Peaches wed due to dead ma grief

PEACHES GELDOF got married because she was depressed, her sister has claimed.

Model PIXIE, 17, said their family are still scarred from the overdose death of mum PAULA YATES in 2000.

She said of Peaches: “She’s got problems just like all of us have about what happened to my mum.

“I’ve been in therapy not long ago and she has had a hard time.

“That’s why she has done drugs and why this wedding happened too. We’re all depressed in our family.” Wild child Peaches, 19, wed US rocker MAX DRUMMEY, 23, in Las Vegas two weeks ago.

She later flew to Majorca to join furious dad SIR BOB and Pixie on holiday.

Peaches has had angry showdowns with the Live Aid hero and has not yet left the £4million luxury villa.

But a pal of Peaches, who recently collapsed from a drugs overdose, insisted she IS in love.

The friend said: “She insists it’s not a sham.

“The flash point will be when Bob meets Max for the first time this week.”
