As most of all the comments I have just read I agree with this as C4 dont deserve any tax payers money sink or swim like the rest of us have to and do yre jobs right or face the sack, but as all big boy's you do what you want with Joe public but as MP's found out Joe public when pushed is as strong as ever, so please bring back the live streaming or take the conciquence.

i watch bb every year on the live feed and i was shocked to find out that it was not available this year so i havent watch any of it and im not going to.

Channel 4 must have been strapped for cash this year, cutting out the daytime Live feed. Either that or they completely lost the plot, this time round. They didn't dare do so across the pond, for B.B. USA (season beginning). The public didn't get hooked over the years, just for the edited highlights which necessarily leave out events - people want to be the 'fly-on-the-wall', as things happen, to see the little twists and turns unfold, as only 24/7 live feeds can offer (TV or online).

C4 should have made savings by axing the self-important evening show BBLB, or introducing a cheaper programme with better format. Whilst the current presenter is a charming professional, he can't make up for the format's shortcomings; BBLB gives very little insight into what's been happening in the house, and is mainly about itself – frothy and self-interested. Apart from its' inflated ego, it focuses mainly on guests, not housemates. With no live feed this year, BBLB could have thrown a lifeline to dedicated BB fans, by showing additional material and talking about it. The current BBLB is a complete waste of airtime AND MONEY which could have supplemented the 10pm edited show, instead of guests/games/quizzes.

And what are the production costs for the nonsense of night feeds to C4/E4, covering housemates' every move in deep slumber, whilst the public do likewise? How large can the night audience be for paint drying? ...Is it too late to do a U-Turn and SWITCH DAYTIME LIVE BACK ON?

I am soooooo disapointed that there is no live feed during the day. THe whole idea of big brother was like a fly on a wall watching the tasks as they happened and seeing the diff. characters develop. The winner this year will not be a true winner but someone that has been edited to look like the winner! It just is'nt the same and where as before I was one of b b biggest fansand looked forward to watching it now I have already lost interest and may not watch it at all. Who decided to cut it and why? There are dozens of other channels for people to watch it they don't want to watch the live feed. Looking at the other comments and how many I def. think you should bring it back now now now!!!!!!or it is just a edited farce. One very disappointed was fan but not now.

I am very disappointed that channel 4 is not showing live feed 24/7 I thought this was the whole idea of BB and what made it different and very successful over all other reality shows. If you want to stop making the programme after this year then at least gives “us” live feed for the final year we deserve this as we have all been loyal fans.

I agree with so many big brother fans. Its not big brother as it should be you dont know who to vote for as you dont know whats going on without live feed. If channel four are making cut backs then it should not have carried on with big brother as it has ruined the whole big brother concept, I find big brother as it is now not a full program and do not know whats going on. Eviction night will be a real anticlimax it is just not good enough putting half a reality show on the tv. Channel four should be ashamed of themselves thinking they can con the public.

I am totally disgusted that channel4 have axed the live feed.
All the die hard fans that predominantly are the voters for the show are now being denied the true big brother experience of dropping in at any time during the day to catch up.
Surely the premise of the show is to be voyeuristic.
I have watched many versions of big brother from USA to the Australian Big Brother and have always believed Channel4 have been way ahead in their production and often inspired the way they take the production to a new level.
Thank goodness Davina is still there presenting the main show and big mouth and I believe to be a die hard believer in the experience.
Davina with her unique warmth, charm, wit, charisma and very welcome sarcasm she honesty holds the entire experience together.
I urge all die hard fans out there to complain about no live feed as I believe Big Brother 10’s characters could be a stroke of genius.
They are well cast for a very interesting and eventful and entertaining summer.
So please all call BBLB,BBBM E-mail channel4 and contact the press we need the true Big Brother experience that they have provided before and now being denied.

What morons! Axing the live feed why? Because it's far more important to show re-runs of friends and other old shows all day long than to allow live feed so people can watch ashow they actually WANT to watch.

Channel 4 need to get their heads out of the sand and smell the coffee. The show is dying before our (and theirs) eyes, all because they won't lose face and admit that the Live Feed is what makes BB special. You can't remove a basic peice like this and expect the fans to keep watching. Come on Ch4 Grow Up.

I think you should just change the name of the show altogether! it's no longer Big Brother is it? it's not even a reality show anymore... I have been a huge fan of BB for the last 9 years, switching on the live feed when I got in from work and even missing EASTENDERS and CORRIE and other favourite programmes which I would never usually miss for the world!
This year I have to say I only watched the launch show, can't be bothered to get into it now, what is the point of just watching it for 1 hr every evening! I just can't get into the characters, they are all as much strangers as the day they went in. I won't be watching half as much this year & certainly will not be picking up the phone to vote. I have a feeling this BB may be the last!!!

