X FACTOR winner Alex Burke branded heartless marriage wrecker by wife
X FACTOR winner Alexandra Burke was last night branded a "ruthless home-wrecker" -by a wife whose husband walked out on her and their daughter to live with the singer.
As 14 million Brits watched Alexandra being crowned the hit show's new queen, Maggie West told how hubby D'andre fell under the songbird's spell four years ago.
Maggie, 27, raged: "Alex is not Miss Perfect. She knew D'andre was married. She tore me apart."
Last week we revealed how scumbag D'andre-nicknamed Junior-was trying to flog a filthy sex video of himself and Alexandra. Now Maggie has told how the rat turned his back on his family when he got together with Alex, then just 16 years old.
Maggie, who lives in North London with their daughter-who was two when this happened-said: "I was left all by myself with a baby to raise while Alex got what she wanted.
She completely changed him. Before Alex, he was a great partner
"She completely changed him. Before Alex, he was a great partner, he would cook and was cool and easy- going.
"Once the baby came he was amazing. He was the only one who could put her to sleep. He would be up in the night with bottles, changing nappies.
"But when Alex came into the picture all of that changed, especially after he left. He was a completely different person-totally under her command."
Maggie's revelations come after the wife of Alexandra's only other serious boyfriend Russell Brooks, 29, claimed she had split THEM up.
Alexandra insists Russell had already left wife Tracie and their three-year-old daughter when they got together.
But Tracie, 33, said: "Alex comes across as a sweet girl but she must have known Russell was married. There's nothing sweet about that."
Recently Alexandra spoke of how her own home was torn apart by her dad David's cheating.
And when Maggie heard judge Simon Cowell say Alexandra made him "proud to be British" she decided enough was enough.
She fumed: "I can understand why Simon Cowell would say that for her talent, but is a husband stealer what you want representing your country?"
Alex met odd-job man D'andre at a talent show in 2004, soon after he joined her mum's band Soul Explosion on bass while she was one of the singers. Before long he was at Alex's beck and call.
Maggie said: "He was spending all of his time with the group.
"And when he began getting phone calls and texts in the early hours and I would see Alex's name flashing, that is when I got suspicious. Suddenly she would call and he would drop everything because 'the band needed him'.
"It started to feel like there were three people in the relationship."
Computer worker Maggie insists Alex, who is now rumoured to be in a romance with JLS singer Marvin Humes, 23, always knew D'andre was married.
"After the talent show we met her and were introduced as Junior and his wife Maggie. She knew who I was. We made small talk," said Maggie.
She later grew suspicious about her husband's relationship with the teenager but D'andre-who had cheated on her once before-insisted nothing was going on.
Maggie said: "I found out later Alex and D'andre had been together since before my daughter's second birthday.
"It makes sense looking back. We had a birthday party for her in September 2004. D'andre said he couldn't be there because it was Alex's sister's birthday and he needed to be there to perform.
"I asked if they could celebrate the sister's birthday at our place instead and that was the second time I met Alex. I thought it strange when she didn't even say hello to me."
After the party, D'andre and Maggie had a furious bust-up.
"He had plans to go back out with Alex, which I thought was hurtful on our daughter's birthday. He said, 'I'm working, what do you want me to do?' But his behaviour towards me had changed.
"It just felt different and sour. But he would keep saying it was all in my head."
D'andre stormed out after the row, returning days later to collect his things. In tears, Maggie recalled: "I thought he was at his brother's.
I knew something was up but couldn't prove it
"But when he returned for his stuff Alex was in the car outside. She looked up at me. She was texting. I had our baby in my arms in the doorway and I asked him, 'Why is she in the car?'
"Alex was always with him. She looked up at me, looked away, and carried on texting. I knew there was something going on but couldn't prove it."
D'andre told her he was living with his brother when in fact he had moved in with Alexandra's family.
From then on, he began to cut himself off from his own family.
Maggie said: "At first he would call once a week to ask about our daughter. He would come round for ten minutes and then Alex would be beeping in the car for him to come out. He would say, 'Oh I can't leave her out there'.
"It went from him seeing his daughter all the time to him not seeing her for four weeks or more.
"He stopped taking my calls or when he did I would hear Alex in the background calling his name and he would be like, 'I've gotta go'. I was so hurt.
"I felt there would be more respect there because I was the mother of his daughter."
D'andre still refused to admit he and Alexandra were together. Then Maggie saw them as a couple on TV during her first X Factor appearance in 2005.
She was filmed with D'andre's family during a "homecoming" after being axed from the show. Maggie said: "I was watching TV with my mum, my sister and my daughter.
"Then when D'andre came on my daughter said, 'That's Daddy'. I just started saying, 'No it isn't, no it isn't' and took her out of the room. I was in shock.
"I felt sick because of the images from the day I had seen Alex in the car and because I couldn't believe I had let someone so young do that to me.
"We had mutual friends who had tried to warn me they were together, but I would take D'andre's word for it, as I still loved him."
Because of what happened, Maggie has hardly watched this series of X Factor, but has been sickened by some of the publicity about Alexandra.
"I read one article about her dad cheating on her mum and I was shocked that Alex would talk about it. I just felt like our faces were being rubbed in it because she had done the same to us.
"It obviously affected her, so why would you then do it to someone else?"
D'andre, who has tried to get back into his daughter's life since splitting with Alexandra early last year, this week confirmed Maggie's account saying: "It's all true."
He and Maggie are in the process of getting a divorce.
An X Factor insider said: "Alexandra dated D'andre West in the past, but she has put that all behind her now. Russell Brooks got together with her after he had split with Tracie.
"All Alex wants to do now is concentrate on X Factor."

