SUPERSTAR Cher has sold a luxury home in Hawaii for a whopping £5.5million.

The Oscar-winning actress and singer, 63, auctioned off the six-bedroom mansion, which she designed herself.

She bought the land overlooking the Pacific for £1.8 million and only started building the house last year.

It has now been snapped up by a buyer from Arizona.

The 8,800 sq ft property on Big Islandhas an infinity pool and spa overlooking a golf course. It also has six bathrooms, a private cinema and a bar.

Cher reckons she has owned 18 homes in her life.
