ORLA the bawler cracks a smile at long last after sensationally quitting Big Brother yesterday.

The big blubberer from Ulster, who became famous for baring her boobs, was saved from eviction in the public vote on Friday.

But she begged TV bosses to let her leave and was finally allowed to go at 10.25am yesterday.

Speaking exclusively to the News of the World later she said: "I don't regret walking out. I feel happy in myself and I'm really happy I lasted so long."

Orlaith, 26, from the new Lodge area of north Belfast, had been desperate to leave for the last two weeks after a long-running feud with Derek.

And she lays the blame for her early exit squarely at his feet. She said: "I left because of the way Derek treated me.

"Hate is a strong word to use about anybody but I hated the way he bullied me. It was like being back in school and I felt picked on. He made me feel inadequate. I felt I was being pushed away from the group and made to be the loner."

Orlaith survived two evictions, watching Science and Kemal walk out ahead of her, but yesterday the pressure finally got to her and she said: "That's it. I'm going."

Orlaith spent her last few minutes in the house with her mates Makosi, Craig and Anthony in the bedroom.

The blonde had earlier plotted with the gang to leave in secret without saying goodbye to Derek or Eugene.

They were in the pool when she quit and she wanted them to think she'd been removed from the house because she was a mole.

But Derek was not bothered about her departure and nonchalantly told Eugene: "I think she has left without saying goodbye. Oh well, I shan't remember anything she said in here anyway. I didn't like her duplicity."

Orla begged Big Brother to let her follow Kemal out on Friday but bosses asked her to sleep on it.

Typically she started packing her suitcase topless-much to the delight of disco dancer Anthony.

And yesterday morning she spent hours getting ready to leave. While the other housemates slept, she curled her hair and slapped on layers of make-up.

Big Brother eventually roused the others at 9.45am with The Clash song Should I Stay Or Should I Go? in tribute to Orlaith's plight.

After saying her goodbyes, she went into the Diary Room and was whisked straight to a meeting with BB chief Sharon Powers. She then had a psychological check up before being allowed to see her family.

Orlaith became unhappy soon after she arrived in the house four weeks ago wearing just a few fig leaves.

And during a heart to heart with Makosi on Friday night, she said she had grown to hate Derek and branded him the "devil".

Sobbing she said: "He treats us like s**t. I feel inadequate in this house because of him."

Talking about how the feud started she said: "The first thing that happened was when Derek asked if I was smart. Then he said that having a degree doesn't make you smart.

"I knew from then that I didn't like him." And she fears her time in the house may have left her damaged.

She said: "I feel like crying all the time. I'm going crazy. I'm cracking up. I've not been smiling or happy.

"I feel I have to go home to Belfast and work on my mental stability. I will have nightmares about this."

But she told Big Brother she did feel slightly guilty about leaving Makosi behind.

"I would have loved to have the strength to stay and be there for Makosi. With Kemal leaving she thought she had me to turn to next. I have left Makosi stranded-but this is about me."

And she tipped camp crimper Craig or his crush, Anthony, to win.

Snogging

"They deserve it more than the others," she said. "They're genuine, honest guys here to have a laugh, staying up late and giving people something to watch. As they say, 'Sleeping is cheating'. If they stay strong and keep Makosi by their side they'll do it."

Gorgeous Orlaith will for ever be remembered for constantly flashing her surgically enhanced 30E boobs. The minx also took part in a raunchy pool orgy, snogging Makosi and Anthony.

And her favourite topic of conversation was how famous she's going to be after BB.