Y does everyone keep saying 2 marriages? Like i said b4 i knew russell brooks around same time or just b4 he got serious with alex. Never met in person but spoke on phone each night for 1 to 3 hours . He would text me each morning and eve and talk to me allday through facebook while we were at work. He was very romantic and seemed very sincere. We met through facebook and he kept trying to get me to meet up with him but thats not my style. He gave me both mobile nos and his work address. I spoke to him on phone because his facebook profile said he was single and his photos were very tempting, inc tasteful naked model shot but u couldnt see his manhood. Plus we had been flirting online. He told me he was separated from his wife that his wife lived with her lover. That he was my age which is actually younger than his real age.plus i thought how could he be on the phone with me all this time if he was married? Y does everyone keep going on about JLS ? I know they were cute and theres a good boyband draught i.e. There are no good boy bands . But JLS are hardly Jodeci or boyz II men or Jagged edge they are no where near and only 1 at most 1.5 of them can sing lol thats not a band thats one peng short a** and his friends singing back up lol As for Alex she was no where as good as Beyonce . The diff in quality when they did the duet was obvious, plus she has as much likability, originality and personality as a piece of cardboard and is fake when she talks but gets real and puts her heart in it when she sings and was the best on the night. So deserved 2 win. STOP deluding yourselves about JLS! Now if the final was between laura ruth + alex or even laura rachel (on a good day) and alex we may have had a diff winner.

I dont blame the women for selling the story they are hurting because they think they have lost something but in reality these men werent worth your time love or energy. Thank your lucky stars theyre gone and try and be a better judge of character next time. Love and respect yourself dont go chasing no man period esp one that does not love or respect you or your child enough to respect the sanctity of the commitment he made to you. Raise your daughters to be better people and then you would have truly have won.

Totally agree with loly tyson 14 dec. Shes fake. It was easy to see through the butter wouldnt melt act and the embarassing tears on cue, but it was a singing contest and the best act on the night won. I think it would have been a far more interesting final if Laura, and Ruth were in it. That would have been a real contest as those girls could sing also and didnt deserve to get kicked of when they did. But truth be told none were the best singers in the world i have def heard better quality and versatility but to win in this game you got to know how to play ppl And Alex certainly knows how to do that. Its not right or fair but geniune nice ppl often finish last. I feel sorry for the women cheated on. But unfortunately thats life . Learn to love yourself and surround yourself with ppl who love and respect u because real love the type worth fighting for should not hurt.

I think alex was fake and ruthless but most successful ppl are. Sometimes the only way to get what u want in life is to play the game and play it well. Hell its wrong but no one died! Lets get some perspective here it was a singing contest not a morals + ethics contest. If u dont like it/her y give her so much air play. Fact: Alex wasnt married the men were. I used to know the second one - Russel Brookes around the same time as Alex - he tried to start a relationship with me - through facebook. His status said he was single and he was always very nice and romantic - he said he was going through a divorcebut him and that he and his wife were separated and that his wife had an affair just one month into their marriage and moved in with her lover . He said they had a child together (who he was very proud and fond of and couldn't stop talking aboout which made him seem lovely), but despite the child him and his wife were no longer living together and that he was living with a friend just outside London. I'm not saying that what he said was true but this is what he told me - so he probably told something similar or worse to Alex.

