THIS is the firefighter who broke gorgeous Megan Fox's heart and made her run into the arms of a female stripper.

Straight-talking actress Megan revealed last week how she enjoyed a lesbian fling with a girl named Nikita after her childhood sweetheart dumped her.

Now for the first time we can reveal firefighter Ben Leahy was the man who astonishingly ditched the sexy brunette and today he reveals it was because she was TOO hot for him to handle.

For while most men can only dream of sharing a steamy night with the sizzling hot star lucky Ben spent three YEARS sharing 22-year-old Megan's bed only to ditch her when her wild ways left him cold.

Stripper

Speaking from his home in Vero Beach, Florida, Ben said: "It did not surprise me one bit to hear that when we broke up Megan ran straight into the arms of a female stripper.

"Because that was typical Megan.

"She was wild, very sexy and totally into exploring anything.

"So if Megan says she bedded a female stripper called Nikita I know she will not be lying. It is the kind of thing which would have totally turned her on.

"At first I loved that side of Megan but then three years down the line she just seemed to get wilder and more obsessed with making it in Hollywood and in the end it broke my heart but I had to let her go. I just could not handle her and knew she was way out of my league.

"And if I am honest back then I was more interested in fishing."

Now in an exclusive interview Ben, 24, also reveals how the Transformers babe:

• WAS so desperate to spend naughty nights with him she would sneak out of her parents house late at night by climbing out the window and using stacked cookie crates as a ladder;
• TOLD Ben he was the love of her life only to then cheat on him with an American soap actor;
• WAS obsessed with making it as a Hollywood star and begged Ben to go to Tinsletown with her;

Megan set men's and women's pulses racing when she revealed in an interview with GQ magazine last week: "That year my boyfriend broke up with me, and I decided - oh man, sorry, mommy! - that I was in love with this girl that worked at the Body Shop.

Lap dances

"I decided that I was going to get her to love me back, and I went out of my way to create a relationship with this girl, a stripper named Nikita.

"I turned into a weird middle-aged man ...I'd get lap dances so I could get to know her."

But their relationship didn't last very long, Megan said, adding: "You know when you're pushing something and it escalates much too rapidly and it explodes after only two weeks?"

And as the man once knew Megan - who is currently starring alongside Kirsten Dunst and Simon Pegg in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People - better than anybody, Ben says he is not surprised at all by Megan's lesbian tendencies.

He said: "Megan loved looking at women's bodies.

"She just had no inhibitions and made no bones about the fact she liked to fantasise about being with a woman.

"There were many times she would look at magazines for hours pointing out which actresses she thought were hot. Angelina Jolie was high up on her list.

"She would say: 'Look at her body Ben it's gorgeous don't you think?'

"She just loved women who were not conventionally pretty and looked like they were into anything. Because that's what Megan was like.

"Back then she never said she actually wanted to have sex with a girl but I knew it was one of her fantasies because she told me.

"So I am not in the slightest bit shocked one of the first people she slept with after I had ended our relationship was a woman.

"It doesn't upset me though, it just makes me realise I was right, she was too wild for me."

Inseparable

Ben and Megan fell in love after meeting at Catholic high school Morningside in sleepy Port St Lucie, Florida, when they were both teenagers.

And for the next three years Ben tells how the pair were inseparable.

Ben said: "Even then Megan was like no other girl at school, " tells Ben. She was even then much more beautiful than any girl I had ever seen. But what I noticed more was Megan's totally bad-ass attitude. She just did not care what anyone thought of her.

"While most girls are into make-up and shoes, Megan was just a total rebel who loved to hang out with the boys and luckily her favourite boy was me.

"Megan and I spent every minute together and she loved doing anything and everything with me. We used to go fishing and surfing, total boys things which Megan loved.

"But while she was a total tomboy Megan also knew how to drive me wild to using her female charms.

"She would just have to look at me with those huge eyes and tell me she loved me and my heart would just leap.

Kissing

"Even just kissing her was magical, she had the most amazing full lips you just got lost in them.

"Then sometimes she would surprise me by changing out of the T-shirts and jeans she would always wear into a tight dress and I would feel like the luckiest boy in the world.

"Megan's body has always been totally hot. Slim but curvy in all the right places and she was never shy about showing it off."

