'Robbie Williams gave me doctor's note before we had sex'

NAKED and trembling with anticipation, pretty Suzanne Coppin gazed up at the famous face hovering over her as she lay on the Egyptian cotton sheets of his king-size bed.

Robbie Williams had charmed her this far. What sweet nothings would he come up with next as, inevitably, they made love?

It certainly never occurred to Suzanne they would be: "Don't worry, I haven't got a sex disease. Would you like to see my doctor's note?"

Though a bit unconventional as seduction patter goes, it was typical of the brief time she spent in the pop superstar's tortured world.

Earlier this year, 33-year-old Robbie was spotted holding hands with a mystery girl at his local video store in LA's posh Bel-Air district.

Nobody has been able to identify the girl...until now. Because we can reveal Suzanne is that girl.

And though they had only just met, Robbie had already confided in her the demons which haunt his life.

She told how the Angels singer:

FEARS every day he will succumb to drugs and drink again.

FLED to LA five years ago believing everyone in Britain hates him.

TRAWLS websites reading hate messages about himself, further fuelling his paranoia.

HAS given up on ever having children, claiming he has not had a proper girlfriend for nine years.

IS obsessed with dieting after being dubbed Blobby Williams and is addicted to calorie-free ice lollies.

SLAMMED rumours about his sexuality, declaring: "I am not gay."

Suzanne, 31, recalled the moment on Robbie's bed when she asked him to wear a condom.

"He said he had just been tested by the doctor as he was so convinced he had got something because of all the women he had slept with and was amazed when it had come back clean.

Struggle

"It was then he told me, 'I'm not gay either, despite what everyone thinks.'

"He even got up and offered to go and get his computer to show me the letter from his doctor but something in his eyes told me he was not lying so I said I was happy to believe him."

For the next hour Suzanne experienced what she calls "the best sex of my life."

She said: "Robbie's room was like a teenager's with a scruffily made bed and clothes piled on the floor.

"But instead of flannel sheets and ripped jeans, his bedroom had the best white Egyptian cotton sheets and designer clothes.

"But none of that mattered from the moment his hands touched my body.

"I didn't even care he had the TV playing in the background with a shark documentary on.

"All that mattered were his hands and lips running all over my body.

"It was total rock star sex and everything you could imagine from one of the sexiest men on the planet.

"We did it in every position imaginable and at the last count I had in my head we had done ten.

"He was on top, then I was on top, then we did it with him behind.

"At one point Robbie carried me in his arms like I was a feather and made love to me while my legs were round his waist and he stood up.

"He made me moan with desire. Robbie clearly loved sex and I loved every minute of having sex with Robbie.

"After almost an hour of having sex all over his bedroom, on his Ottoman sofa and on his white carpet, we laid in each other's arms and cuddled."

Suzanne, who met Robbie in August just five months after he left rehab in Arizona for addiction to anti-depressants, added: "On the surface Robbie is sexy, charismatic, jokey and fun and I loved being with him.

"But once you get to know him you realise what a troubled man he is. His addictions are far from behind him.

" It is a struggle for him to stay out of trouble every second of his life. He is just so vulnerable and said to me, 'When will I be free from this hell?'

"He says he fled Britain as he is convinced his own people hate him and told me he has not had a girlfriend in years because he can't trust anyone.

"He lives in this palatial mansion in the most exclusive neighbourhood in Los Angeles, but is haunted in it by the demons which control every minute of his life.

"Cradling me in his arms, he said, 'Every day's a struggle. I've given millions to charity thinking it will make me happy but nothing ever does.

"'Every chapter of my life is spent fighting another addiction and I am so tired of it. First it was booze, then it was drugs. And trying to stay thin is a never-ending battle.'

"My heart just ached for him."

Suzanne, who played a waitress in telly show The Sopranos, met Robbie on a night out at LA's posh Chateau Marmont hotel.

She recalled: "Robbie was making the rounds on the outside terrace trying to charm every woman he came across. So when he passed my table he jumped at the chance when I invited him to sit down. From the minute he joined me he was incredibly charming and unbelievably honest.

