IT'S all gurn wrong for gorgeous George if all he can pull these days is a funny face.

Clooney looks like a loony, snarling and growling as he reads through the script for his next film Men Who Stare At Goats.

As he rehearsed his role on a beach in Puerto Rico, the 47-year-old also topped up his tan in the 31C heat and took time out to send a few texts.

A holidaymaker who spotted George's face-pulling antics said: "As far as acting's concerned, it was pretty disturbing stuff. Whoever his character is in the film, they must get really angry."

Men Who Stare At Goats is about a soldier stationed in Iraq who claims to have psychic powers.

The movie also stars Kevin Spacey, Ewan McGregor and Jeff Bridges and is due for a 2010 release.

Which gives George ample time to take that look off his face . .
