Mini-Me joins Celeb BB

SEX scandal dwarf Mini-Me has signed up for Celebrity Big Brother.

Tiny Hollywood actor Verne Troyer, 39, will join other famous faces in the BB household tipped to include Sir Cliff Richard, 67 and troubled soul diva Whitney Houston.

Troyer - who is just 2ft 8in tall - shot to fame in Tinseltown hits such as the Austin Powers series and Men in Black.

But the pint-sized star also hit the headlines when a private sex tape featuring him romping with his ex-lover Ranae Shrider, 22, was leaked on DVD.

Seething Troyer launched a £12m lawsuit against celeb pawn broker Kevin Blatt, who claimed he had leaked the footage, to stop it being distributed.

Troyer has also been in rehab because of his heavy drinking following the collapse of his marriage to yoga instructor Genevieve Gallen, 28.

He said: "I drank my own weight in alcohol and it almost killed me."

Troyer has said he hopes his size does not count against him in the BB household.

"A lot of people just look at somebody of my stature as being an elf or leprechaun," he said.

"I'd rather they look beyond that. I can do many things."
