CANNY Katie Price is filling her treasure chest again - with a new deal for TWO new telly series.

Jordan and hubby Peter Andre will scoop £1 million EACH by launching themselves in America.

And it means the topless model turned reality star and writer will be one of Britain's best- paid women on TV.

The celeb pair will star in the 12-part Katie & Peter: Stateside in April. Then they'll film another fly-on-the-wall series, set to hit our screens at the end of next year.

ITV2 will fork out over £2.5 million to make the shows. Katie and Peter will pocket £1 million - plus another £350,00 each in "talent" fees.

Their earnings will be topped up to £1 million each by other TV appearances.

It means another period of boom and bust for Jordan and her ever-changing surgically- enhanced boobs . . . making her the country's THIRD highest paid female television star.

Last night, a source told the News of the World: "Katie and Pete are not to everyone's taste but they make fantastic car crash TV.

"The new show will follow them living and working in the US. Then they'll be back with another eight-part reality show later in the year.

"Katie's nothing if not canny when it comes to cash and has secured a superb pay deal. It'll be a happy Christmas in that household."

Payday comes as mum- of-three Katie, 30, and Peter, 35, see their £2 million deal with ITV for Katie & Peter: Unleashed near an end.

The couple, who have shrugged off recent claims that their marriage is in trouble, have made four fly-on-the-wall shows since getting together on I'm A Celebrity in 2004.

And now TV execs reckon that Jordan - who's estimated to be worth £30 million - will appeal to US viewers. The source added: "This new show has huge potential in the States. If Jordan cracks it over there then the sky's the limit. Americans love an entrepreneur."

they both look like they need a good scrub,I cant wait to see them in 10yrs time, that should be a good laugh, its obvious they are just a business, not a couple another posh and becks, what a sight they look like something from another planet, shame for the kids I say, enough time spent on these clowns, and the people who watch them

I'm happy. I love their show, so I'm delighted that there will be lots more to look forward to.

Bank your money quick Pete, I feel a Madonna style divorce looming.... Your show is entertaining, but cant help but feel no matter what you try to do for Kate, its never good enough. Kate, a word of advice if you dont know what you want in life, down tools, cut out all the publicity hype, sit on a beach and think about it.... you have a beautiful family loving husband, banked enough money to grow old with... Enjoy it !!! You have it on a plate...start appreciating it.