What an absolute joke Chanel 4 and endemol are making of the Big Brother experience. The whole idea is that we watch them 24/7, isn't that why it is called "Big Brother"? We are now relegated to little more than a "Little Distant Relative"! Dictated to on forming opinions from heavily edited versions of housemates. I have witnessed personally from watching the live feed how previous housemates comments and actions have been put out of context in the edited chanel 4 show. Therefore I cannot take what they show as a true reflection of what is actually happening in the house, so for me personally it's a case of no live feed = no BB, shame as I used to watch in glee for hours at a time.

This is not the BB show we want, how can we vote if all we see is edited highlights which can be manipulated to give false impressions of the housemates. The live streaming allows us to form true opinions of the housemates - people watching from the comfort of your living room. Come on C4 give your viewers the BB we want and love!

Whats the point in Big Brother if there is no live feed, surely the whole idea is that it is a surveillance programme, and true fans of the show want to catch up on whats going on, and stick it on to watch if they want to at anytime of the day. Its what makes Big Brother what it is. Big Brother is on a downward slope, and as a true fan, i stay with the show, but by cancelling the live feed, it will make me loose interest as the key piece to the series has now been taken away. Bad move.

Why don,t they just charge a small monthly fee for those die hard fans who want to watch the show in its old format. No live feed takes away the very thing that it is trying to broadcast. People in a 24 hour environment where viewers can see their good and bad points. When the time comes to vote then you are voting for the right reasons instead of guessing that housemates have been edited in the correct manner.

The decision to cut the live feed undermines the whole concept of Big Brother and is a huge disappointment. Channel 4 say that the figures for viewing the live feed have dropped in recent years. This may be the case but they may also have seriously underestimated the number of fans who benefitted from the stalwart efforts of Digital Spy forum members posting live updates, even if they didn't have time to watch themselves. Poor show, Channel 4!

Channel 4 removed the live feed and instead give us a crappy website, with 1 minute update clips, that have huge 18 hour gaps between them. What's happening in the house?? We don't know without the 24/7 live feed. RIP BB!

Until we get daytime live feed back I am boycotting the show completely, along with the website and the drink. If we don't get it back I will boycott all C4 E4 and Film4 channels altogether.

As I said elsewhere I have Sky, so it's not like I don't have plenty of perfectly good choices.

I have been a loyal fan of this show since the beginning, devoting more hours to it than any other show on any other channel. It's been a unique experience.

This is how I've been rewarded. As for the 'exciting' video clips and the Twitter updates, neither are updated even hourly, and who wants to read updates when you can't see them for yourselves or watch clips that might be heavily edited?

Why can't they chop the 3-6am feed where they're all asleep and give us 1-4pm on E4 like they did for all the previous series? It wouldn't cost them anything and would shut a lot of people up. They could even end it when Deal or No Deal comes on.

Without the live daytime footage you don't feel connected to anyone and you won't tune into the 9pm show. BB10 might aswell not even be on as far as I'm concerned.

It's had its day and has become totally unwatchable in recent years. I think it would work better if it was only on for 3 weeks, the producers chose ordinary Joes instead of insane publicity seekers and showed it 24/7 on a dedicated channel like E4. Remember, it was exciting when it was new, but has been allowed to deteriorate into some unwatchable stodge that even Channel 4 is losing interest in. I say give it a rest for a few years and bring it back with my suggestions.

I have watched BB since day 1 and would dip in and out throughout the day to see what was going on. Anything I missed would be found out on the net. BB definitely isn't the same this year and its a shame as they seem like an interesting bunch. You learn nothing from an hour of edited highlights per day. Don't know whether I'll last the summer or just give up on it. What a shame.

Without the LF, the programme might as well be called 'People In A House', as viewers aren't able to watch it 24/7. The producers can now dictate what viewers watch, even pick their 'winner' if they so choose. Meanwhile, e-mails complaining about the lack of an LF are removed from the BB Fanzone... I fail to understand what the producers are trying to achieve with this decision.
To be fair, the producers have (I guess) probably ditched the LF to avoid all the adverse publicity and OFCOM interference that has followed the programme in the last few years.
Unfortunately, their decision to attempt ultimate control over all we see and hear will prove to be the nail in the coffin for 'Big Brother' as the viewers turn over in disgust at the way they are being treated.

I would urge anyone reading this NOT to vote in any eviction process during this series and send a real message to BB/Endemol... hit them in the pocket, where it will hurt them most!

