Speaking exclusively to the News of the World, the fiesty telly beauty gave us her rundown on the final 40 - revealed to viewers last night - and SLAMMED two of the singers tipped for the top.
Even global sensation Susan Boyle didn't escape a dig as Amanda warned: "She'll be an instant international superstar - but I don't think she'll have longevity."
Nervous pizza delivery man Jamie Pugh was also blasted for FAKING emotion at his first audition. He sang Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, then blubbed after getting a standing ovation and praise from the judges. But despite putting the 37-year-old Welsh warbler through, Amanda revelaed she's now changed her mind.
"He got on my t*ts," she said "I didn't think he was genuine. I didn't believe his emotion and I hated his voice. He sounded like a car starting.
"We all said, 'Yes' to him on the day so I feel terrible for saying it, but my heart's not in that performance. He's just a very weak Paul Potts. I didn't like it."
Amanda - who sits alongside Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan on the judging panel - also dismissed surprise soprano Greg Pritchard as a one-trick pony after his high-pitched rendition of Nessun Dorma.
"He's spooky. I liked it for the weirdness of thinking he's going to be a rock guy.
"But apart from that I think it's one trick. And that trick's gone as soon as he's opened his mouth."
There were a few acts that did get the thumbs up from Amanda, 38-and she gives her top ten below. No surprise that Scots singer Susan Boyle-nicknamed SuBo by her fans-made the cut. "I keep thinking, 'Thank God we put her through!' We might not have. There were so many brilliant people who didn't make it."
But she doesn't reckon the 48-year-old 'Hairy Angel' will have the title in the bag at the live finals. With brutal honesty she said: "She could nail it or kill it on the night. She might not be as good as she was on that first night and people put that performance on a pedestal.
"I think it can go either way. We've built her up and the public could go, 'She's too big for her boots, she's too cocky.' She isn't. But we don't like too much success. It's a shame.

"But she's got the Scottish vote and I think the British public are still very much on her side."
Mum-of-one Amanda went on: "Whether she wins or not, she's going to have a record contract with Simon and go on to greater things. Simon's team can't show bias so there is no way she has been anywhere near a studio yet.
"After the show there won't be any time taken to record her album-there can't be.
"They need to get her into a studio straight after the show and get that bloody thing out.
"But this world is fickle. We pick people up and spit them out just as quick. We move on very fast. But who cares? She won't. This is more than she ever dreamed of anyway."
Amanda also dismissed suggestions that Susan's appearance on the show was a fix, saying she had no idea she would turn into such a big star.
She shrieked: "To be honest I forgot about her! My husband clearly remembers me coming home from Glasgow and saying, 'Oh my God! We found a female Paul Potts but she's even better.'
"But after that I never mentioned her again. I couldn't believe the controversy about her being a conspiracy. We were hoping for gold and we found it."

Amanda added that the talent BGT found this year had been huge - even without Susan Boyle.
And the former Wild At Heart star revealed she's now pushing for a children's version of the show. "It will be Britain's Got Talent for Kids. I know there are lots of children out there who aren't making it through but should be. I would like to do the show and host it all by myself.
"When it's on TV next year Simon will probably say, 'I came up with that idea!'"
In the meantime, starting tonight, the nation is set to be gripped by a week of live semi- finals before next Saturday's final.
Amanda reckons it will give a much-needed boost to a country reeling from the credit crunch, political scandal . . . and a shock celeb break-up. "It's stop-the-country telly," she said. "This is a weird time in Britain - I can't believe that Peter and Jordan have split up.
"But seriously, Gordon Brown has taken over at the worst possible time. The country is on its knees so our kind of stuff is perfect. Everybody needs hope."
In her book, one things's for sure though - that BGT boss Cowell would trounce the PM at the ballot box.

"He'd be voted Prime Minister if there was an election tomorrow," she said - then joked that beleaguered Brown should go to one of the shows.
"We all went round for dinner and Simon did give him some advice about putting the B back into British and making everyone proud again.
"I think Gordon's very charming, charismatic with a good sense of humour, but he's come across as a grumpy man in a suit."
Amanda is currently training to be a midwife for a TV documentary - and has to be constantly prepared for one of her patients to go into labour during one of the live shows. She explained: "I'm on standby to deliver a baby so I have to be ready everywhere I go. It's a nightmare.
"But I can't wait for Piers or Simon to ask me, 'What did you do yesterday?' And for me to say, 'Oh, I delivered a baby, what did you do?'"
Her patients had better hurry up though, because Amanda is due to fly to America to host CBS's breakfast show after the final-and she's got Susan Boyle to thank for that.
"For the last 15 years I have gone to LA for weeks every year and had loads of screen tests and many near misses that you just don't talk about. I was nearly a Bond girl once.
"Then I met my husband and had a baby and my priorities changed. But I never let go of that dream. Now I go with my entire family in tow.
"So for this to happen off the back of SuBo, I can't believe it. It's major. I owe her.
"I am definitely on the Boyle bandwagon."
HERE are Amanda's top ten favourites along with the bookies' odds.