Give the girl a break! men will tell you anything to get with you -and Alex is a pretty girl. You don't know what either of these men told her, to start a relationship with her - What we already know the first one - D'andre was a low down sleaze as he cheated on his wife before - so why the hell did she stay with him? She made her bed obviously he'd cheat again- plus D'andre now wants to sell a sex tape of him and Alex! Hardly indications of someone who would be straight up honest with you and faithfull 100%.

If this story is true - she best take heed. Not the sort of story one would like spread across newsland.
It would have been better to hear how she went about arriving where she is now with her chosen career, not how she stole husbands.
I dont think these two ex-wives are trying to make any money for themselves, it's just all part of getting to know Alexander, who she is and who knows her. Some people making excuses that she was only 16yrs. What is that supposed to mean?
Where are the friends she has? Why no special comments?

I was not down with getting into anything with him -because I don't think meeting guys over facebook is the way to go, but I was tempted because he was cute . He kept trying to get me to meet him and go out for a drink - he gave me both his mobile numbers and his work address. So go figure. All I'm saying is that often the only people who know they are in a relationship are the people in it so it's down to them to be faithful and face up to the consequences and blame when they are not - the other parties don't always know the full story only what they have been told and how many honest cheats do you know? Plus I think he is a semi-descent guy, because he let it be known when he was in a relationship with Alex.

I watched the whole X-factor series this year and spent alot of money voting for Alexander. She did deserve to win as she was the best singer on the show, however I am disappointment of the bad press she is currently receiving. Everyone has a past, so lets just say that she was young and inexperienced. I do believe that now she is in the public eye she will be a little more cautious of her actions and behaviour. It maybe was a bad idea for this girl to make this public , yes. But I know Alexandra was only 16 but her family knew about it didn't they, why didnt her Mum stop her seeing this older married man who was clearly no good ? Some ambitious girls know exactly what they want at 16 and play the game.

The truth about the whole scenerio is that the past will also catch up with u.She knew far way back that she was coming a second time then why shuld she get entangled wiv things like that? (the evil that men do, lives to follow them). Then, it was Rachael who has truly repented and living a clean life that pple were throwing stones at. Who cares about any of this lot - if this was supposed to be the final contestents with the so-called X-Factor, then what does it say about the British non-talent! The woman who won, together with all the runners up, will be forgotten in no time.

My dear it is not a talent to get married and get a kid it is a talent to marry the right person and have a kid in the right time. It just prooves that it was not a right move, maybe you got married because he got you pregnat. I think it is the worst excuse to use the child when marriage is in fact over. Such parents are not a good example for their kids and waste their own lives living a lie. I can understand it hurts when men cheats but you said yourself he was perfect after baby was born so was he really in love with you? I know quite a few guys who can talk hours talking about their children but never mention their partners/ wifes.

What does a girl of 16 know about love and men, D'andre should have known better than to mess around with a 16 year old girl- he was the married adult. Girls between the age of 12 and 18, haven't any sensible judgement - so leave Alexandra alone -she has done well and stop dishing the dirt.
We have all made mistakes - D'andre took advantage of a 16 year old - so stop trying to make money out of Alexandra.

I believe she is an excellent singer but was more interested in JLS wining as they are different and would be very good role model for young men. I believe alex had done herself proud. However, messing two women marriages between the age of 16 and 20 is no ambition for a young girl or for the young women of Britain, so she will not be an excellent role model. It is obvious that one of the judes had already aclaimed her victory which to me seemed as if is was already fixed so don't matter how many vote she wold have won, some people are powerful and anything can happen. I don't understand why self-centred people looking for attention feel that they have the right to judge someone for something that happened years ago. This guy knew what he was doing and just because Alexandra happened to win the XFactor she's already getting lots of abuse. i bet if she hadn't won this woman wouldn't have sold her story, it's all about the money. For all of those people who say she shouldn't have won, did you actually watch her performances EVERY week, she was so consistent and extremely versatile unlike many others. She is not fake, she is lovely and the fact that she didn't even realise what she had achieved last night was so endearing. Alexandra is a an amazing singer, she is going to a superstar and i wish her all the luck in the world, she deserves it!!!

Some people, really have no common sense do they ? She didn't deserve to win, if out of all of them, she deserved to win the most.
