith continued to work in a range of jobs - including running his own businesses - despite the advice of his doctors.