1. SUSAN BOYLE, 48, singer (10/11). I had no idea about her learning difficulties. I only read her background story after she'd been on TV. For me, it's all about her talent.
2. AIDAN DAVIS, 12, dancer (7/2). Phenomenal. Could be better than last year's winner George Sampson.
3. SHAHEEN JAFARGHOLI, 12, singer (12/1). The biggest competition for SuBo. I think he'll be in the top three. He's got the voice, he's cute and has youth on his side. America have woken up to him too.
4. HOLLIE STEEL, 10, singer and ballet dancer (12/1). She was just like me as a kid. I used to do shows in the back garden. It's horrendous that she's bullied. We can embrace children like that and make bullies think about what they do.
5. DIVERSITY (12/1) & 6. FLAWLESS (20/1), street dance groups. I just can't pick between the two of them. They've both got fantastic ideas.
7. JULIAN SMITH, 39, saxophonist (16/1). I found him really moving. A housewives' favourite.
8. STAVROS FLATLEY, Greek/Irish dancers, (50/1). They pulled it out the bag. Novel, fun idea. Will do well whatever happens.
9. THE DREAM BEARS, dance trio (200/1). Loved them. A bit of fun and could be the sneaky ones. I'd argue for them if they're up against something I don't like.
10. FABIA CERRA, 35, burlesque dancer (200/1). The woman with the t*ts. Will be controversial, but I admire her. Would be fabulous if one of the tassels fell off!

Amanda Holden is devoid of any talent herself so you cannot expect her to recognise it. Is there no one out there that realises the unique talent of Greg Pritchard, his talent is only for a privalidged few in the world in total 6. With training he would go very far in the classical world. So instead of calling him a freak recognise his wonderful talent, he should be on Cardiff singer of the World. For me and many others he was a clear winner when it comes to natural Talent. So judges instead of calling him a freak get to know What a counter Tenor means

Everyone stop slagging Amanda of shes amazing i mean i bet you couldnt be her i hate everyone that is horrible about her!!!! love you amanda you are my idol xxx
By Sophie .. Posted June 2 2009 at 10:46 PM.
Oh dear! Papers print her comments during the competition and she's a judge? She can't even tell that Jamie Pugh has a baritone voice and Paul Potts is a classical-style tenor who sang different songs? The only similarities are that they're both male and they both sing.
By amazed.. Posted June 1 2009 at 7:05 AM.
How can Amanda Holden one minute let rip about Susan Boyle, and then the next Thank Susan for the breakfast show here in America. Stay over there Amanda, we don't like two faced people.

Too many people with too much time. The person that wins is the one with the most votes. Simple as, if you wish to comment try voting!
By Dawn.. Posted May 30 2009 at 6:35 PM.
If Susan Boyle's singing is anything like in the semi final she should definitely NOT win!!!!!!!!
By Brenda.. Posted May 30 2009 at 11:14 AM.
People should regard Susan Boyle as a person first and then as a singer. One must realise that when someone's ability has been undermined because of one's simplicity through no fault of his/ her own, in this world of ours, one has to fight back by oneself. As Susan can't use physical violence for it is not in her nature, she just used a few simple swear words to ease the pain people are inflicting on her.Susan has the most beautiful musical voice. All her life, she fought on her own for her talent to be recognised by the world. Thank you Simon and team for recognising her. God bless! Sheila.