How can channel 4 expect us to vote. I do have a life which means that i cannot sit up all night watching the small amount of live feed they have decided we deserve. Ive decide to watch tonight, it started at 23.05 it is now 02.25 and the housemates are sleeping, the program is on until 06.00 , what a waste of time. Channel 4 have destroyed this show , it should have been a celebration of the past 9 programs but instead it has turned into one big farce. Channel 4 is sticking two fingers up at the fans and it is time for a paper like the NOTW to get behind the fans and show channel 4 that they are making a big mistake. It is not a crime to enjoy reality tv, those that do not like it , fine do not watch, go and get on with your busy life and leave us saddos to complain. Although the fact that you are emailing to comment on us commenting kind of makes you a little bit sad aswell. 14 weeks of this type of live feed is going to completely kill off the show. Channel 4 should not be getting away with it. NOTW we need your back up to get the live feed back for the BB fans.

Its what keeps interest in the show. Radio DJ's talk about it, newspapers print story's and pictures from it, internet forums keep people up to date about it.

This is gonna really ruin the show. I watched the launch lastnite but just couldnt be bothered to watch the show tonite. I watched five minutes of live on E4 but soon realised i had no idea what was going on because i couldnt keep up to date during the day. So for the first time ever i cant get into BB. It WAS my favourite TV show.

I cannot comprehend the mentality of the producers of BB at channel 4 .
I turned on the live feed on E4 tonight without a clue of what's happened in the house all day .
I don't want to go back and forth to the blooming C4 website all day to check what's happening in the house .
I think they should bring in a payment option for the red button , i for one would pay £5 to watch the BB series live straming when i want .
THIS is a TV show not youtube i want to watch it on my TV not my computer .
Being disabled and not able to get out much i really enjoyed watching the LIVEFEED of big brother . NO not 24 hours a day but it was nice to sit down and flick it on when i wanted .
REALITY TV my arse - this year will be a total farce .
I have now turned off the livefeed on E4 cos am totally lost to what is going on and didn't watch the highlights show as i already know what happened last night .

NEWS OF THE WORLD can you please make this topic a big spread on the sunday paper, and also get to the bottom of why they are no showing any daytime live coverage!and dont let them tell you its because people watch the clips online because EVERYONE prefers to watch it live. please help save my faveourite show, bcos its gonna die a lonely death otherwise !

i think there should be some sort of comprimise, maybe if they are unable to bring back the 'red button'. then they should atleast show a few hours of coverage on e4 during the day. they only show dumb repeats of smallville and some other nonsense which everyones seen a 1000 times before anyway!

what the hell are the producers playing at!!?? why no live feed during the day its ridiculous! if they think that this will improve viewing figures for the highlights show, then they are completely deluded, they will drop dramatically, even a half-witted moron could understand that!i cant be bothered anymore, every year they find some way of killing the show, i never thought it would be this early into the series though!

Have waited for a long time for BB10, have watched every year and love the live streaming, getting to know the housemates and see them having fun etc that don't get covered on nightly show. What is the point of a reality show when we can't see them interacting and getting on each others nerves etc. I am gutted and feel cheated, would even subscribe to watch livestream if they would let us. Things are bad enough in this country let us have a bit of pleasure.

I had a poll at work today (a small company) and everyone who usually watches Big Brother said they will not watch it this year if there's no live streaming. It is the only way to watch a "reality" programme. Who wants to watch something that has been edited to show people how the producers want us to see them. Not worth watching and certainly not worth spending money to vote. If there's no live feed, then this will definitely be the last big brother as there will be no viewers. Think again Channel 4.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the whole point of Big Brother supposed to be the fact we're always watching 24/7? Not some edited biased highlights to suit agendas.

The whole concept of Big Brother is that people are watched 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That is the only thing that sets it apart from other Reality TV Shows. Big Brother itself is based (loosely) on George Orwell's 1984, a society in which everything is scrutinised and watched, with Big Brother always watching.

Take that away, and what do you have? Some clueless producers who rely on tacky gimmicks and shoddily-executed 'twists', with all the good parts of the show left on the editing room floor.

It's a shame. They've completely shot themselves in the foot. They have finally after about three years managed to find a pretty decent, interesting bunch of housemates who will unfortunately be made into the characters that Endemol want them to be.

The Live Feed needs to come back. Not just for the fans, but for the producers. The BB10 Launch Night was the lowest watched Launch Night in 10 years... doesn't that say it all? The backlash of axing the Live Feed coupled with the poor advertising campaigns have caused viewers to switch off.

