Peaches Geldof sucked up so much coke we nicknamed her Dyson

THE appalling extent of Peaches Geldof's secret drug-taking can today be exposed by the News of the World.

The 19-year-old has always denied using cocaine and following the wild ways of her tragic mum Paula Yates.

But a former friend has told us how she regularly hoovered up so much coke she got the nickname Dyson, after the vacuum cleaner.

In a sensational interview rock drummer Snell-real name Neal Eldridge-revealed Peaches:

  • SNORTED line after line of cocaine at rock gig parties.

  • GREEDILY grabbed whole trays of the drug.

  • SNIFFED crushed-up ecstasy.

  • BEGGED for Valium to help her "come down" from her bingeing.

The revelations come two weeks after we revealed Peaches was caught up in a drug deal on tape.

Police quizzed the daughter of Live Aid hero Sir Bob Geldof over footage of her handing a pusher up to £190, saying: "I'm going to need Valium tomorrow after this."

Snell, 30, witnessed Peaches' manic drug-taking when she started hanging out with his band Towers Of London and began dating singer Donny Tourette.

Snell said: "Peaches is the biggest hypocrite I know. She would go out on a drink and drug bender with us, then days later publicly claim to have a squeaky-clean, drug-free image. Every time the cocaine came out, she was there first to hoover it up."

Referring to the drug-deal tape, Snell said: "In a way it was a surprise to see her buy drugs. I never saw her once pay for or bring anything along to any of our nights out."

The drummer first got close to Peaches when she watched Towers Of London at the Reading Festival in August 2006.

A few months later Peaches was one of a few close pals invited to lead singer Tourette's hideaway hotel-Sopwell House in St Albans, Herts-when he walked out of Celebrity Big Brother after just four days.

Snell said: "There was lots of cocaine around the place-on menus and a glass coffee table.

"Within seconds of her arrival Peaches sank to her knees with a rolled £20 note in her hand.

"She stuffed it deep into her nose, dipped her head towards the coffee table and just snorted a whole chunk of white powder.

"Then one of us handed her a room service menu. She didn't quite understand why, then saw the white powder. She grabbed the note, balanced the menu in her left hand and snorted another line. She wiped her nose with the back of her index finger.

"From that moment Peaches turned into the centre of attention. She urged us to get more coke and made sure she was first up for another hit."

Stunned Snell added: "Someone then got some crushed ecstasy out and put it on one of the menus. Everyone was talking about it, saying this drug was not our usual.

"Peaches peered at it then she snatched it and took an almighty sniff. Her face went red and her eyes rolled. She quickly sat down on the side of the bed to steady herself. It was one of the few times she stopped talking non-stop. A few minutes later she reckoned she needed some more cocaine to steady her nerves. I believe she snorted at least ten lines over the course of that night."

Three months later, Snell witnessed another Peaches drug blow-out at Donny's flat in Shepherd's Bush, west London.

He said: "It was meant to be a lads' night in, but at around 1am Peaches rang up and asked to come over.

"Peaches basically ignored us when she walked in and clapped eyes on the coke. It was lined up on a CD case on a coffee table.

"She sank to her knees, put the gear on her lap, picked up a rolled-up gig flyer and ducked her head towards the cocaine. She kept egging on Donny to get more cocaine out. She was insatiable.

"She made a real effort to wipe her nose after each hit. She was paranoid about being caught with tell-tale signs. Then Peaches started panicking about going back home. She asked me for some Valium to help her sleep. "I gave her a 10mg Valium and it calmed her down. Soon after she left."

Snell first realised Peaches took drugs just days after meeting for the first time at the Reading Festival.

He met up with her and Donny at the Boogaloo pub in north London to watch former Sex Pistols star Glen Matlock.

Snell said: "Peaches' hands were all over Donny, but his mind was on drugs. He asked me to go for a 'livener' in the toilets.

"We went in and pulled out a wrap of coke which we took. Then he said to me, 'Can I get one to give to Peaches?'

"A few minutes later she gave the wrap back to me and had this naughty schoolgirl look about her."

The first time Snell actually SAW Peaches take cocaine was two months later, after Towers Of London supported The New York Dolls at Kentish Town Forum in north London.

He said: "Lines of cocaine were cut up and laid out on a mirror. It was passed between everyone. When the coke got round to Peaches, she tried to hide what she was doing, turning away.

"She seemed to know what she was doing as the coke disappeared quickly enough. That was the first time she took drugs in front of us and it clearly played on her mind not to be spotted.

When the mirror was restocked with gear, Peaches started over. It is an unwritten law that the band go first, but she was in before any of us.

"I remember joking to one of the lads, 'You better get in there quick, before Dyson does it all.' She certainly can take her drugs. Perhaps she inherited that from her mother."

Peaches' junkie mum Paula died of a heroin overdose in 2000 aged 41.

Snell said of Peaches: "She'll think this drug scandal is cool. If she is not careful she will head the same way as her mum."