I love Susan Boyle and Shaun Smith, they are ma fav to win. (or 2 grand and the sax guy.) Why do u all diss Amanda Holden! she is well mint. She is paid to tell nasty and nice comments. She is paid to act like an expert and she is paid to judge! It's not her fault and she is not the only one making the descisions it's simon and piers too. She needs to say her opinoins because that is what she is there to do. If Amanda went off i would never watch that show again. if she wasn't there it would all go in smokes because she has more balls than simon or piers put together!!! I LOVE YOU AMANDA!!! x
By Sophie .. Posted May 29 2009 at 3:30 PM.
Of course all you people bitching about Susan Boyle are just absolutely perfect.....(not)! I attended an Elton John concert in Glasgow two years ago, paid through the nose for front seat tickets for a friend's birthday. We walked out halfway through in disgust. Elton John was totally out of tune and I mean out of tune! But he didnt make it to the News at Ten or the Press. So give Susan Boyle a chance without the bitching and stirring How many of us could cope with the pressure of the hounding Press? Princess Anne has told reporters to **** Off several times, and Princess Diana was driven to the brink of despair with Media hounding. Give Susan Boyle a break. She's only human. Switch off Susan to the bitching and go sing your heart out on Saturday. Good luck! We're all rooting for you!
By Maria, Glasgow.. Posted May 28 2009 at 10:50 PM.
Let's face it everyone Saturday will be no differente, the winner of any reality show where the public vote is always going to be the most popular. I personally am a big Susan fan and am waiting for her CD so I can buy it. It will be the first CD I have bought for my own listening. The young singers of today all appear to be in pain when they sing and the words appear to be mostly repetition(eg 12 words repeated over & over) I'd say I was showing my age with that comment but my kids actually agree with me.
I wish now that you judges had not put Susan through to the semi finals. She would have still been the big hit she is/was but, she would not now have to put up with people undermining her confidence, and trying to wind her up just for the fun of it. And maybe she would have a CD in the recording stage.
It's been reported she gets jealous and angry and uses the "F" word. Guess what she is human. How many of us have never felt jealous, anger or sworn?