In conclusion, I'd advise you to run a story on this subject matter. The Live Feed MUST return in order for Big Brother to have any social relevance or significance on television. If it doesn't come back, well, there's always The Apprentice.

as a loyal fan since day one i have to say i feel deflated this morning. big brother with out the live feed is like a magician without magic. people were willing to pay for the feed yet it feels like the producers have stuffed cotton wool in their ears when it comes to listening to the fans. can they honestly expect people to pay money to vote for housemates we hardly get to see. i am disappointed and embarrassed that we are the only country in the world without 24 hour live feed. big brother is about watching people around the clock.

Knowing there would be no live feed I turned off after the 3rd person went into the house. It is hard to not watch it as its BB and we all want to watch and get hooked but if all we get is the highlights and the feed after midnight then how can we know what is happening.

How can we get to know the housemates? How can we make our own minds up? How can we see those funny little moments which make the show what it is.

I have watched since the very beginning but this series will go the way of the last celeb effort, I will just give up and not watch.

I live in Europe and pay for Sky only for E4 so i can watch BB...i am now going to cancel my subs..not worth it and wont watch it now..we wont get to know the housemates as we used to...what a dreadful thing to do to avid BB;ers

There are expecting to increase last years ratings so they can continue bringing brother to our screens. Then now the turn off the 24/7 feed, channel 4 you've lost the plot and I know you are not going to gain veiwers but with that will loose a lot more.
24/7 viewing gives the viewer a true feeling of the house through out the day and of those in there by cutting it to just a one hour show at night on C4 and then a few hours of E4 no one is going to have any reason to be intrested.
NOTW we'll done for letting the public know as for sure Channel 4 was not going to tell anyone!

I am discusted that the red button service has been taken away from us true bb fans.
Every year bb has taken something away from us and restricted us.Now they can choose who they want to win and just script it without anyone knowing the truth.

What makes Big Brother for me is the live feed. I have watched Big Brother during the daytime for the last nine years, I want to make up my own mind about housemates, as we all know the

I am totally gutted that there will not be broadcasting live feed. It spoilt Celebrity BB and has made me very sad that this years main show is not live 24/7!. I hate the edited nightly show- it does not give a true reflection of the housemates. My love was that whatever the time I could press the red button & have BB housemates there.Now it will simply be jusy another mediocre TV show instead of a brilliant experiment !! Without the live feed I will not have the interest and BB will fail.

Dermott left BBLB I watched a few BBLB's that was the end of that for me.

Last year the whole BB Website was changed it was awful that was the end of that for me.

Now.... NO LIVE FEED... TO SAVE COSTS!!!!!! The house is a shell they have already saved a fortune. Why couldn't we pay to watch it via the red button? I've paid to watch it on Real Player before, Hmmm because BB will edit it any which way they want & please don't get me started on them showing it live during the night those of us who have full time job's won't be able to watch that, the lay abouts will be rubbing their hands with glee.

I'll be watching Peter & Katie instead and have a summer this year.

I think Channel 4 might be making an error, with the high ammount of people out of work the potemtial day time viewing audience could be massive, which possibley would result in the highest viewing figures in years, I am devastated by their decision not to go 24/7, this programme is a lot of peoples favourite, how can they justify the comment Davina makes by saying " forget going out this summer " when no one is granted access to the live feed. I would be willing to pay a fee to view the live feed. Please Channel 4 have a heart and make a lot of people happy. Love from Brian xxx .

Thats just it, we dont want to watch them sleeping we want to watch them interacting with each other during the day!!!!!

Heres a question....IF BB are claiming that the cut in LF is down to lack of funds, then why is it their airing the LF during the hours between 1.00am and 6.00am and not cutting those hours where housemates will certainly be sleeping (and that will definately be wasted money) and air those 5 hours at a more appropriate time of day?????????

Say noon or 7.00pm till midnight? Its because it has absolutely NOTHING to do with money!!!!! Its all about manipulation of the viewers and nothing more, they want to be fully incontrol and not have people telling them what their jobs are. But a complete amateur would know that cutting the LF is a complete Joke. Its the whole concept of the show. Lets hope The BBC or someone of the like take the show over and give it a new lease of life!!!!!!

BB is glad (these days) to get rid of the 'live feed' because it has ultimate control over what gets said and done in reality...editing! Gone will be all the real life 'equality' fights...racist/sexist and all the other 'ists and ''isms and 'ics.
BB is censorship designed to make the young mind feel guilty and induce in their psyche a
feeling of guilt and unfairness which equals control.
Never before has Big Brother been more like the George (Eric Blair) Orwell than it is now. Read Brave New World by Aldous Huxely now kids.

I'm not going to vote if I can't make my own mind up about people and their personalities - having watched things happen on live streaming and then seeing how C4 cut and edit them to be shown on the main programme in the past, I know that C4 just wants to control our voting - well TOUGH! no more money from me - I doubt if I'll even watch it this time.
