She has confessed to the News of the World that she might be an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT and could be deported.
But she pleaded: "I love Britain and I want to stay in the UK. I love the people, they are warm."
That warmth won't cut much ice with the immigration officials who want to interview her this week.
The Zimbabwe-born beauty was allowed into the UK last year with a visa which only allows her to work as a trainee nurse.
But she resigned from her hospital job in May so she could join the telly series and has now registered with a showbiz agent.
Telly viewers turned on the one-time favourite to win after allegations earlier this week that she had won her place in the Big Brother House because she was an actress.
A showbiz wannabe website also advertises her services as presenter, compere and dancer.
But bosses at Endemol, the company which makes BB, denied she was fast-tracked though auditions after making a professional video.
Makosi says she only gave up her nursing job because hospital bosses at High Wycombe, Bucks, were afraid she could spark a scandal.
She said: "I had asked for leave, but when I told the ward sister that I had got into the House she said she had to speak to management.
"She said it was detrimental to the NHS and to the bloke that I was seeing, who was a consultant, if I went into the house.
"They wanted to protect him and how important he was to the hospital.
"The day before I was going in the House, they said I couldn't have the leave and I was forced to resign. I was very disappointed with my boss."
But Makosi failed to tell immigration officials she had changed jobs and the Home Office last night confirmed she had broken the terms of her work visa and will now face deportation proceedings.
An officer told the News of the World: "This is an uncomfortable position.
"She is not trying to claim asylum or get state benefits but she has broken the terms of her work visa.
"As a result we have no choice but to get involved. That means she will be told to attend an interview with immigration officials. To stay in Britain she will have to apply again for another work permit.
"But she will be deported if that application fails.
"We can't let this one slip by as she is clearly a high-profile person."
Last month the High Court placed a temporary ban on deporting asylum seekers back to Zimbabwe.
But Makosi is technically an economic migrant and can therefore be deported.
Official notification of the Immigration Service investigation has now been sent to her home in High Wycombe.
Makosi had sparked complaints from staff at the High Wycombe Hospital saying she shouldn't be on the show as a nurse.
Big Brother viewers said she shouldn't be there as an actress.
But Makosi said: "I was 100 per cent Makosi in that house. I wasn't acting at all."
Within hours of being voted out on Friday and delivering her verdict on some of her housemates (above), she signed up with top showbiz manager Jonathan Shalit.
She now hopes, with his guidance, to become a powerful star in her own right.
She says: "Jonathan has top stars on his books but has never had a Big Brother star before.
"I am really pleased he has taken me on. I want to be a star. I am already mixing in showbiz circles.
"On Friday night I met up with Duncan from Blue and he asked for my number."
ON MAXWELL..
LIKE me he was very unpredictable. One moment he was laughing, the next he could be moody.
Maxwell was very misunderstood at times. He appeared to play the fool but wanted to be taken more seriously. Overall, he made my experience of the BB House more funny.
ON DEREK..
HE was threatened by me. He thought I was far too powerful because people respected me.
Derek doesn't know how to handle other clever people and he certainly didn't know how to handle me. But we got on as we had a sense of right and wrong.
ON SASKIA..
I WOULD have got on well with Saskia if it hadn't been for the row over cider during which she criticised my appearance.
After that I thought she was ignorant. It's a shame because outside of the House without all the pressures we'd have probably been friends.
ON KEMAL..
Kemal was obsessed with whether I was acting-which I wasn't-and treated me like a mole.
He couldn't get his head around me being so comfortable with people if they hated me because I just didn't care. But in general I'd say we got on well.
ON CRAIG..
I THOUGHT he was lovely but immature. His emotions were all over the place. One moment he would say he was into threesomes and orgies and the next that he wanted to settle down.
I don't think Craig really knows who he is and after 11 weeks I certainly don't either.