i think amandas sooooo right about susan boyle all this fuss is really getting me irate susan is the most annoying creature ive ever come across grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
By tanya.. Posted May 28 2009 at 12:44 PM.
Amanda knows nothing about ballroom dancing either. She told the brother and sister that they were technically perfect. Absolute rubbish! The girl was very hesitant. Probably not her fault due to nerves etc. Amanda is a two faced talentless individual and is totally unqualified to be a judge.
By vw.. Posted May 27 2009 at 11:32 PM.
I think amanda is only speaking her mind and there is nothing we with that! Id do the same if I was in her position. I think that susan boyle is really over rated! I dont even think that she is that talented, she has a decent voice but I think that there are more talented people in the cometition. I really want shaun smith to win!!!!!!!!
By siobhan.. Posted May 27 2009 at 11:39 PM.
Sham on you, Amanda, for giving your opinion on the respective talents of the contestants. I hope neither Susan Boyle nor Shaheen will win. Susan already has a recording career, thanks to Simon. Shaheen should not have been allowed to compete since he has sung professionally--didn't you know that Shaheen toured with "Thriller" as a young MJ? I thought this competition was for amateurs! I totally agree with others that the drummer should have been put through to the semis. What were you judges thinking! And, what kind of judges are you not to recognize that Greg Pritchard was a male soprano. One-trick-pony? That was uncalled for. He has more going for him than most--a unique voice, personality, stage presense and great looks. Susan may be a ons-trick-pony, so yes, you better get her into the recording studio right away! Her fawining over Piers is not ladylike. But then, she is no lady, but a little girl in a woman's body. Be careful how you handle her--she may self-destruct. I agree with you on one point: There should be a separate show just for children! Make that happen!. Also, I'd like to say that the dress you wore on Tuesday nite was smashing. Please, Amanda, keep your comments to yourself and let the public decide. Maybe they will wake up in time to upset the BGT applecart!
By Diane.. Posted May 27 2009 at 11:22 PM.
I love the way she claims Greg is a one trick pony but had no clue about his voice and even had to ask him what kind of singer he was..
But she was right about Susan lol
By me.. Posted May 27 2009 at 10:38 PM.
ok people-do you all just like dissing Amanda because you geuinely don't like her or because she didn't put through someone you liked because there was someone BETTER. I admit putting through Nick Hell and DarthJ was a big mistake but that wasn't just Amanda it was Simon and Piers too and they must have thought they were good at the auditions. Havn't you thought that too-at auditions you liked a certain person/group but then in the semis their performance wasn't as good and you lost interest in them. I know I have-at the auditions I liked the human sax guy, as I thought he was quite funny and unusual which is what this show is about, but at semis, I found his performance to be quite painful to listen to, he sounded like a baby crying and don't think he'll get very far in the real world either.
On a last note - stop dissing people just because you're jelous and SUSAN BOYLE TO WIN BGT!
(or Shaun Smith! =) )
By Kayt.. Posted May 27 2009 at 6:37 PM.
Also just to add at my last comment about who I liked at auditions then no so much at semis, at the auditions I liked Harmony too,the two girl singers, but at the semis I thought that they just completly SOILED one of the greatest songs of the 60s - there voices sounded awful and ok I admit it is hard to sing and dance at the same time as I'm a singer too but its all about breath control and what I do to be able to hold my breath for longer while singing and dancing is I go to a swimming pool and go underwater and see how long I can hold my breath - I start @ 5seconds and come up for air, then go to 10secs, then 20 and so on until when I come up I'm gasping for air and when that happens I go back to 5 seconds and try to beat the time I can't get past. I recommend anyone who likes singing to try this as it will help.
Again a last note - SUSAN BOYLE or SHAUN SMITH TO WIN BGT =)
By Kayt.. Posted May 27 2009 at 6:42 PM.
Amanda on a CBS breakfast show !?! Ok I'm convinced, times are indeed desperate.
By RdG.. Posted May 27 2009 at 4:43 PM.
Iliked jamie pugh and log in to hear him time and time again,ok so he forgot some of the words but his rendering of Bring Him Home was certainly as good as Micheal Crawford's version. Also enjoyed Greg Prichard ,it was definately different and enjoyablstellae.
By stella.. Posted May 27 2009 at 3:03 PM.
I cannot see how Amanda Holden was chosen to be a judge, what is she known for, certainly not her singing or acting abilities, she has always craved recognition, which she found by entering blind date, many years ago, then marrying Les Dennis, then having a affair with Neil Morrissey, eventually marrying the chap she is with now,I don't think she has any qualities to judge other people on their talents.
By pam morris.. Posted May 27 2009 at 9:21 AM.
I could not believe that Stavros Flatly won tonight!!! It was not funnynand they cannot dance. Their backing dancers could at least dance. I think all the cypriots in Britain must have been voting for them or the whole thing is a fix.
By steph.. Posted May 26 2009 at 11:17 PM.
amanda is a nice person she might have got it rong but she will learn from her mistake on jaime and susan
By amy.. Posted May 26 2009 at 10:23 PM.
i totally agree with Amanda!! susan boyle is good yeah n we love her for her 1st audition BUT shes too cocky now and needs to be brought down a peg or two... and Jamie Pugh was a professional faker! how comes the shaky nerves only came wen he was singing! and not when he was talking to millions of people!! Hated him! and glad amanda had the guts to say it!!
By becca.. Posted May 26 2009 at 6:31 PM.
Susan Boyle remind me of a Modern Day Mrs Mills (Minus Piano)...Maybe Pop is going full circle...Back to the future
By Brian Bunns.. Posted May 26 2009 at 11:57 AM.
Jamie Pugh I thought was amazing and he moved me alot and i could tell in his eyes his was not a faker. Susan Boyle was also just as moving as I started to cry so I don't agree with you Amanda that she won't stand for long because there is more than a 50% chance that she will win the whole thing. The winners for Britians Got Talent that would most likely win would be between Shaheen Jafargholi, Susan Boyle, Diversity and Julian Smith.
By H.A.. Posted May 26 2009 at 10:38 AM.
I must agree wit Shirley:
"Amanda Holden has NO talent. She somehow seems to have longevity."
I would not like to see her on CBS "early show" -- Oh no!
By barbara.. Posted May 26 2009 at 1:33 AM.
amanda, i have viewed the videos of Susan Boyle, and girl, you were almost moved to tears and stunned with amazement as were the rest of us.
We love her, and so do you, but you go ahead and do what you think you must as a judge. I just listened to her Cry Me a River, and could have sworn that she was a woman who had loved. You were right in telling her not to change too much. Her saleability, at the moment, is in her dowdy vs. great voice image. Soon, however, her saleability will be in only her voice. I hope she listens to you and gets a great agent.
By pkski.. Posted May 25 2009 at 10:26 PM.
I have to agree with the people who are making comments about Amanda but also would like to say Amanda, if you are reading this anytime you wanna go on a date I'm free :-D x
By Mat.. Posted May 25 2009 at 3:02 PM.
She sounds like a two-faced cow if you ask me. One that isn't famous for anything, apart from being married to someone, who ONCE was. She's false and she knows when the camera is on her.
By sharon.. Posted May 25 2009 at 1:36 PM.
By the way, I forgot to add but I think Shaun Smith could win, the fact that he is only 17 means he will be a big hit with the young teenage girls who watch this show and who will vote in their thousands.