"I told him I thought he was gorgeous and he seemed genuinely surprised and delighted like he had never received such a compliment before.

"I don't drink as I am a recovering alcoholic. He noticed that straight away and was delighted when I told him why I was drinking water. He later told me he thought it was no coincidence we had met and that he thought he had found a kindred spirit in me.

"He immediately talked very openly about his life, how he had just got out of rehab, had not had a drink for five years but had been treated for addiction to anti-depressants. But it was not all doom and gloom and he was making me die laughing with his wicked sense of humour."

After an hour Robbie got up to go-but not before giving Suzanne his mobile number.

She said: "Within seconds I sent him a cheeky text which read, 'Hold me'. He texted back, 'Which lovely is this?' I replied, 'The blonde.' He then texted, 'Go home, feed your dog, put your pyjamas on and come over to my house for a cuddle. I promise not to make any sexual advances unless you want me to.'

"I didn't want to be one of those girls who slept with him the moment they met so I said no."

But when Robbie called the following day and asked Suzanne to go over to his house to watch a movie she could not resist.

She said: "I was so nervous when I arrived. He lives in this gated estate where some of the richest people in LA live and there I was in my battered red Saab. But he could not have been any more normal when he welcomed me at the gate.

"It was a total bachelor pad with very few personal items. He said I would have to drive to the video store as he still had not managed to pass his test."

That was the store they were photographed in. Suzanne said: "From the moment Robbie got into the car he behaved like we were a couple.

"Even when other people could see us in the video store it did not stop him holding my hand and kissing me. I don't mind admitting I was fast falling for him and completely smitten by the affectionate way he was with me."

It was when they got back to Robbie's mansion after renting the movie DeJa Vu that Suzanne first became aware of Robbie's battle to stay thin.

She said: "Before we sat down to watch the film Robbie had his butler make us up two plates of ribs and corn on the cob.

"While he waited he ate two sugar-free ice lollies and told me he loved them as they did not have any calories in them. His freezer was huge but all that seemed to be in it were these lollies.

"He must have eaten ten that night. Once we had sat down in his living room, in front of the biggest TV screen I have ever seen, he would tell me the calorie content of what he was about to put in his mouth. He said he had battled with his weight all his life and was determined never to be fat again."

After eating his last rib, Robbie pulled Suzanne on top of him and kissed her. She said: "As he kissed me again and again I asked if he had a hot tub and he quickly got me outside.

"Without a second thought he stripped down to his tight black boxers and climbed in the water. I followed by taking off all my clothes apart from my tiny red knickers.

Stripped

"He had a really good muscular body despite his worries about his weight and he could not keep his eyes off mine. He loved the fact my boobs were real as everywhere he looked in Los Angeles the women seemed to be made of plastic.

"As the water jets fired onto our bodies he kept saying, 'You are just incredibly pretty, Suzie.' Strangely, in between kissing we would exchange diet tips and Robbie kept asking me how I stayed so thin.

"Then he climbed out of the tub, stripped naked, wrapped a towel round him and pulled me out and led me upstairs to his bedroom.

"I desperately wanted to resist him but I couldn't. The attraction between us was so strong."

Before having sex, Robbie once again began confiding in Suzanne, this time about his love life.

Despite a string of high-profile relationships, including one with Rod Stewart's ex Rachel Hunter, Robbie claimed he had not had a proper girlfriend since All Saints singer Nicole Appleton dumped him in 1998. Suzanne said: "He insisted she was the last and only person he had loved."

It was then Robbie offered to produce his doctor's note and the couple had sex.

Afterwards Robbie reached for his laptop and again laid bare his paranoia. Suzanne said: "He typed the words 'Blobby Williams' into the internet site Google and showed me the thousands of nasty stories about him.

"He said, 'They call me Blobby Williams and think it is funny but it tears me apart. That's why I live in LA as nobody knows me here.'"

Suzanne went home that night but was delighted when Robbie invited her to a movie the next day.

But she has never heard from him since.

Suzanne said: "I really thought we had a connection so I was a little surprised and hurt when he didn't call. But he is a very troubled man and has still got a very long way to go before he banishes the demons which control his life."
