POSH NOSH: What Victoria Beckham ate

WHEN super-skinny Posh said she fancied a bite to eat her aides knew she meant just that . . . A BITE.

So they called a swanky restaurant and demanded the star be served tiny morsels-with NO oils, NO sauce, NO dressing, NO butter and NO salt.

The bizarre list resulted in a two-course dinner of just 302 calories-700 fewer than the 1,000 recommended main meal intake for a busy, working mum-of-three.

HAVE YOUR SAY: Does Posh set kids a good example?

And Posh didn't even eat all the food-tuna for starters, prawns for main course.

But she wasn't so bothered about her booze- knocking back FOUR glasses of champagne totalling 523 cals.

Last night nutritionist Dr Ian Campbell said: "I could not advocate this kind of dietary approach to anyone.

"It's far too fussy, even obsessive, and completely un- done by the alcohol intake."

Bill

Victoria was with 20 guests at Manchester's Ithaca Japanese restaurant- the night before the her and hubby David Beckham's Signature perfume was launched last month. The £10,000 bill was picked up by their perfume firm Coty.

But cooks at the swish eaterie-whose customers include rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West plus Man Utd stars-were gobsmacked the day before when they were handed a long list of foods Posh would not touch.

A source said: Everything normal like sauce and oil was off the menu-all the things a chef needs to make great food.

"Then when the courses arrived on the night there was an inspection to check the demands had been met."

For starters Posh chose an £8.50 dish-tuna sashimi slices with edamame beans but without the sauce. For the main course, she had the £22.50 jumbo Madagascan prawns with salad. The prawns are usually marinated and coated with dressing but Posh wanted them chargrilled only.

She then refused dessert.

On the right is a list of how the calories totted up.

Dr Campbell, who founded the National Obesity Forum, said: "The average woman needs 2,000cals a day, with the average evening meal 600 to 1,000cals.

"I find it surprising anyone would go as far as to avoid any oils and sauces but then top up with more than 500cals of alcohol."

Ithaca restaurant said: "We don't comment on our clientele."