Susan Boyle is my favourite, but I am astonished and disappointed that young Kieron, the drummer boy who was absolutely brilliant, did not make it to the semi finals when rubbish acts like Nick Hell and Julia the bellydancer DID. Is there still time for the judges to have a re-think and put young Kieron through...or is there some kind of hidden agenda??
By Faith.. Posted May 25 2009 at 12:08 PM.
REading these comments here I see that lots of you hold the same opinion as me about Kieron the fantastic drummer boy. Sonya, I'd be the first to sign a petition to bring him back - any ideas about how we can do it?? Before Friday night?? It's a travesty that he won't now be in with a chance of the final...
By Faith.. Posted May 25 2009 at 12:17 PM.
BGT Panel, I hope your reading this.... why not admit you got it so wrong in not putting Kieron Gaffney through. How can you defend this decision? Kieron, you were absolutely brilliant! Do not be put off in pursuing your goal as in my eyes you are a rising star. I hope we see a lot more of you in the future.
Simon, Amanda, Piers - this is the most disgraceful decision I have witnessed on the show. Shame on you.
By P. Best.. Posted May 25 2009 at 12:40 PM.
Amanda Holden gets on my wick. She has no right to judge people's talent when all she has ever done is marry Les Denis and appear briefly in an average TV drama. She's there because Simon Cowell thinks she's a pretty face - but she's getting on a bit now and the botox won't work forever.
Get rid of her.
By craig.. Posted May 25 2009 at 11:25 AM.
Isn't Amanda Holden more famous for being Les Dennis's ex-wife than anything she's actually done?
What are her qualifications for being a talent-spotter?!
By Edwin D'Souza.. Posted May 25 2009 at 8:52 AM.
I totally lost my respect for Amanda Holden.
Never had heard or her before. Susan Boyle that was news in the New York Times' front page made BGT watchable by me. Otherwise, I would NEVER in my life would watch a reality show. Now ...... how disapointing see this!
By aurea lemanski.. Posted May 25 2009 at 6:33 AM.
How can Amanda mouth off about the contestants before the competition is over. I the judges from American Idol or AGT are interviewed here they remain neutral, other than Simon, and he just predicts who he thinks will win. That is so totally unprofessional. She has lost all credibility with her"goosebumps" and "tears". What a hypocrite. She's criticizing others for being fake. I'd rather listen to Paula, who doesn't go behing contestants' backs denigrating them. She should be disqualified.
By newyorkrican45.. Posted May 25 2009 at 4:54 AM.
I'd not heard of Amanda Holden until I looked up the BGT site to see Susan Boyle's initial performance.
After seeing Amanda's comments on another site, and following that here, I went back to review Jamie Pugh's initial performance again ... and again, and again, just to make certain.
If Jamie Pugh's reaction to the audience response was "faked emotion," then tell me what the hell were Amanda's responses as recorded during the performance. They must have been faked, too, for her to turn around and stab him in the back with these out-of-school comments.
Careful, Amanda, your catty behaviour is reaching America before you! There'll be no room for the two-faced performances like this in Camelot II.

By dkerer.. Posted May 24 2009 at 8:06 PM.
This Susan Boyle nonsence has gone on long enough.. she's had her moment, but you can't serioulsy compare her voice to the talent involved in Flawless' dance routines, Aidan's moves, Shaheen's voice or Julian's saxahone. she isn't even in the top 10!
By Adam S.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:55 PM.
How on earth did that guy with the swinging lobes get through and not Kieron the drummer boy...a fix surely! Any way he can get be brought back???
By debs mclaughlin.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:44 PM.
Of course all the near naked female acts are going to get through to the finals whether they have talent or not if Simon and Pierre are on the panel... wake up guys and do your job strictly on talent!
By Eileen Brennand.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:26 PM.
Why wasn't the drummer put through? He was the only one last night that moved me to tears. He was fantastic. Is it because you need to put plenty rubbish acts in the semis to make sure the right ones get through to the final? Shame on you Simon & co.
By Ceebee... Posted May 24 2009 at 7:17 PM.
bring back the little drummer boy! he should be in the semi's! aidan to win! i like amanda...don't believe everything the newspaper's say! she prpobably hasn't said any of this!

