X-Factor: Alan's 'faker' showdown
X factor contestant Alan Turner is already a professional singer with a booking agent, according to reports182,000 applied and now only 24 acts remain to fight it out for a chance to
win get one of the coveted 12 places in the live studio shows.
Over the course of two days, the Judges invite the contestants to their holiday homes as the 24 battle it out for one of twelve places in the live studio shows.
With the help of celebrity advisors, each Judge must now work alone to each pick their favourite final three acts from the six that have made it through to the last stage of the audition process, the Judges Houses.
Six acts have made it through to represent each of the four categories, the 14 - 24 Girls, the 14-24 Boys, the 25 and Over's and the Groups, and this year they arrive at the Judges Houses with no idea who their Judge will be until they reveal themselves at their homes.
This year representing the 14 - 24 Girls is Cheryl Cole, who has invited the six girls to an exclusive villa in Cannes, South of France where, with the help of fellow Girls Aloud band mate Kimberley Walsh she will have the hard choice of picking between: Amy Connelly, Hannah Bradbeer, Anastasia Baker, Laura White, Diana Vickers and Alexandra Burke,
Representing the 14 - 24 Boys this year is Simon Cowell, who has invited the boys out to Barbados, where with the help of pop star Sinitta, he must pick from: Austin Drage, Alan Turner, Scott Bruton, Mali McCalla, Eoghan Quigg and Liam Payne.
Representing the Over's category this year is last years triumphant Judge Dannii Minogue who is joined by Spice Girl Emma Bunton in St Tropez, who will give her expert opinion over the six acts representing the Over's category, Rachel Hylton, Daniel Evans, Louise Heatley, Ruth Lorenzo, Susie Furlonger and James Williams.
And finally presiding over the Groups this year is music mogul Louis Walsh, and with some of the best groups to ever audition for the X Factor Louis is confident he has this years winner, but first, along with help from Westlife crooner Shane Filan, they must pick from, JLS, Bad Lashes, Girl Band, 4Instinct, Desire and Priority. Louis takes the groups to haunted Castle Leslie in Ireland.

On Sunday night's show its all down to the Judges to deliberate with help from their guest mentor, and with only 12 places available, 12 acts will be facing bad news.

simon cowel made a big big mistake not chosing ALAN TURNER to go through. he is a great singer with charm and personality. ok he shoulnt have told his story on tv but he did but that dont make him a bad person. good luck ALAN in all you do

X-Factor this year is complete rubbish, Most the acts that got threw CANT sing Sharon Osbourne should still be on the show, and its a FIX the whole show is just one big FIX one of the girls that got threw was in that band The 411 so she shouldnt be on here that bloody Austin (Cry baby) was in a band the only 100% genuine one is Alexandra Burke if anyone should win it its got to be her she deserves it oh and as for Rachel OMFG she needs to get over herself i cant beleive she got threw see what i mean by a fix i cant beleive Amy has gone she was good

can somone plz tell me why rachael is threw after the girl from hope last year got kicked out for having a criminal record??????????
also why last yr they went on about a good role model for kids watching the show bet her own kids who r in care dont think so??
and thought amy deserved a place gutted she didnt get threw.
dont see why racheal is threw yea she can sing but she got a bigger criminal record and is def not a role modle for young kids

Sick and moree sick and tired of Austin crying like a baby "ALL" of the time. I wish he had something to cry for, eg a broken fingernail, going grey, or perhaps a nasty spot right above his chops

I usually have a fave when the auditions are on but this year I think some of the girls are fab but also some of the boys, Austin and Mali are great and the girls I like Amy Laura and Hanna, the groups I am not sure but the overs theres only Rachel thats a real amazing talent, I hope they pt the right ones through

fed up with all the crying and drama, the x factor gets me so mad!! otoh, amy really surprises me every time she sings, and i feel she deserves a place in the top 3... at the cost of diana, who i feel is a big fake with no talent... but i bet she'll get through cos she's 'different', but she'll be the one who messes up every week. i also really hope ruth gets through, but i think it will be between her and daniel and he'll win cos of his bloody sob story. 4 instinct should also get through, they're different and they can all sing... but louis hates kids (see 'same difference'!) and he'll put 2 girl bands through and jls. imo desire aren't as strong as girl band and bad lashes.

ooops simons made a boo boo with Mali mccalla this guy has got the whole package is father is one of the best singers in the uk, being the lead singer with real bands like Morrissey Mullen, Moon, and the Dave Lewis, just cheque him out on utube Noel Mccalla. i must say Simon is the best judge he very seldom gets it wrong. Well done Mali you are a star
