Dad has 3 wives

wow easy guys. So what if they are happy then what is so disgusting about it?

I mean this guy cares and looks after his women. But in the so called "modern civilized" Western world as one mentioned, one man in his life have an average of 20 women in their live, whether just for fun or for other reasons.

I mean the "modern civilized" Western world people have fun with each other and throw each other out. Like a product, you use it once you had enough get rid of it.

I mean this is ruthless, you break someones heart and it shows how just "modern civilized" Western people are becoming worse than animals.

I mean animals even have a duty of care and passion about their females but these people dont. All you guys know is hey lets have fun, dont worry i love you but i might leave you in order words get rid of you.

how human is that?

islam is one of the only religions that mentions having one wife in its holy book, the part where people go wrong is when they say, oh well islam says, "you can have four wives", that is right to an extent, it says have four wives if you can handle them and treat them equally. Equally, not in the sense of giving every wife the same thing, there are things which cant be equally spread out like love, enjoyment etc etc. Therefore, the teachings go on to say that if you cannot look after more than one and treat them equally enough to that extreme degree, then only marry one.

I hope this helps and clarifies the whole thing up with non muslims

Disgusting "tradition" - should be illegal PERIOD - regardless of who you are or where you come from. Whoever made the decision to accept this law breaking (for everyone else who is not muslim) situation, in the UK, should be named and shamed. That decision MUST be rescinded - Isn't this is the "modern civilized" Western world?

Oh my goodness! I remember seeing him on TV years ago about him having 3 wives although the other two could not be registered legally under the British law. I remember this story distinctively as I never forgot the strange matching outfits and hats the wives wore, and how they had no problem sleeping in the same bed!

It annoys me when the likes of him take the interpretation of having more than one wife in Islam totally out of context. The religion does not endorse having more than one wife because you feel like it. In the early days of Islam, men were encouraged to marry more than one woman because women had no means to support themselves, they couldn't or weren't allowed to work. Also there was a shortage of men from conflicts and wars so the ratio of women outnumbered the men, and to discourage the rise of motherless women, men could marry more than one but only if the other wife or wives permitted it and that everyone was treated equally including financially. I may be wrong but once they married a new wife, a man would have to cease personal relations with the previous wife but look after her financially as he agreed to in their vows.

Fastforward to the 21st century and what went on 1400 years ago is NOT applicable to today's society and thankfully the majority don't practise it. Sorry for the rant but I just had to explain this and this twit sickens me!