And as the pair grew older Ben tells how he got to see more and more of Megan's body when she would creep out late at night to be with the boy she loved.

Ben says: "Megan started to really rebel against her parents who were very strict.

"She would have these huge arguments, then call me to say she had run away. And then when she was feeling really naughty on a few occasions she told me to come to the house late at night.

Shriek

"And while her parents were sleeping she would order me to stack cookie boxes up to her window so she could climb down from her bedroom window and spend a few hours with me.

"We had some amazing nights laying under the stars. She would giggle and shriek with laughter knowing that while her parents were in bed she was outside doing all sorts with me.

"Which was totally up Megan's street because she loved doing anything which was naughty.

"I was Megan's first love and she was mine so those times were extra special as we were doing things together we had never done before.

"When I went to see Transformers at the cinema after we had split up I just kept smiling to myself as I watched all these men lusting at her body in the cinema knowing I had touched it and seen it many times in real life.

"And believe me she is even more sexy in the flesh than what she is on the big screen.

"We were just totally head over heels in love and could not get enough of each other."

But when in 2003 Megan decided to move to Los Angeles to try and realise her dream of becoming a Hollywood star, Ben tells how their idyllic life soon began to unravel.

"When Megan left it was heartbreaking," he said.

"We had been inseparable for three years and then suddenly we lived thousands of miles apart.

"He manager told her if she wanted to realise her dream she had to go, so with a heavy heart she did.

"I'll never forget the day I waved her off she clung to me and cried her heart out. She begged and begged me to go with her and said she had even packed some of my stuff with her so I would not have to pack so much if I decided to go out.

"For a couple of months we desperately tried to keep our romance alive by talking for hours on the phone every night and once Megan even flew back to see me as she said she missed me so much.

"Then she would send me these letters. One of them said: 'I will always love you...as long as I am living'.

"And in another letter she enclosed a self-portrait she had drawn of herself with a tear rolling down her cheek.

"I don't mind admitting I missed her like hell too and really believed one day soon I would go and join her in California."

But Ben says the glamour of Hollywood soon began to take its grip on Megan and turned her into a woman he knew would one day break his heart if he did not end their relationship first.

And not long after Megan had landed her first small part alongside Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage drama Queen Ben knew their days as a couple were numbered.

He said: "I always knew Megan was going to be a big star. She just had this aura around her and this incredible sexy irresistible quality which I knew would make her famous.

"And at first I loved she had the balls to follow her dreams. But then she began to turn into a person I did not recognise anymore.

"Night after night she would go out partying and talk of people and places I could not imagine and never wanted to.

"I am not someone who loves bars and clubs and my idea of heaven is sat on the side of a river with my fishing rod.

"I am a total country boy.

"So suddenly Megan's new world began to sound like it was on a different planet to me and I knew I would not fit in and never wanted to anyway.

"As the weeks went by Megan seemed to be becoming more and more obsessed with all that Hollywood had to offer and I could sense she was drifting away from me."

But the final straw for Ben came when he discovered Megan had started to spend more time with US soap actor David Gallagher.

"All of a sudden all Megan talked about was David this, David that," says Ben.

Jealous

"And I was totally p****d off. We were still together and all she talked about was him and I don't mind admitting I was incredibly jealous.

"Megan insisted he was just a friend but I knew deep down she was lying to me. I knew Megan inside out and could sense she had really fallen for this guy.

"She was this young, pretty girl from Florida who was just so impressed by everything Hollywood had to offer.

"And so when she told me David had taken her with him to buy a brand new Viper car I knew I was a goner.

"Megan said: "How cool is that Ben?'

"Obviously I was furious and heart broken but knew she was just way out of my league.

"Megan was hard to control when she lived near by, but thousands of miles away amongst all these rich actors I did not stand a chance.

"And so I called her and told her I thought it was best we went our separate ways. Megan begged me not to end it but even she must have known deep down we were never going to last.

"Our worlds had gone in such totally different directions.

"We both cried but still today I know I made the right decision.

"As a firefighter I would never have been able to afford to live in Los Angeles and I am sure as hell not the kind of man who would ever have been content to live off her money. I have way too much pride for that.

"So now I just am content to keep on fishing and make do with seeing Megan on the big screen. And at the end of the day I am just so proud of all she has achieved."