I used to love X Factor & BGT but its getting a bit boring and verypredictable especially when they choose Dark Vader and stupid untalented act like that.
By Gemma.. Posted May 24 2009 at 5:45 PM.
Amanda holden has not talent at all she cannot sing and certainly cannot act. She is so wooden and to criticise the calibre of jamie pugh and greg Pritchard was unbelievable, she is jealous that greg can sing and is also so good looking. Why did simon ever pick her to judge BGT? I think because she is so poor it will only make him look better. I like susan boyle but I am sick of it being a one horse race already. It was a travesty that Kieron Gaffney who had superb manners was not in the final 40, he was an excellent drummer. I believe it is all tactics put people like darth jackson, both belly dancers, the ears chap, the guy who did not sound like a saxophone and then it is easier for susan especially with amanda (no talent at all) having a pop at jamie and greg. Bring back keiron! Boot Amanda into touch asap.

I feel it totally wrong that Amanda Holden gives her personal opinion of the competitors. In her position she would better keep silent until the winner is selected.

Methinks Amanda Holden is getting too big for her boots, she's a mediocre actress and shouldn't be speaking or given opinions of ANY of the acts whatever she thinks as it will show bias she is a judge and should be acting like one. anyhow some acts are better at what they do than what she does as an actress!

I too was so surprised that the little drummer boy didn't get through after all the praise he got. Like Simon said, a 12 year old with a drum kit has usually got to be a nightmare but for a young lad to actually use it so professionally after only a year shows real talent and isn't that what this show is called "Britains got TALENT" I can't see what talent you need to strip off and show your bits (go to a night club), stick a Darth Vader mask on and dance(go to a fancy dress party) or swing things around with your piercings(go to a circus) Come on Simon you've changed your mind before and let someone go through, read all these comments and let Kieron through, we'd all like to hear more of him.
By colleen.. Posted May 24 2009 at 2:59 PM.
The best part about these talent shows it discovering someone with real talent that's paid their dues but never got a break in life.
Sorry, but for me that's not a 10 or 12 year old.

