APPRENTICE finalist Kate Walsh is terrified her Pants Man cereal superhero might snap, crackle and pop off with a new leading lady.
Jealous Kate fears flirty show lover Philip Taylor will give in to temptation because he's already SNOGGED another girl and is being showered with attention since appearing on the BBC1 show.
The pair were on a brief break at the time of his kiss, and Phil-who came up with the daft Pants Man character to sell cereal to kids in one of the tasks-confessed all to Kate.
They got back together but it has left her jittery and led to rows.
Insecure
A pal said: "Phil admitted his indiscretion, and Kate still agreed to take him back, but she's become very insecure when it comes to him with other girls."
The News of the World can reveal randy Geordie Philip, 29, kissed a girl in a Durham club after ambitious Kate dumped him to concentrate on winning the show.
HIRED: Sir Alan is Lord
She takes on rival Yasmina Siadatan in tonight's dramatic final as the pair battle it out for the £100,000 job with Sir Alan Sugar. You can see video of Kate and Yasmina going head to head at the bottom of this page.
It was announced on Friday that multimillionaire businessman Sir Alan has himself been HIRED as an enterprise tsar as part of Gordon Brown's cabinet reshuffle.
Sir Alan, 62, will receive a peerage, sitting in the House of Lords, and will advise Mr Brown on how to boost struggling companies.
Before that he faces a tough decision to choose his new Apprentice -either golden girl Kate or restaurant boss Yasmina, both 27 (contd below ..)

Kate hooked up with Philip on the show but made it clear business came first.
Since Philip was booted off in week seven, he has been constantly approached by women.
The cocky former estate agent has lapped up the attention, sparking rows with jealous Kate.
But pals are now worried the gorgeous blonde will tell Philip: "You're fired-for good." Our source said: "Kate doesn't like anyone eyeing up her man. She's enraged at the way the ladies are throwing themselves at him.
"He's too in love with Kate to do anything with any of them but she doesn't care because she thinks the fact he's even talking to them is being unfaithful."
Philip has quit his job and is moving from Durham to London to be with Kate. But she's got competition, because his sex-mad ex Rachel Pascall is also moving to the capital.
He dated the office worker for two years, and they loved risqué romps -even bonking up a tree and in the sea at a busy beach.
The friend said: "Rachel still holds a bit of a candle for Phil and they're still in touch. He loved their sexual high jinks and Kate is worried he'll be tempted to see her again."
"Kate made the decision to dump Phil because she's desperate to win the competition-she made it with her head.
"But when she listened to her heart, she realised she was madly in love with Phil. When he told her he had been dating someone else she was crushed.
"She tried to brush it off as a joke. But although she dumped him, she still sees it as a massive betrayal.
Strain
She feels she has to watch him very carefully and he hates that."
The demands of The Apprentice have also put a strain on the couple as Kate has been working flat out.
The source explained: "The finalists always spend time working with Sir Alan before the final so that he can get a better idea about them.
"Kate's thrown herself into the role and has been desperate to impress, which has meant she's been working long hours.
"Philip has hardly seen Kate and while she's desperate to focus on her career, Philip just wants to focus on them."
The source added: "With all the rows they've been having everyone is really worried that they might just decide to walk away before things get too complicated.
"But if they can get through the Apprentice intact then they can easily get through this difficult period as well."

He's a pillock and he thinks he's the business. She'll get sick of him. I think Yasmina will win tonight and I hope she does. It would be a refreshing change from all these management-jargon speaking types. She's put her money (or her mum's anyway) where her mouth is and made a success herself.

Kate is a clear winner!! i have supported her from day one. with clear ambitions and sence in pr marketing and product desgin. sHE HAS PERFECT IMAGE TOO! She put business before pleasure best not to mix it!!! And hope lord alan has seen her efforts!! Go kate.... Hope you win it tonight!!
