Ray's whirlwind romance

DANCING On Ice star Ray Quinn has told how he's fallen into the arms of a new love just months after splitting from his childhood sweetheart.

The crooner, 20, runner-up to Leona Lewis in X Factor 2006, is dating a 23-year-old blonde who appeared in West End show Starlight Express.

The mystery girl-who he doesn't want to name-moved in to Ray's London flat after two months together. Ray-bookies' favourite to win the ITV1 skating show-beamed: "She's great, fantastic, beautiful. It's early days but it's all good."

Former Brookside star Ray split from Kirsty McInery, 21, in August after three years. He then lived with another girl before his latest flame melted his heart. Ray insists: "I'm not a serial dater. But I do like to be in a relationship."

Speaking rinkside in training at Alexandra Palace, North London, Ray also told of his devastation as record label Sony BMG dropped him after less than a year despite his debut swing album going straight to No1. "I was heartbroken," he said. "But I got over it by by keeping my head up."

Ray and partner Maria Filippov skate again tonight when men and women compete together for the first time. Singer Jessica Taylor was top last week but Ray reckons his big rival is journalist Donal MacIntyre.

WHO, is that girl Ray is dancing with - she is smoking (HOT). Damn, why doesn't he ditch his current dance partner because this blond looks like she can skate too!