How big headed is amanda getting watch out simon
By shirley.. Posted May 24 2009 at 2:43 PM.
Amanda Holden has NO talent. She somehow seems to have longevity.
By dan.. Posted May 24 2009 at 2:28 PM.
I don't agree with Amanda Holden giving her opinion in public on the talents or otherwise of the contestants.
Her words are hurtful and her behaviour unprofessional. She's not exactly perfect herself, given the way she treated her ex-husband in full public view!
The competition is not yet over and no one truly knows who might win.
By Mojo.. Posted May 24 2009 at 2:14 PM.
I think Susan Boyle should win as she is brilliant, but was disgusted with last night's programme as the little drummer boy should definately have gone through, it was not fair for him as he is so talented and a lot of the acts that got through are just rubbish.
By V.Adams.. Posted May 24 2009 at 2:12 PM.
Why is BGT (and its judges also) now known around the world?
That´s all!
By Lucinda, Portugal.. Posted May 24 2009 at 12:50 PM.
I agree with a lot of readers, the 11 year old drummer boy game me goosebumps and should have gone through I think he could have won it he was brilliant, big big mistake whoever said no, fancy putting the stripper through, who except a lot of sad people want to watch that again, I am sure the Queen will not want to watch her make an exception and make it 41 people
By June Brown.. Posted May 24 2009 at 1:39 PM.
She needs to get a grip. She is far from a musical expert. She had to ask Greg Pritchard what kind of voice he had!
By Gilly M.. Posted May 24 2009 at 1:08 PM.
iam i the only one that is sick of hearing about susan boyle or whatever her name is lol! i dont want to insult anyone but she is not enjoyable to look at, no dress sence, and when she talks i want to turn the sound down and im scottish !!! yes she can sing ok but surely its about the whole package? she is annoying the hell out of me anyway!
By sandi.. Posted May 24 2009 at 1:04 PM.
SUSAN BOYLE????
She was only seen as an amazing singer because everyone pre-judged her for someone who couldn't sing because of her looks which was wrong!
However, the truth of the matter is she was an okay singer!!! She wasn't that amazing! If she would have walked on that stage and looked better than what she did and sang the way she did they would have probably put her through but without all the attention she now gets. And last night they probably would have sent her home! She isn't that good and she hasn't got star quality either! I can't see her lasting more than a few months!!!
By Kayleigh.. Posted May 24 2009 at 1:28 PM.
i dont think amanda holden should be running the contestants down as she is a judge & she will be influencing the voting public, you must go by the performance on the night ,jamie song was so moving
& i never tire of listening to it.........js........
By john sullivan.. Posted May 24 2009 at 11:52 AM.
This part of the 'competition' is the most interesting because it shows how people are maniplated into parting with their vote money. As a previous comment said, the performer who Cowell would prefer to win will be on last every night so they stay longer in the memory. I guarantee the singers will be on last this year as Cowell was unable to make cash from selling albums after the dancer won last time. People should realise that voting is completely unnecessary and only serves to make people like Cowell much richer. Do you seriously think Boyle will disappear if she gets no votes? She's good for one album at the very least. Save your money and put it into Children in Need instead, not into a certain person's Carribbean property improvements.
By David.. Posted May 24 2009 at 11:57 AM.
I a disgusted with BGT that drummer boy should have got in. Instead of that stupid stripper and darth vader I will be fast forwarding those iijits. Piers must have picked them he would not know talent if it slapped him in the face. Simon should get to pick the 40
By Marilyn Moir.. Posted May 24 2009 at 11:38 AM.
Have been watching the show from Portugal so unfortunately can't vote. However, seems obvious that the drummer boy should have got through rather than the row of fruitcakes (freaks). It seems cruel to give these people hope of success when they are there purely for ratings and have no chance of actually winning. We should be able to vote the panel out! (Except Simon, who speaks common sense).
By Dirk Kuckelhaus.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:55 AM.
I cannot believe you didn't choose boy drummer to go through semi finals!
But, thinking about it, you chose enough of bad acts ("I want to break free" guy? Give me a break!) to make sure your favorites go through the semi finals. I call that a SET UP.
By Jackie.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:43 AM.
Amanda Holden was nearly a bond girl? Gave me a good chuckle. How deluded is this talentless eejit?
By Fa.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:50 AM.
i still cant get over simons face as he was listening to susan boyle. the pure joy on his face was something i had not seen before. this is a woman with no ego or self belief and to go out and perform like that was amazing. i hope she walks it. i for one am sick of all these little stage school kids with pushy parents and bullying stories. apart from that little drummer the rest of them just annoyed me. i hope everyone votes for susan boyle because she is a true natural talent who deserves a chance.
By kate shuel.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:48 AM.
What the hell has Prudence McBroon got to do with all this? Does he hope (in vain) that the mention will rub some talent his way? As for Holden -well she's OK but think's she's it cos she's on a successful programme. She ruined and closed "Thoroughly Modern Millie"
.
By mrs_spratt.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:32 AM.
I hope there will be a mass protest to put Kieron Gaffey into the semi finals! He is so very talented and deserves a chance. Come on, Judges! Reverse your decision. The whole country is behind him!!
By Lili.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:25 AM.
Amanda, when you ever come to South Africa, e-mail me and we go for dinner. Love you!!!! Like your use of the English language!!! You are stunning.

