Kurt Cobain smoked in joint

A German artist today claimed to have obtained Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's ashes and revealed she plans to SMOKE them in a cannabis joint.

Barmy Natascha Stellmach won't reveal how she came by the remains of the iconic singer - saying only that it's "kind of magic". We revealed earlier this year that they had been stolen from wife Courtney Love's Hollywood home.

She had kept the singer's ashes in a pink teddy-bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair There has been no confirmation that the ashes are genuinely those of the dead rock legend.

Kurt, DAVE GROHL and KRIST NOVOSELIC mesmerised the music world in the 90s with hits like In Bloom and Smells Like Teen Spirit.

The band has sold more than 62 million albums worldwide, with classic album Nevermind selling more than ten million copies alone-it's still regarded by critics as one of the greatest albums ever made.

But in 1994, tragedy struck when Kurt killed himself with a shotgun while high on heroin. Some of his ashes were scattered in a Buddhist temple in New York, others were scattered in the Wishkah River near his home in Washington State, and the rest remained with Courtney before being pinched.

Now Natascha says she will put the legend's remains in a canabbis cigarette and smoke them at a secret location in Berlin as the final part of a macabre so-called artwork about death and celebrity.

She told Art World Magazine the stunt will release Cobain "into the ether from the media circus".

How dare she smoke Kurt's ashes.
Its bad enough that he was murdered and did NOT commit suicide. Look it up.

I am sure Curt's daughter Frances Bean will love to hear of some weirdo desecrating her father's remains. The remains were stolen anyway, so why no theft charges?