BGT's a very entertaining programme, and let's face it, at the end of the day the judges decision is final. I just wish that everyone would stop bickering, sit back, watch and enjoy, and await the final outcome.
By John King.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:19 AM.
I think singers should be banned from BGT because there are other shows for that!
There is a reason it is called the royal VARIETY show, get something unusual and totally unique out there but then again Simon does'nt see talent he sees how many pound signs he can maek out of people!!!
Do agree though the drummer was AMAZING he should've gone through rather than some of the crap that did...
By stais.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:17 AM.
how could she state those comment and then go on to judge the semi-final shows? As a judge you cannot have biased view and you should only judge according to the performance of the night, not prior to that. I think she is the talentless one and the only thing on her CV worth mentioning is divorcing an ex-celebrity big brother contestant
By wally.. Posted May 24 2009 at 10:16 AM.
Cannot believe some of the stuped acts BGT put through, I just hope someone out there picks up on the boy that played the drums, we could have one of the greatest drummers for the future on our hands.
By Maddi Smith.. Posted May 24 2009 at 9:42 AM.
Holden is such a lightweight anyway, she is the wrong one anyway to criticise others - by the sounds of it she aint got much on her CV
By rikkidelreeko.. Posted May 24 2009 at 9:26 AM.
Susan Boyle's secret is about to be revealed, she sings with a MOUTHFUL OF MARBLES.
By JoeJoe.. Posted May 24 2009 at 9:25 AM.
If last years show is anything to go by, the last act of the night always makes it through to the grand final, its an easy way for the producers to manipulate the voting.
By Chris.. Posted May 24 2009 at 9:24 AM.
LITTLE DRUMMER BOY SHOULD OF GOT THROUGH,HE WAS BRILLIANT,PUT ME RIGHT OF THE SHOW WHEN THEY PICKED ACTS THAT YOU JUST KNOW WONT LAST,WE SHOULD START A PETITION TO BRING BACKLITTLE DRUMMER BOY
By SONYA.. Posted May 24 2009 at 8:54 AM.
After watching last nights show I am so disappointed! All of the acts I liked (prior to last nights auditions) got through but I am so annoyed that the drummer boy didn't get through yet the lady who dances around with her jugs hangin gout, darth vader & the man with the big ears oh and the man/woman drag act who puts the finger in the belly button - I mean that doesn't work out - that drummer boy was amazing, I was already looking forward to seeing more of him he wowed the judges as well but it didn't seem like it was enough. I think that Simon wanted to put him in last night but it seemed that Piers & Amanda seemed to have many different views on who should go through!
Hope to see the drummer boy again he's got a good future ahead of him!
By JB.. Posted May 24 2009 at 8:46 AM.
I must complain! I was watching 'Britains got Judges' last night, and I was so dissapointed with the quick flashes of people with 'Talents', Spoilt my night it did
By john connolly.. Posted May 24 2009 at 8:19 AM.
The lad playing the drums from last nights show for sums up what is wrong with this show, clearly has bags of talent but they want to put acts through that people will make fun of and get headlines like the woman with all her bits hanging out. Should she be in the semi ahead of the young lad absolutely not, not only was the lad talented but he was very polite and had a lovely way about him and that has so annoyed me that he did not get through.
Why can't the show just be about talant instead of all the garbage acts you get to see, it's such a shame because there is only so much of darth vader I can take.
By Stuart.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:46 AM.
So a woman who had ten minutes of fame for being on Blind Date and sleeping with Les Dennis now is the foremost authority on entertainment in Britain and UK politics to boot. Clearly thinking that a man that attempts to make noises like a saxophone is more worthy than a boy that learned professional standard drumming in a year qualifies this.
By Paul Jones.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:46 AM.
BGT HAS BECOME A SELF PROMOTIONAL PROGRAMME FOR AMANDA AND PIERS, BUT AT LEAST PIERS IS HONEST ABOUT SOME OF THE RUBBISH HE LIKES.
WIND YOUR NECK IN AMANDA ... SIMON IS THE ONLY JUDGE ON THE PANEL WHO THE PUBLIC RESPECT.
I'M SURE EVERYONE THINKS THAT PUTTING THROUGH 'DARTH VADER' and 'THE BURLESQUE DANCER ' (ie TART STRIPPER ) WAS A STUPID THING TO DO AND BOTH WILL BE OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND.
AS FOR THE OTHERS, LET'S HOPE 'JOE PUBLIC' VOTE WITH THEIR SENSIBLE HEADS ON THIS TIME.
PLEASE ... PLEASE ... PLEASE ...
LET'S HAVE A BGT FOR KIDS SO WE DON'T HAVE TO WATCH ON ADULT BGT ANY MORE UNDER TALENTED KIDS SINGING SONGS FROM OLIVER AND TRYING TO DANCE JUST TO APPEASE THEIR PUSHY PARENTS.
By JuJu.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:43 AM.
Amanda you are getting to big for your boots!Also let me remind you Gordon Brown is in a mess of his own making!He hasnt just come in -he was chancellor !(running the countries finances for the last 11 years)we always get the country run down under labour ,where have you been all these years woman!We need a change of govenment and we need you to stop making out you know talent when you see it,who do you think you are? you are getting above your station woman;
By s wade.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:09 AM.
It's nice to hear what Amanda thinks at this stage of the game. I was surprised that she felt that way about Jaime, but I certainly understand. His overacting was deceitful. I heard he removed his facial hair. I guess since people recognized him from his 2006 solo performan (with a group of men playing backup), he no longer needed to keep his disquise.
There were lots of very talented contestants this year . . . but, my heart stays with Susan. Unfortunately, I can't vote.
Oh, and Welcome to the States, Amanda. Looking forward to seeing you on CBS.
By Ammie.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:38 AM.
Putting through Darth jackson and the fat lady with the big tits is an insult to anyone's idea of taste or talent. The little drummer boy was superb. What a travesty! Holden and Morgan seem to be there just to represent all that is stupid and tacky. Let Simon have the casting vote - always!! (and ditch the duck mouth Amanda asap)
